**What do you like best about Yodeck?**

We use this daily within our retail store and having full customisation over what is displayed to our customers has been a god send. Yodeck make it super easy to setup and change what media is being shown to customers, we installed the simple app on a amazon firestick and it runs very nicely in the background. We had a few questions initial which the customer service team were more than happy to help with and guide us through the easy integration.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

I wish there were some further options to scale media for the device they are running on, like stretch, cover etc, but is a very minor thing as long as the uploaded media is scaled properly.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yodeck, have enabled us to show up to date marketing materials in our store and has become a talking point and helps to incentivise customers to purchase something that they may have not considered or advertise events that we are hosting.

**What do you like best about Yodeck?**

Yodeck makes managing digital signage simple and efficient. The interface is intuitive, which means even non-technical users can quickly schedule and update content across multiple screens. The range of features—such as remote management, drag-and-drop scheduling, and template options—helps keep displays engaging without requiring complex design skills. I also appreciate how smoothly it integrates with different media formats, making it easy to keep content fresh and professional.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

While the platform is powerful, the initial setup for hardware can take a bit longer than expected, especially when configuring multiple devices at once. Some of the advanced customisation options also feel slightly limited compared to larger enterprise solutions. Additionally, reporting and analytics could be more detailed to help track engagement more effectively.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Yodeck is helping us centralise and streamline the management of our digital signage across multiple locations. Before, updating content on different screens was time-consuming and inconsistent. Now, with Yodeck’s cloud platform, we can schedule updates remotely, keep branding consistent, and roll out important messages instantly. This has saved time, reduced errors, and improved communication both internally and with customers. It also allows us to be more flexible with promotional campaigns, so marketing efforts have greater impact without adding extra workload.

As a newcomer to Yodeck, I initially compared it to Xibo, a system I was familiar with from a previous role. However, Yodeck stands out significantly. It's clear that the development team meticulously designed each feature and interface element, resulting in a truly user-friendly experience.


I particularly appreciate the ease of managing and monitoring my digital signage network, even with a large number of players. The intuitive dashboard and clear navigation make it a joy to use.


If you're seeking a reliable and efficient digital signage solution, I wholeheartedly recommend Yodeck. Whether you're a small business or a large enterprise, Yodeck has the tools to meet your needs.

Its one of the feature of customizing templates, also clean simple user interface and great customer support.

Very few software out in the markets which don't have the downside and Yodeck is one of it.

The issues we were facing was to depend on other design tools such as the canva and adobe for creating media content for template support, but now in yodeck you can use predesign templated and you customize it according to your personal usecase.

The layout editor isn't as intuitive as it could be. It should be easier to modify media/images so that they fit perfectly on a TV screen without looking awkward.

Extremely easy to use and develop into a full fledged content system. Able to take in multiple sources and serve as a flight information monitor for the airport as well as integrate with other platforms to serve automated alerts and improve passenger experiences.  The auto implementation is a nice touch with the shipped out players so I can pre-program my content and deploy out in rapid succession.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

AI support bot is a little rudimentary and can get things wrong when poising a question.  Wish the chat was actual chat and not just directing to a support ticket that can take a while to get a response on.

Combination of multiple data sources and presenting them in a visually appealing manner.

I had a graphics guy create my short videos and images advertising various businesses.  It was simply to load them up to a playlist without any help.

When I have needed help, the Chat BOT was incredible!!  Almost always got answers to my challenges.  

In just 2 cases I had to send questions to support.  They were just as great in making me feel comfortable and respected my average tech knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

I had a designer create little video clips of business ads.  Essentially they just had some movement involved.  I was surprised that I could not extend the time it is viewed...even just the last frame.

Not a big deal, but would be nice.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We sell advertising on screens.  
This is so simple and effective verses all competing products.  
I checked at least 6 others before deciding on Yodeck.

We've been looking for a solution to present both static (slides, content sites, pictures) and dynamic content (charts and dashboards) for our employees, and Yodeck met all the requirements. It's simple, intuitive and affordable.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

If you're planning to present complex dashboards, I would strongly recommend avoiding the 1GB player. It runs out of memory and you get presentation issues. I would also recommend the Yodeck team discontinue this version and adopt the 8GB version.

We can present live KPIs for our teams so that we can keep an eye on the important information.

**What do you like best about Yodeck?**

The ease of setup.  The yodeck devices (raspberry pi) were delivered preconfigured to my wifi environment settings.  This made setup pretty much plug and play.  We use them linked to a google slideshow, which is a very basic method for casting signage.  However, you do have several options as to what type of media you choose to use for casting.  Previous to purchasing the yodeck devices, we used google sign builder (and still do on a few displays) which is no longer available.  The yodeck devices seem to use about 5% the network bandwidth compared to using a chromebit.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

I haven't really ran into any downside yet.  Fingers crossed.

Yodeck provides an easy, cost effective method of casting signage to get our message out there and visable!

While the entry pricing is good, costs can add up if you’re managing many screens or need advanced features. Some competitors provide similar capabilities with different plans.

Before Yodeck, updating signage across multiple screens was time-consuming and manual. Yodeck solves this by letting me control all screens from one online dashboard, which saves a lot of time and effort.

I like how user friendly it is. It makes setting up a digital sign in our store front very easy. I can access it from anywhere even if I am not at the store. I can quickly update our signage as well which helps a lot.

The price can add up very quickly if you want to add multiple devices for additional signs. Especially since I am purchasing my own hardware to run the signage.

Easy to use, simple interface.. it just works.  10 minutes from first login to setup and running.  Pre-sales support was helpful.  Able to move between different playlists is super easy.

Hardware limitation - I needed POE as an option.  There's a third-party add-on that I had to get, it would have been nice to have an option directly from them... but, that's a very small complaint.

What truly sets YoDeck apart is its simplicity combined with powerful features:

Easy to use and setup a screen. Lots of options to get the layout and tools you want to display.  Biggest plus when we were looking for a solution is that they offer one free screen with full features. Just supply a device and give it a shot to see what you think. They also add features over time.

Some scheduling options are not available if you want regular sound events at set times for instance.

I appreciate Yodeck for its excellent value for money. It's an affordable and powerful tool that provides all the features I need without a high price tag. We use Yodeck players for our entrance screens where we display various images and announcements. The platform is extremely easy to use, even for non-technical team members. The cloud-based setup is a huge plus, we can upload and change content from anywhere, and multiple people across teams (including marketing) have access to manage the screens. The fact that the basic version is free makes it even more accessible. Overall, it's a very reliable and user-friendly tool that perfectly fits our needs.

**What do you dislike about Yodeck?**

One area for improvement would be integrations. For example, we would love to see native integration with Outlook Calendar to automatically pull and display events or schedules. Expanding the integration options would make Yodeck even more powerful.

**What problems is Yodeck solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Yodeck, we tried several digital signage tools, each with its own pros and cons, including using native Windows options. However, most solutions required direct access to the display for updates, which was not practical for us. Yodeck's fully cloud-based platform eliminates the need for physical access to the screens entirely, saving time and making remote management simple. This was one of the main reasons we chose Yodeck, and it has worked flawlessly for our needs.

They also provide the Media Player with a one-year subscription, which I think is a great deal. The support is solid, guides you throughout the process.

Integrating with programmatic ad partners is not very straightforward.

The variety of different apps available within the admin console means I can find a solution to most of the options I am look for and achieve the result I am aiming for.  I also like the webplayer option allowing very quick and easy implementation of the content and a one click button allows you to push any updates in a matter of seconds.  Customer support has reached out several times to check that everything works as I want it to and made it clear if I have any queries they are there for me.

It takes a little while to work out where each app falls under and you have to do a little bit of playing around to find the right app to get it working how you want it to.

Keeping guests informed of vital information whilst keeping them entertained with videos and music.  It means that any waits are hopefully reducing down frustrations from out guests.

We've been using Yodeck for our single digital signage screen. The setup process was incredibly smooth – truly plug-and-play. Within minutes, we had our screen connected and ready to display content.

The Yodeck portal is intuitive and remarkably easy to navigate, even for someone with minimal digital signage experience. Managing content, creating playlists, and scheduling displays for our single screen is effortless.

What stands out most for a one-screen deployment is the reliability and simplicity. It just works. We don't have to worry about the screen going blank or content freezing. The ability to monitor the screen's status from anywhere is also a huge plus.

Yodeck has proven to be an extremely efficient solution for our needs. If you're looking for a user-friendly digital signage platform, especially for a smaller deployment, Yodeck is an outstanding choice. Highly recommend!

Some apps are not yet 100% perfect, and the selection of apps could also be expanded a bit.

Before Yodeck, it was a real challenge for me to communicate information efficiently and attractively. I had to laboriously distribute content via email – often static, confusing, and not very appealing. Especially dynamic content like current restaurant menus or short-term announcements could hardly be meaningfully displayed.

With Yodeck, that has fundamentally changed. Now I can centrally manage content, plan flexibly, and display it on screens in real-time – all with an intuitive user interface. I am particularly impressed by how easy it is to integrate multimedia and dynamic content. This not only saves time but also ensures significantly more professional and attention-grabbing communication.

The benefit for me is enormous: I reach my audience faster, more targeted, and in a visually appealing way – without technical hurdles or complicated processes.

The device control options are quite limited. When I try to turn off the display, it doesn't actually power off as expected. Additionally, I can't view important information like battery metrics or CPU details such as temperature and running processes. I wish there was a way to remotely connect to the device so I could configure settings or troubleshoot issues directly.
