Alert appropiate team to deal with IT incident at any time including outside office hours. Improve collaboration and communication between team from different department to work quickly to solve IT issues.

I have use it for some time and have nothing to dislike and complaint. Some integration is complex to connect, but have been solved by the dev team from xMatters.

Sent accurate ticket assigment to the correct on-duty team and not disturbing off-duty team. Solve issues faster by following in-place workflow for troubleshooting.

xMatters is a game changing for our IT response team. Fast detection using the 24/7 scanner to detect incident/issue with our IT system and it will tag the issues by it severity tiers before notifying appropiate IT team to fix it. Easy to implement since almost every steps is automatic and help our IT team saves time in monitoring IT system.

Long learning curves of training. Complex tools to understand and require proper training session before operating the platform.

xMatters helps our response team to be effective and shortening IT incident fixing time. Real-time notification/alert system ensure to have longest running time and preventing a minor problem to turn into a major issue.

Overall, I like it because it provides a great experience thanks to its easy-to-use features. I also like being able to send notifications and maintain communication in any corporate environment.

Excellent performance in managing IT incident notification and alert system to help responder monitor IT system health. Accurate support ticket generation that give insight and assign troubleshooting task to releven team member that is on-duty.

Setup process is long and complex. Need constant help from support team to execute difficult features.

xMatters is proven to be valuable and helpful in time of IT crisis. Can access the dashboard from mobile device to quickly make assesement of alert that the system sent to me. Real-time system monitoring is now possible after deployment.

No issues at all. It offer us transparent overview of each incident that it logged on the system.

Create incident report and at the same time, alert IT responder for the problem that the system detect. Ticket accuracy is important to pinpoin issues that responder need to fix.

Constant IT monitoring in real-time. Timely alert as soon as the scanner detect an error. Accurate report detail for error that happen. Easy ticket assigment to the right responder.

Lifecycle visualization wasn't too helpful and lacking customization option.

What I think the best about xMatters are with its customization and integration with Slack to create alerting system. Easy to connect and access by mobile application and monitor latest alert easily.

Fast to access with robust tools to setup a 24/7 IT system monitoring and alerting system that notifying on-duty IT response team regarding IT incident. Great video tutorial guidance for learn how to operate the platform. Good structure design allow me to explore the platform freely and require little to no support from the customer support team.

Challenging to setup, but the training video tutorial help a lot to figure out how to operate the system.

xMatters is totally live saver for IT response team. Any anamolies/problem that the system detecting on our IT environment will be triage for its seriousness and level of importeness before the issues is alerted to suitable IT response personnel to be fix. All this step is automatic, which make it easy for our organziation to monitor the system.

Need a proper introduction training before utilizing this software because all the tools is quite complex and challenging to operate.

It’s a great idea to have a scheduling tool to help collaborate and plan.
It really helps to improve process flow and streamline communication by eliminating the need for separate bridge conference calling systems.
The app integration is really a winner here. The automated notification through the app is something we really use well in our organization and has really helped to improve response time and resolution.

The design of the product can surely be better in terms of the UI, intuitiveness, and ease of use.
Xmatters needs better integrations with other tools like slack or Teams.

Easy dashboard design to use and navigate between setting and reports. Live alert notification into responder notification inbox or SMS. Quick access to the software from mobile application to check the current status. Simple step to integrate with IT stack and IT system. Solve IT issues and filter the alert based on the severity of the problem.

**What do you dislike about xMatters?**

The first deployment process is long and difficult to implement. There are video training and guidance for the setup process, but it is not enough and need a direct support from the customer support.

Saves operating cost, time to resolve and notification automation that alerting IT responder on error on IT environment and infrastructure. Recover IT function using the recovery point that the software has backup is life-saver feature for us.

Easy to use, allows you to create groups and quickly send mass messages. Moreover, it is accessible on mobile applications, so available at any time, wherever I am.

There is no function that, to my knowledge, is not useful; however, I find that creating special date ranges (for example, during vacations) is not very simple.

Being able to contact multiple people quickly without needing to know their contact details and the group members. The escalation system that contacts the substitute in case of no handling or no response after a certain period is great!

**What do you like best about xMatters?**

xMatters is a excellent tool to log ticket in service now automatically once any issue occurs in application. I like the UI for working with tickets, assigning slot to team member based in region, reports and many more. It's intigation is very good with service now. Many of times I don't need to service now to close the ticket, it closed as well automatically from xMatters within few clicks. It's customer support is excellent to fix any issue or any new intigration. it is very easy to use. Our team uses this xMattes tool very frequently on their shift to make sure tickets are closed in time. The implementation of all intigation is very easy and smooth.

**What do you dislike about xMatters?**

This is not dislike but but some time I observe bil slow response while closing ticket. This is we can say kind of NIL but better if we can improve this.

This has resolved auto logging INC ticket in service now with out any manual effort.

Clean UI and simple graphics make xMatters easy to understand and use. 
Multiple supports like Mobile Application and xMatters Web enhance user experience. 
By automating the ticketing process using xMatters,its saved time and therefore leads decrease manpower efforts.
The notification workflows is the best features of xMatters.
Implementing things is easy as compare to other tools which we previously using.
Customer support is available 24*7 for xMatters.
Due to simple and easy frequency of use for this tool increased for daily.
Ease of integration with mobile notification make instant alerting for any issue ocurred.

The procedure to implement automation tasks is little bit complicated. Available videos are enough but more training videos or channels should be available to learn the uses and automation stuff of xMatters features.

In Production support IT industry we have track lots of Incident and task tickets and that involve loyts of time and efforts.
While ussing xMatters it is helping us to track and resolve our product related issue alerting by automation which save our lot of time and efforts.
Drag-and-drop feature that allows us to make a personalized interaction interface where we can interact with other member to keep an eye on probable incidents and resolve ASAP.
we use xMatters at organization level which integrate our alerts with service Now and helps us to manage our tickets - RITM, Incidents and change easily. 
FIS is using Service Now and xMatters in large scale for ITIL and Incidint management. Basically xMatters and Service now is our main tool of the product which envolves us and clients to deliver the support as per clients need and expectations.

24/7 IT system scans and monitoring. Real-time alert to IT team for high-level error. Provide premilinary report on the error and root cause of the problem. Simplify notification management that is easy to be used and accurate with data.

Confusing steps to integrate with some of third party vendor software, which delayed the implimentation.

Easy design and structure to operate the platform freely need a very little support from dev team to completely implementing it with IT system.

Too many advanced tools is quite daunting and need an extensive training to use it.

**What do you like best about xMatters?**

We like the fact that we can use an agent in our local environment and execute custom workflows via the agent without compromising the security of our network.  We are now using it daily in production to help automate our incident response and perform functions for remediation.

**What do you dislike about xMatters?**

We have found some issues with the logging verbosity.  It's hard to determine where the problem is at times due to a lack of visibility into the logs of the agent and/or workflows.

**What problems is xMatters solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to automate certain functions that would normally require a response from multiple teams in the off hours and speed up our time to recovery without involving excess personnel.  We have built workflows that are triggered by outside alerts which leads to even greater automation and hands-off processing of incidents.

1. Automatic ticket creation on alerts.

There is no way to bulk acknowledge and close the tickets.

Automatically filter type of incident category before sent-out notification to responsible team.

Integration with Slack to create channel and Jira to create issues as part of the workflow to respond to incident.

Calendar on Teams software isn't responding with the integration. We are now utilizing two different calendar format and it is not efficient for our operation.

It could be my phone connectivity problem, but I constantly having problem with delayed SMS notification to show-up. Some features is complex to setup and need heavy support from the opsdev team.

Analyzed the scenario/alert category before assigning the alert to a suitable responder tier.

Review alert impact after problem is fixed for analytic report. 

Make alert responding worflow easy and able to easily integrate with ServiceNow for faster remediation work.

Need more calendar integaration option as we use our own build-in calendar management. Right now, we had to use two seperate calendar system which is ineffective and confusing.

We are now effective with responder shift schedule and only responder on-duty will get notification for problem outside the office hours. Incident collaboration and management for our financial system is secure after xMatters deployment.

Xmatters has plenty of integrations so an engineer can be notified about events/incidents from a variety of sources.  The app, calling feature, SMS, and email alerts are always on time and notify the correct individual.

The scheduling process is clunky to not only see who is currently on call, but also to do the scheduling itself if we lose a teammember or need to add a new engineer to the rotation

**What problems is xMatters solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Removing the human factor of calling egineers for incidents.  We now receive calls immediatly when there is an issue vs. 5 to 15 minutes later with a NOC engineer "eyes-on-glass" then finding the correctm team to call.

Problem can be prioratized based on it severity, and there is a structured plan of action or worker on-call to solved issues in real-time. I really like xMatters easiness in providing accurate details on schedule and notification.

Some issue and delay when I set SMs as my notification medium. I had to opted for email back to get an accurate and time sensitive email notifictaion.

This is the emergency alert from the mobile app (:-) laugh), but it sounds loud even if you're sleeping it wakes you up. It's good, but it's still unpleasant sometimes.

xMatters is very easy to use, and is usable on both Android and iOS Platforms.  We use it every day, and have not had any issues yet.  We are able to integrate custom API scripts into xMatters for alerting for very specific needs.  It is very easy to setup, and you hit the ground running with this solution.  Our customer support of our clients has increased significantly, and we have less complaints of missed alerting.

**What do you dislike about xMatters?**

Closing only one alert at a time is a hassle, if there was a way to acknowledge a batch amount of alerts that would make this tool incredible.  Swapping "On-Call" shifts with another employee is kind of hard to understand at first.

**What problems is xMatters solving and how is that benefiting you?**

xMatters helps us solve the issue of On-Call alerting, especially after hours.  It also helps respond to specific SLAs for customers when an incident does occur.

I can always reach my account contacts when needed and they have worked to line up help with every issue we haved faced. I will also say when there is an issue (which is  rare) they are the single most responsive provider or vendor I have worked with in 20+ years in IT.

Price point is a bit high compared to competing solutions. For a larger organization or business where critical communication is a priority they are worth every penny.

The multiple integration availablility of the tool with emails, API, etc is great.
Integrated with SNOW, we can track the number of alerts received with incident creation.
The reporting module is also greate.

The User interface should be a bit more user friendly, especially, when the alerts are acknowledged and resolved.

xMatters has significantly simplified the process of contacting on-call personnel. Previously, our company relied on Excel sheets for each department's on-call schedule, which often led to user errors such as outdated information or incorrect phone numbers. With xMatters, the hassle of hunting for the right team and contact details is eliminated. Users can easily search for the required team and message them using the integrated messaging feature. Additionally, the ability for on-call individuals to instantly join bridges is a significant advantage. Integrating xMatters with ServiceNow is definitely huge plus.

**What do you dislike about xMatters?**

The present "cloud-based" technologies become unusable if there are upstream DNS issues, a situation applicable to any cloud service provider. Also, text-to-voice is sometimes unclear.

xMatters' solution significantly improves our IT alerting process, enhancing our operational efficiency and minimizing downtime.
