The product was basic and, the Cloud "add ons" were clumsy. For example, saving files to Dropbox was limited to saving to the root directory of your Dropbox directory. This meant giving tha system access to your entire Dropbox service. The lock-in was also unhelpful; it's not possible to edit your files if you downgrade to older desktop only versions. It was difficult to find information to help with migration in and out of the toolset. Upgrades and updates from older desktop versions are confusing. Support is poor. The cross device support was limited to a very broken and inconsistent browser based experience.

Even if the product hasn't been used, the company insists on a 12 month non-refundable commitments. Customer supports response when I complained was to send the same email several times. After I asked for escalation, the reply was to tell me "it had been escalated to the CEO". I've heard nothing back since then. Overall, an awful and frustrating experience. I enjoy that there is seemingly no shortage of photoshop and video making opportunities. I also appreciate that there are many formatting options for exporting an image. There are many moments where I wish to perform a simple edit but it requires a multi-step series of pressing various tools in order to do so. In the image design part its weak spot is that transparency options are quite limited compared to AI or PS. When dealing with web designs and you make a fairly large website it's necessary to have the elements associated with your designs on the PC where you installed Xara or else it becomes a challenge when trying to make modifications.
