Top Rated WP Umbrella Alternatives

Super simple to use, very easy to set up. I had a minor problem with my configuration when I first set up, but support was very quick to remedy it and I've had no problems yet. I use this software every day, and have had no trouble with it since I set it up. All of my sites update with no problems, and it looks like the rollback feature will be incredibly handy if I need it.
Great piece of software! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a bit hard to figure out where everything is located, so I find myself clicking around to get to the right spot. Once you figure out where something is, it does make sense, but I would like it if the menus were a bit more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The set of features are awesome, the pricing is extremely reasonable (even for countries with struggling economy standards) and the team is really responsive and always bringing solutions to the table.
They are always listening to their users and shaping the product with user feedback at a great pace. That's some new fresh energy from a growing company that the competitors already lost.
It's super easy to use and implement, scalable and the user experience is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike really, just take into account the product is relativetily new and in full development and some functionality may be on their way or differ from other advanced (but convoluted) solutions. Anyway, they took several critical features and developed them really fast!
My only wish is to have a Free tier for sites that won't have an active care plan but still need to monitor slightly. This is the only thing preventing me from ditching ManageWP for good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Support and transparency from the development team.
They have a clear goal of what they want to build and they're constantly taking on feedback.
I've been using WPUmbrella for my client sites since the early days of WPUmbrella. I've provided lots of feedback to the developers and they've acted upon them.
This is absolutely a platform that is being built by people that understand their users.
There support is also superb, everytime I've had a question or noticed a bug, they've replied quickly and resolved the issue quickly.
The platform is easy to use as well compared to competitors and the fact that white label is included and not an added extra, is a huge win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is new compared to others and this isn't always a bad thing, but it does mean it can have some issues which competitors do not experience.
These issues are rare and when reported are resolved quickly.
The most frustrating issue I've had was when WPUmbrella could no longer communicate with a client site, I had no idea this had happened, no email sent to me and the notification of this issue was "hidden" on a rarely used page.
I've sent feedback on this issue and they agreed this wasn't a great way to notify of a disconnection and are looking to improve this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The WP Umbrella team is always innovating, working hard to improve their product. Customer support is great; the team is very responsive. They offer a migration service but implementation was so simple, I was able to do it myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WP Umbrella is still a fairly new service so it might not offer all the bells and whistles other services offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This tool gives you a clear view of the status of the various Wordpress sites you manage. Updating extensions, notifications when one of your sites includes a risky extension (or a risky version of one of your extensions), updating themes, creating automatic and manual backups, and much more... all these features make WP umbrella a tool that has become indispensable to me. On top of this, Aurelio and his team offer fast, efficient service, and are ready to answer any questions you may have. In short, I can't find a single negative aspect to this extension, which will become an indispensable addition to your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have nothing negative to say about the platform, because WP Umbrella is so efficient and effective that if anyone encounters any difficulties on the platform, it's down to their own poor handling (which seems unlikely to me, given how intuitive the tool is). And I say this because the only time I've ever had to contact support was because of a mistake on my part (which was dealt with very quickly and sympathetically by the team). I really like the simple but great UX design. Everything just makes sense. I also really love that they are continuing the development of the software. It just keeps getting better and better. Like 3 months ago they also added a FTP connection to be able to restore back-up. I have asked about this feature in the past because not every customer of mine is on my servers with SFTP. So i could not restore back-ups using WP Umbrella. It is great to see they took this feedback and the feedback of the customers and actually do something with it.
Also the customer support is great and very helpfull! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would love to be able to filter projects on tag in the bulk update section. Webshops also need more attention so I would like to be able to split them and than bulk updates just the webshops. Seperate from the normal websites. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am really glad I came across WP Umbrella. It has become a vital part of my daily business process to help manage my growing list of clients and their websites. I now feel in control of updates and it has also proved useful in many more ways; Helping highlight security issues as they arise and providing backups (with lots of options). I have already recomended it to others I work with who now use it too.
In the time I have been using WP Umbrella the team have also ehanced the product in many ways - it is becoming more and more valuable to me. The pricing structure makes it a no-brainer in my mind for anyone who works with wordpress websites.
It is easy to set up and integrate into my sites and the one issue I had was dealt with extremly well. The customer support should be a benchmark for others to aim for.
A very happy user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothingt I dislike about WP Umbrella. Im sure it will stay that way if they continue on the path they are on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love that it's in one integrated dashboard and, especially, that we can now get visual regression tests of the home page before committing an update. If an update breaks the layout of a site, WP Umbrella gives you choices to roll back the changes or do other interventions. It also allows us to white-label the work we do for other agencies. The reports are the best feature. Our clients love to get that report and it helps us keep at least one monthly touchpoint with them, which often results in additional paid work. We can monitor uptime and performance as well as PHP errors. It's an extra source of backups and enables hourly backups for busy e-commerce sites. The support team is responsive, professional, and helpful. And they have a robust features and fixes suggestion process that results in new features and fixes being rolled out regularly. The company communicates regularly with its users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's getting better, but for the past year, as WP Umbrella has had growing pains, the configuration and operation have been a bit of a learning curve. Plugin updating features were spotty in reliability. It sometimes loses connections to various sites and we have to do a bit of troubleshooting and contacting support to sort it all out. But support has been amazing and very responsive. The "Custom Works" log that gets added to the reports has an issue with being off by one day from what we enter vs. what is shown in the report the customer sees. Backup restores aren't always reliable due to connection issues, but we can always get the full backup as a zip if the in-tool restore fails. Bulk updating across all sites at once is tempting but not recommended until there's better stability overall, and it needs to be segmented by labels so that clients with different update schedules don't get them too soon or too late. I've transitioned all of my client sites to WP Umbrella from ManageWP. Moving multiple sites was simple and the setup was easy. Starting out, I had a few questions about functionality and their customer support team was amazing. Very responsive and helpful. I'm extremely pleased with the service and the follow-up. I'll be recommending WP Umbrella in all of my web designer groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was concerned that a safe update option wasn't available when I signed up, however that feature has been integrated within the las month. I don't have any dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

An affordable tool with a very clean and intuitive user interface that allows me to manage my client's sites, feeling safe with the provider service of backups and plugin update. With their recent feature of backingup prior every plugin update I'm more than happy. It also provides a report with errors, uptime information and security. It's easy to setup and integrate with websites. We use it for daily backups. They have an amazin customer service! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be great to have an integrated malware scan. I haven't had any problems aside from one time when it disconnected due to a connection error and backups stopped being created. I reached out to customer service, and they provided fast help to solve it. The issue was related to the hosting service provider and the plugin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WP Umbrella includes all the site management features I require with a simple interface and at an affordable price per website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some very minor UI items that need to be addressed (e.g. awkward English wording in a few spots). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
