What I like best about YARDI ABF is the ability to import dataload files into the budget software and all reports needed for clients are easily generated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The part that I dislike about YARDI ABF is the MLA process for leasing commissions and TI. It is a bit tedious having to set up so many different dates and parameters for the process to calculate correctly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once I got trained properly and worked on one budget, it is easy to apply the knowledge to the next one and get up to speed. It is a good budgeting tool if you are going to do budgets for multiple entities multiple times for efficiency's sake. It offers a lot of good functions if you do like to explore them! It would take some proper training to get started. And even if properly trained, there will be a lot of little issues that you'll encounter and have to figure out later on. The program is simple enough to learn, both ABF and regular Voyager, but is not always intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's limited to the input it gets from users in yardi voyager - ie. Someone inputting the wrong data or not enough data during the leasing process, or simply not putting the data in the exact place yardi use to pull from. It also does poorly integrating cross-platform tools like Entrata, Popcard, Lead2Lease, etc. Leasing teams need to anticipate entering in information from prospects and/or applicants into multiple places most times and even then yardi still manages to pull the reports incorrectly for things as simple as weekly tours and leases -- let alone on ABF side of the program.
