Yellowbrick is an outstanding high performance data platform that is straightforward to implement and maintain. It has proven itself to be an enterprise-class analytics platform with rich workload management and security features capable of supporting hundreds of users across data science, business intelligence, data engineering, and AI.
Our implementation of Yellowbrick involved a large scale migration of existing data assets and analytics products - an effort that was well supported through methodology backed by automated tooling. Interoperability with common data warehouse technologies further allowed us to leverage existing investments in key components such as data acquisition pipelines and end user analytics while upgrading data warehouse capabilities. The Yellowbrick support team was outstanding in providing support and the solutions my team needed to meet my team's objectives. My team and I had the requirement to load high-volume data into a Yellowbrick database in a performant way, and when it turned out that the initial solution suggested by the Yellowbrick team ran into performance and out-of-memory issues, rather than putting the onus of finding the fix or an alternative approach on my team, the Yellowbrick team "owned" the issue and went so far as to provide fairly complex custom code (and multiple version of it to resolve additional issues that were encountered) to help us achieve what we needed to do. Also, on other unrelated questions and issues my team had, the Yellowbrick team was always very responsive providing prompt feedback, and I never felt that I needed to make an effort to draw out information or responses from them. This shows great commitment to customer service and to making sure that our company's engagement with Yellowbrick is a success. Thanks to all the members of the Yellowbrick support team! I wasn't part of the evaluation that led to my company's purchase of Yellowbrick's product/license. From what I've experienced so far with the Yellowbrick product and their support team for 5 months, I can't think of anything that I have disliked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
