A simple yet powerful app for video editing with lots of useful features. It allows you to trim videos, adjust the frame ratio, add comments, different stickers including the animated ones, and share videos on social media platforms like Facebook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't know how to remove the watermark, and it was a bit annoying, but the problem was solved when I addressed it to the app service. I should have done it much earlier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that the app allows me to quickly edit videos, and upload them somewhere right away. For instance, I didn't have to adjust to the interface much, all the features are pretty simple and it's easy to figure out how to use them. Generally, the software is a great analogue of more professional programs, but with a simpler interface. I also like that the program doesn't crash and you can use it on both your laptop and your phone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that I don't like is that exporting the video can take some time and occasionally the loading stops and I need to save the video again. The good thing is that all the data stays safe and I don't need to restore anything, only tap 'export' again. This has happened to me only a couple of times, though, so not a big deal. Write-On Video has a nice simple interface that enables you to intuitively understand how the features work. I think it's a great option for beginners since it's free, comes with quite a few tools and is actually not difficult to master. When I just got it, I was able to start editing/working on my projects basically right away. Super easy to figure out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think adding some more professional-level tools would elevate this editor - it's good as it is, but I can think of at least several tools that are missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's actually pretty rare, in my opinion, to find an app that adds text, sketches, audio files to a video so easily without any problems. The main advantage of this app is simplicity. Even if you are a complete video-editing newbie, it won't take you long to adjust to the interface. I have used other video editing software before and always had something that bothered me. With this particular one, no issues so far. I like that files can be easily loaded to Kdan cloud, which also simplifies the process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes this video editor can be a little buggy. For instance, if you want to drag in a text window, the video is being dragged instead, and a couple of other similar issues that I hope get fixed. Also, when I load a video and press play, it can be a bit laggy. I wouldn't call these issues crucial, but it takes a few extra moments to do those things and it's not something I particularly like. The app is well-designed and it doesn't have any glaring issues, so working with it is pretty convenient and easy. The available tools aren't super-professional grade, but for creating simple content, this editor is just perfect. It's easy to set-up/figure out and get to editing. I also like the direct YouTube uploading feature, saves a ton of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I with there was a laptop version - as of now, you can work only on your iPhone or iPad. Not great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This video-editing app is pretty solid - it's got the basics down very well. You're able to create a nice looking short video in no time and export it wherever. Also, easy to use and to play around with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even though the application is simple - it might be a bit too simple, it seems to me that it would be nice if it had more features. For example, the app lacks the ability to impose effects on a video or watch it in reverse - would be nice to have these tools added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't edit videos very often, and when I do, I tend to use iMovie on my phone. With this app, though, I've been able to get a bit more creative and actually have fun. It's nice that you can add your own soundtrack, all kinds of stickers and export it right away. Another great thing - it's very easy to master. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does freeze occasionally, with an especially large file, so you have to restart it. For smaller files, though, it works like a charm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Having previously worked with Final Cut and Premier Pro, I can say that I know a thing or two about video editing. So when the need arose for video editing software other than iMovie for my iPad, I began researching the web and found Write-on Video. To my surprise, the app comes free and I thought that I'd give it a go. I was genuinely surprised what this app had to offer in terms of features and from how simple and intuitive the whole process is. Maybe for somebody who's new to video editing, it won't be as comfortable right off the bat, but nonetheless, it shouldn't take a novice too long to figure it all out quickly. Overall, it's a great program and it performs very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, for the free version that you get it's really hard to fault this app in any way. Like I said previously, it does more than iMovie and some of the features that come in the box are surprisingly good. Maybe if I were to point out the week spot, it would be the somewhat limited amount of filters. I am aware that more come with the paid version, but as of this moment, I am on the fence on paying for the whole thing, but I am very tempted to see what more it can offer. For being such an inexpensive app, it packs quite a few tools, that if learned to use correctly, are actually not bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found different versions of this application for Mac and iOS, but I did not find it for Windows. This is not very convenient because I'd like to use it on Windows as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
