I am still getting used to “reconciled” is your “cleared” I. It has really saved us money on having to not pay a bookkeeper and allow us to be in better control of our finances. It's a very nice and great tool as it makes it extremely easy to manage accounts, staff and invoicing. Xero is user-friendly and very professional and it offers a number of practical functions, streamlines money administration and saves time. **What do you dislike about Xero?** Xero has many positive aspects but what i like least about it is its pricing. Prices for Xero can be a bit pricey for small businesses. **What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?** For more than 4 years, we have used Xero and it has entirely changed the way we handle our finances. Relatively easy to learn and I have learned quite a few systems now. Excellent world wide tech support. Particularly useful during the initial phases. **What do you dislike about Xero?** I really appreciate the find and match feature for bank reconciliation. However, it would be much more useful if it allowed reconciliation to clearing accounts as well. In my workflow, I use Jane EMR as the customer front end, which processes credit card payments and marks invoices as paid. The issue is that the funds are not deposited immediately; there is a delay of several days. To prevent problems at month end, I record these credit card payments in a clearing account. When the payments eventually arrive in the bank account as a batch, I reconcile them to the clearing account, but I have to do this manually because the find and match feature does not support it. If the intention is to keep 'Find and Match' uncluttered, perhaps there could be a separate function, such as 'Find and Match Clearing,' where you can specify an account to match from. **What problems is Xero solving and how is that benefiting you?** As an accounting program, it assists me in preparing the monthly accounts for a Physical Therapy business. I love how they are continually making adjustments to clarify information for users and how they are leveraging the use of AI which frees up more of my time to accomplish more. **What do you dislike about Xero?** I would love to see Xero allow for a bit more customization on the user roles. I appreciate how easy it was to get started with Xero, thanks to its user-friendly setup process that includes an easy-to-fill-out detail form. This made the initial experience smooth and effortless. Additionally, I find Xero particularly time-saving in my daily operations, particularly due to its auto-suggestion feature which streamlines tasks significantly. The tracking of invoicing is another aspect I find immensely valuable, as it ensures I can easily manage and oversee my invoicing tasks efficiently.
