What do you like best about WriterAccess?

There was nothing better than other services to find freelancers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WriterAccess?

It's too expensive. Writer's access takes 30% of the money from the writer so they have to charge high prices to pay for their time. After two free weeks, you are automatically charged $39 a month just to stay on the service. The charge to talk to a writer to find out if they are appropriate is 50 cents a minute. These charges make Writer's Access considerably more expensive than other Freelance Agencies, and the writers are no better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WriterAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was looking for a ghostwriter for a book. I did not find one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Describe the project or task WriterAccess helped with:

Requested content from writer access for SEO purposes. Paid them for higher level writing. Ordered dozens of articles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WriterAccess?

WriterAccess has a lot of writers working for them. Some are quite good Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WriterAccess?

Some of their writers are extremely unprofessional. Their writers try to game the metrics at your expense. Writers cancel orders right before the deadline which means you need to restart the process.

Many writers would rather not get paid for an order than revise as the system penalizes revisions. That means you need to start over and hope next writer gets it right,

Most recent order was on how to get people to take vaccine. the writer who their system gave it to was anti vax and claimed vaccine is unsettled and medical doctors are divided on it.

when i asked writer to revise she was rude and beligerrent Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WriterAccess?

Two things I like best:

1) direct access to the writers. It's more of a collaboration, and we can post questions and answers back and forth to make sure the piece is on point.

2) the platform has features others don't. The ability to save briefs, profiles, set up folders, segment different writing teams. It's a very intuitive and robust system. I love how you can see which writers have been active, can see their projects per month rate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WriterAccess?

It can take a few tries to find a writer that is a fit, especially when you are looking for highly niche and technical writing. The WA staff can help, but sometimes you just have to see for yourself. When I've had a particularly bad performance by a writer (rare), WA has been responsive to make sure I get my money's worth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering WriterAccess:

Set up an account, jump in, get some projects done. You will see as you do what features and benefits can be gained. I can explain it all day, but you have to see it. Find the ways it can help you save time, for example, upload your company creative brief and audience, so they can easily be added to future projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WriterAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

Benefits: speed to market. I can have WA writers working on projects with just a few minutes of project details, then I'm off on other marketing tasks while their writers are working on it.

We've had good success with our SEO, using blog articles that WA writers have worked on. We compete in 5 product areas, each with a different set of competitors, and yet we are leading on all fronts with position ranking for our key product terms. That is in no small part to WA writers helping me to fill content/keyword gaps to create clusters of 15-20 pages around a large pillar page on each topic.

We are defining new terms and space in MarTech, writing about Visitor Relationship Management, and WA is helping us educate the market similarly to how Hubspot developed Inbound and Drift developed Conversational Marketing.

I've used WA to further marketing goals at 3 different organizations over the past 5 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WriterAccess?

The self-serve portal and ease of ordering. It's very easy to find and choose writers, add them to your team, and submit the briefs quickly.

The account managers and support staff are incredibly helpful and respond very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WriterAccess?

There's really not much. Everything is pretty great. But if I had to pick something it'd be to make sure you communicate with the writers regarding cost per word and budget. Some have a very broad range and it can be confusing when budgeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WriterAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have 3 writers for 3 different topics that I can trust to do a great job with minimal reviews and edits. I can do my thing (SEO and content research) and order and receive great content to support my websites in 5-7 days.

I can finally take a step back from the hands-on writing to being able to set a strategy and have my new team execute. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WriterAccess?

There is a platform fee in addition to paying by the word.

Variable per word writing costs may make budgeting harder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WriterAccess?

I find nothing I like about the site. None! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WriterAccess?

-Writers are not any better than people you can get on Fiverr. The quality of the writing is just awful.

-You have 7 days to approve/modify the article, and if you can 't use you have to pay for it anyway.

-They make it extremely difficult to cancel, i. It's borderline harassment really. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WriterAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

No benefits. Problem, I have to pay for an article I can't use. I wasted $100 for nothing. Wish I spent it writing the article myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WriterAccess?

Nothing about this company is worth pursuing over hiring your own writers in house or seeking another content provider. You really can't trust this company because they choose not to do the right thing because they hide behind their 'company policies' which are theft. Imagine the opposite experience of Amazon or Apple, that's the experience Writer Access gives consumers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WriterAccess?

Treat your customers the way you want to be treated. There is no way of cancelling the service. You have to jump through hoops. Meanwhile, they will continue billing you and never return your money to you if you deposit funds.

We have since hired 3 writers in the house for much less and the quality of work is much much better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about WriterAccess?

Nothing. I contacted their support team and heard nothing back. Terrible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WriterAccess?

The format was supplied for each content item. Even the FAQ questions. An exact example of webpage structure was given.

I had two writers include different topics that were not related to the content they were instructed to produce.

I paid for the TOP level of writer, honestly, save yourself a lot of stress and do it yourself or go elsewhere.

Not worth it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WriterAccess solving and how is that benefiting you?

A complete refund. The content is useless Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
