Leading a transparent and straightforward approach, the team demonstrates flexibility, dedication, and friendliness, allowing for an enjoyable workflow. **What do you dislike about Xfive?** We did not encounter any problems working with Xfive. The solution delivered meets all our expectations. There are ways to expand on the delivered solution in a subsequent project, and if we do so, we will reach out to Xfive again. **Recommendations to others considering Xfive:** Ours was a rather unusual software development undertaking,and most other development companies that we had contacted before finding Xfive showed little interest in our specific technical objectives. Xfive stepped in and handled the challenge brilliantly. Right from the start the team demonstrated a confidence-inspiring willingness and ability to understand our unique needs, and the discovery process convinced us that Xfive was the team that would enable us to attain our goals. In addition, businesswise, Xfive were transparent, fair, and realistic: the cost estimates we received were reliable and allowed for confident budgeting on our side, which further encouraged us to work with Xfive. Our advice? Do not wait, and contact Xfive today. **What problems is Xfive solving and how is that benefiting you?** A key goal of our project was to develop an open-source digital web-based application for the production of scholarly editions of historical documents. The editing application takes the output of a collation of multiple text witness files produced by the script CollateX and permits editors to select a main text, establish lemmas, determine if variants attested in witnesses are significant or insignificant, offer emendations, make multi- user col-laborative comments, and output the result in a form suitable for the production of a critical edition, online or in print. It is for the development of this web application that we hired Xfive. ### 3. It was easy to communicate with their team with just an email. I also liked that the work done was all part of my monthly fee. **What do you dislike about Xfive?** The one thing I did not like about Xfive was the billing. On occasion, I had already paid a monthly invoice but I still received notifications that it had not been paid. I would write back to them saying it was paid with proof but the issue never seemed to resolve. **Recommendations to others considering Xfive:** Check around to see if what they charge is the going rate before signing up. I do not know if my rate was competitive but I always got great work. **What problems is Xfive solving and how is that benefiting you?** I had issues with linking gold and silver spot prices to my website and creating formulas using those spot prices. Xfive took that information and incorporated and formatted that information onto my website. ### 4. We have worked with numerous devs and none of them understood or was able to resolve the complicated issues with our site. Xfive was the only development agency that was able to not only fix our site but continues to improve it. We are so happy to have discovered them. **What do you dislike about Xfive?** We honestly do not dislike anything about Xfive as we are very happy with them. **Recommendations to others considering Xfive:** Work with Xfive ... You will not be disappointed. **What problems is Xfive solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our website needed a complicated complete reconstruction. Xfive completely overhauled our site and fixed all our slow speed issues and our site now receives three times as much traffic after only several months. X5 is such a pleasure to work with and is excellent and so professional. This helped us materialize what we envisioned for pur webpage, and afterwards the development went preety smoothly. I also have to add that they followed the budget we set up and were always very responsive and attentive. **What do you dislike about Xfive?** One of the upsides, which is that we really managed to go in-depth into the Discovery phase, aslo was a little downside in that it was very time consuming. We also spent a lot of the budget in the Discovery which could have been more efficient. **Recommendations to others considering Xfive:** To make the process more efficient, I would go to them with a very clear idea of what your company needs and requires from xFive. I would definetely reccomend the Discovery for new companies but would probably skip it for long established ones. **What problems is Xfive solving and how is that benefiting you?** xFive developed the webpage and ecommerce platform for Quest Cruises, a new boutique cruise company. Through our new platform we will be able to attract more direct sales. ### 6. Here's just one example, he opened his office in Krakow to families trying to escape the war in Ukraine. **What do you dislike about Xfive?** Sometimes communication over voice is difficult because of accents, but they have been trying to improve that by taking English speaking classes. However, with that being said, all written communication in Pivotal Tracker or email is close to perfect. **Recommendations to others considering Xfive:** Hire them !! You won't be disappointed (I don't get paid for saying that either). **What problems is Xfive solving and how is that benefiting you?** They solve for me, the question of can I do this ? Can I do that ? They are limitless in their capabilities as a development team. That's very exciting for a dreamer like me. ### 7.
