What I like best about Xactly Incent is how well it handles incentive compensation plans. It makes calculations more accurate and transparent, and the reporting helps both admins and sales teams clearly understand payouts and performance.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

Some parts of Xactly Incent feel complex and take time to learn especially when setting up or changing compensation plans. The interface can also feel a bit slow at times, and reporting customization could be more flexible.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xactly Incent helps us manage complex incentive compensation plans in one place. It automates calculations, reduce manual errors, and makes payouts more accurate and transparent. This saves a lot of time for our team and builds more trust with sales teams since they can clearly see how they incentive are calculated.

The tool manages multilayered self-incentives as well as group and joint sales incentives, making it incredibly versatile for my team's diverse needs. I find this feature particularly beneficial because it simplifies what could otherwise be an overwhelming task involving numerous variables and conditions. Additionally, I admire that the initial setup of Xactly Incent is simple and straightforward, allowing for a smooth integration into my workflow.

I really like that it takes the headache out of calculating and tracking commission expenses. Everything is automated, which means I don’t have to worry about errors creeping in from spreadsheets. It also makes compliance with ASC 606 a lot easier, and I appreciate that it integrates well with other systems we use.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

The setup wasn’t super simple at first—it took some time for our team to get used to the system. The dashboard could be a little more intuitive, and customizing reports sometimes feels more complicated than it should.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Xactly CEA, commission expense reporting was stressful and time-consuming. Now, it’s much more accurate and audit-ready. It saves our finance team a ton of time every month and gives leadership confidence that the numbers we share are reliable.

I have been using Xactly Incent for a little over 3 years and I am genuinely impressed with how much it has streamlined my workflow.  One of the things I appreciate most is the automation.  Automation is a total game changer!! Calculating commissions used to be a tedious, manual task that took up too much of my time.  Now, with just a few inputs, the software handles everything accurately and efficiently.  I really like how it accommodates different commission structures, whether its tiered, flat rate or custom plans. 

The integration with our Salesforce CRM has been integral in the success of implementing this software into our day to day! 

Customer support and consulting through Canidium has been TOP NOTCH! Anytime I've had a question or needed help customizing something, the support team has responded quickly.  

Overall this software has significantly improved how I manage payouts and team incentives.  It's reliable and flexible!

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

The only real challenge with Xactly Incent for us has been Ease of Use in Analytics.  That being said, Xactly has heard the challenges and is launching a new and improved version of Reporting for the end users!

Xactly Incent is solving all of our commission struggles! The streamlining of plans and automation to our Salesforce is essentially in this success!

I've been using Xactly for some time now, and it's clear the platform is evolving in a direction that prioritizes both intelligence and usability.  With its growing set of features, especially the upcoming AI enhancements, Xactly continues to be a strong choice for sales compensation and performance management.
Xactly offers a well-thought-out user experience.  The platform is intuitive once it's configured, with dashboards and menus that are logically organized and easy to navigate.  While the initial setup can be a bit technical depending on your org’s complexity, day-to-day usage is straightforward.  Features like guided workflows and robust search functionality make it easier for users to get what they need quickly, without hunting through layers of options.
The platform has a modern, clean design that’s both professional and user-friendly.  Visuals are used effectively to highlight trends, goals, and performance metrics.  Reports and dashboards are well-structured and visually appealing, which helps when presenting insights to leadership or sales teams. Xactly manages to combine aesthetics with functionality in a way that enhances the user experience without overwhelming it.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

While Xactly has many strengths, there are a few areas that could be improved.  One of the main challenges is the lack of instructor-led training.  Most of the available training is self-paced, which makes it difficult to ask questions or get clarification in real time—especially when dealing with complex setup scenarios.  Additionally, the cost of training and certifications is quite high, which can be a barrier for teams looking to fully leverage the platform.

Another area of concern is the decline in the quality of premium support.  In the past, support was more responsive and hands-on.  Lately, support often struggles to assist with more complicated issues, and the default response is frequently to recommend professional services—sometimes even for changes that should be manageable in-house with the right guidance.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Xactly Incent helps solve the complexity of managing and tracking sales compensation plans.  Before using the platform, calculating commissions was time-consuming, error-prone, and difficult to scale.  With Xactly, we’ve been able to automate commission calculations, ensure accuracy, and provide clear visibility into earnings for both sales reps and leadership.

This has improved trust in the compensation process, reduced disputes, and saved our team significant time during payout cycles.

Frequent users find it convenient.

Xactly is a powerful tool, but not always intuitive especially for new admins or users unfamiliar with incentive comp systems.

Xactly eliminates  inaccurate, delayed, or overly subjective sales forecasts by using real-time data, AI/ML models, and historical performance to provide more objective, data-driven forecasts.

The recent upgrade is impressive, as it brings all reporting platforms together in one tab, simplifying navigation. The streamlined import/export facility is another fantastic enhancement. Additionally, I really appreciate the AI/ML features and the new PLAN implementation functionality.

I'm excited to utilize these upgrades with my existing license and look forward to implementing them in the current financial year. Great work, Xactly team!

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

Having everything in one clean layout that's easy to interpret or flow through is a major advantage that many organizations have not come to realize quite yet. Productivity suffers dramatically when utilizing various software options to complete various tasks that could otherwise be completed in a more Streamlined process like Incent. This makes training, and absorbing of that training more efficient and productive.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

The only thing that comes to mind, is that sometimes many options can be counterproductive or confusing. Not to say that once utilizing, I may experience this. But I believe there could be a challenge in ensuring that folks are using Incent for the appropriate functions and knowing about the capabilities that they do have access to. I believe it could be helpful to provide exemplary cases or processes that have been implemented in an effort to display the functions, capabilities and usefulness of incent.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous model relied on our CRM to present the information to us in a complicated manner that was scattered amongst many different dashboards/displays and had to be configured uniquely to display or demonstrate the results we were trying to see. It was taking way too much time, and despite my engagement with Incent I do believe that I see a light at the end of the tunnel with Xactly, which will simplify those efforts.

As someone that is strictly going into Xactly to view reports, I'm not sure whether my issues are with the actual product or the implementation of it.  

It's solid at giving me the info that I need, I guess.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

It seems overly clunky and as I said in the "likes" about Xactly, I'm not 100% sure whether my issues are with the actual product or how it was implemented in my organization.

I find that it's often difficult to navigate to find the numbers that I'm looking for.  I often have to wade through multiple steps, just to find a basic report (ie. Monthly Commission).  I have also found it annoying that I can't just view a document and always have to download it every time.  Nitpicky? Yep, but it can be quite annoying.

It solves having to use a spreadsheet and gives transparency to my comp.

**What do you like best about Xactly?**

Use Xactly Incent to pay quarterly and annual commissions and bonuses. It is easy to use, user friendly. It keeps track of all the bookings and payments made on particular orders. We have split assignments as well as various lines of business - which are brought in from SFDC, and Xactly Incent module is able to complete the calculations and the analytics module provides the reports that are used by our leaders.

**What do you dislike about Xactly?**

In the heirarchy work space, when one person needs a version, the version needs to created for all. when you search for a person for the Incent statement, the "enter" key does not work - you need to select the populated person under the search bar.

**What problems is Xactly solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps track of the attainmnet percentages. It is acpable of paying at an accelerated rate when people reach different levels of attainment. It can prorate the payment based on the incent start date. It also keeps track of YTD payments made.
