## Worldpay Reviews
  ### 1. Disappointing Experience—Nothing to Love

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mike s. | president, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

nothing - they failed on every level of business

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

There were excessive fees, and they withheld my money. I also encountered fraudulent statements and omissions during the sign-up process.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small business owner, when it came time to review my payment processor, Worldpay presented me with what seemed like a great offer. Unfortunately, I didn't do enough research. Many other processors can match or even beat the rates Worldpay offers, so their pricing alone isn't a reason to choose them. Additionally, if their system flags anything as a potential 'risk,' they will withhold your funds and demand additional documentation, such as bank statements. Despite having no chargebacks in ten years and my bank confirming this, Worldpay still insisted on more information. When I refused, it took months to recover the money they held under 'risk management.' The salesperson never disclosed how strict Worldpay's risk management is or that they would require bank statements. Had I known about these practices, I would never have signed up. I feel misled by the salesperson, but I don't have the means to pursue this further. After making 20 to 25 calls and sending numerous emails, I finally got my money back, but it was a huge waste of time. If you're considering Worldpay, make sure to thoroughly research other options before signing anything. In the end, I found a much better deal elsewhere.

  ### 2. Business Owners Beware: Worldpay Can Drop You Overnight

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian M. | Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

We had used Worldpay for over a decade, and during routine operations, their service was largely reliable in terms of basic card processing. The terminal hardware was straightforward, and daily settlements typically arrived on time — until a single issue revealed how fragile that reliability really was.

Unfortunately, that long-standing relationship meant very little when we faced a challenging situation. Worldpay's inability (or unwillingness) to handle it fairly has completely overshadowed any positives.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

After being a loyal customer of Worldpay for over a decade, I was shocked at how they handled a single complex situation: no accountability, no transparency — just instant termination and withholding of our funds.

We had trusted Worldpay with our entire payment system. Yet the moment a situation required professionalism and support, they vanished. Emails ignored. Phone support deflective. And worst of all — they kept the money from processed transactions they themselves approved.

This is not how a responsible payment provider behaves.

If you’re a business relying on steady cashflow and honest service, be very careful before putting your trust in them.

There are better, more transparent alternatives out there. I regret giving them 10 years of trust.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payment Processing

  ### 3. Awful Service. Run from WorldPay

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian D. | General Manager, Industrial Automation, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I was led to believe that WorldPay offered the lowest credit card processing rates in the industry and had world-class customer service. Too bad neither was true.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

WorldPay offers low processing rates and then tacks on miscellaneous service fees that increase your effective rate to more than 4%. When you contact customer service, they ignore your emails and refuse to cancel your account.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorldPay was not able to provide us any benefits.

  ### 4. Easy to use

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cardi G. | Salesperson, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

The program displays payments by date and time, which makes them easy to search for

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Had an issue connecting our devices, took some time and had to call customer service for help.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps payments organized by time which helps us keep track of payments that are done out of the office, that helps us track the day.

  ### 5. Comedy of errors

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Wholesale | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

Nothing. It has been an ongoing comedy of errors to get this implemented.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

They created the MID in wrong country. They didn't provide documentation, then they repeatedly provided incomplete documentation. Then they forgot to switch on Certegy verification.
We only found out about eCheck transaction limits when the customer's payment failed.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It should allow us to take eCheck and Credit Card payments, but the implementation process has been EXTREMELY painful.

  ### 6. Payment processing scam

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavel B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

Everything starts off perfectly legally: you sign a contract, pass a background check, sign a contract and start working.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Then you start making payments, and the company waits for you to accumulate a sufficient amount on your balance. After that, your account will be blocked forever and the money will be appropriated in favor of WorldPay. To your requests to return the money to customers, the company will reply with a sneering refusal.

However, after our many complaints, the FCA will look into this office of scammers, called WorldPay by FIS. Justice will prevail even for the best of cheats!

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide payment processing services

  ### 7. Critical payment processing issue

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charles A. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2022

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I believe their pricing is competitive and I actually get money that my business generates.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

I have had ongoing an consistent issues that tech support cannot resolve. It's incredibly difficult to get in touch with representatives who can resolve issues and I'm often disconnected which requires hours on the phone to resolve. Recently, I've had a week of consistent payment processing issues which is losing my business money. I was supposed to receive an urgent equipment replacement today that didn't arrive. After hours on the phone with Worldpay, I'm not sure even if the equipment has been ordered or shipped. This isssue is crippling my business.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They do process payments when equipment works.

  ### 8. Worst company I’ve dealt with in 23 years.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

Unfortunately there's little to be positive about with Worldpay.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Archaic systems, disorganised, unhelpful staff, high level of outages with no compensation for commercial losses.

Corporate support department is the worst. They don't even know who they're managing. Zero communication with other departments.

Also if you want to complain. Good luck

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They provide a way of taking payments from customers

  ### 9. Too Big to Succeed

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Recreational Facilities and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I honestly can't say anything about WorldPay that is easy or intuitive or useful or helpful. Franz Kafka would have been impressed by the byzantine bureaucratic despair. Here are some guesses at what could be interpreted as positives if you are one of those people who enjoy reframing things.

Maybe you enjoy listening to insipid hold music. Then WorldPay is the company for you because you will be on hold a LOT waiting for customer service to help you fix the thing that WorldPay has repeatedly broken.

OR maybe you enjoy the excitement of speaking to two different tech support agents who tell you the COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THINGS and leave you to determine which one is right.
OR maybe you want an onboarding process where your liaison puts all the wrong information in and then takes months to rectify their own mistakes.
OR maybe you DON'T want the ability to change your security settings for verifying credit card purchases, thereby allowing thousands of dollars in fraudulent claims to flow freely
OR maybe you appreciate the potential windfall from WorldPay double charging your clients on monthly fees and then making you jump through time-consuming, labor-intensive hoops to undo their mistake
OR maybe you want access to a gift card system that will break down in the middle of your Black Friday sale and then completely botch the fulfillment such that half your customers don't receive the physical OR virtual gift cards
OR maybe you enjoy hearing from your Relationship Manager that all of the problems you've been meticulously documenting were ACTUALLY caused by some other third-party system that has nothing to do with the problem

I could go on and on. I have wasted countless hours navigating WP's various portals and customer service offerings, and with a few notable exceptions, they are universally terrible and their left hand never seems to know what their right hand is doing.

I'm not familiar with any other cc processors. When I started, we used WP for cc and Authorize as the gateway, then WP told us they had their own gateway that would save us money. The moment we made the switch our problems started and have only compounded over time.

I know WorldPay is the leader in credit card processing but do NOT use them if you can avoid it. They have done SO much damage to our company and my job has almost become full-time "deal with WorldPay nonsense."

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Everything. Everything is terrible, starting and ending with customer service. We've had disaster after disaster after disaster since switching from Authorize to WP as our payment gateway. WP looks good on paper, but in practice it performs like a lumbering behemoth riddled with fleas and lice who's learning to juggle.

There are just a lot of things about WorldPay that are broken, but their customer service is the canary in the coal mine. Every time you call, they screen you. That's fine, as we all want security, but aside from the Merchant ID, the other "secure" information is the publicly-available address or phone number. I'm not sure how that's making these calls more secure. After the screening, you will sit on hold anywhere from 15 minutes (a good day) up to 120 minutes (my personal best). You may have to hold longer, as it is a crap shoot whether the person you are speaking to is willing or able to help you. And, yes, I have had customer service agents who were clearly just trying to get me off the phone as soon as possible. A few agents are AMAZING and will bend over backward to help you.

Due to an issue unrelated to WorldPay (one of the few ... sidenote, ask me about our horrible experience with CenterEdge!), we've had to issue multiple refunds for memberships and some of the WorldPay tech support agents will only issue up to 10 refunds when you call and others will issue 5,832 separate refunds because they're just so nice. Then you get the guy who INSISTS that they aren't allowed to issue any refunds at all and you end up arguing with him for 20 minutes because he's trying to gaslight you over what previous agents have done.

A company with terrible tech support/customer service is fine IF you don't need their help that often.
A company with a terrible system is fine IF they have great tech support/customer service to help you.
A company with a terrible system AND terrible tech support/customer service is WorldPay.

Don't do this to yourself. There have to be better options.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

Only use WorldPay as a last resort. And even then, you'd be better off going cash only.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems we are having include gift card fulfillment, gift card functionality, duplicate charges, regular crashes, comically bad customer service, weak credit card fraud prevention, repeated onboarding errors that disrupt a smooth transaction, inability to identify IP addresses for fraudulent charges after 30 days, and SO MUCH MORE!

The benefits we have realized is that we now understand what a massive mistake it was to sign a WorldPay contract.

  ### 10. Underhand greed

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

The terminal functiond ok other than than very little

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Unfortunately after 10 years of using them our business closed due to covid, when I called to cancel the terminal I was told I would have to pay the 12 month's subscription since it has just auto renewed, not ones in ten years have they sent us a renewal invite , we just assumed we were long out of contract and stayed on.
They point blank refused to waive it dispite our difficulty. I think this sums up the kind of underhand company you are dealing with should you use them. In all our years of business I don't actually know of another company that sneaks in renewal contracts without any warning or message of any kind telling you it's been renewed again. Shocking attitude to its customer base.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

Ensure that you don't fall into another fixed contract if thinking of changing

Be aware there charge back help is very much towards the third party

Personally after our experience of their attitude and activities I would use a more reputable company that are open and upfront

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The above email as not solved and I relised what an underhand greedy business they are with no regard to their customers

  ### 11. Each customer service experience is worse than the last. We had to move our business from them.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

It's okay when it works and you don't have to make changes, have issues or need engage with them.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

The customer service absolutely atrocious. An endless auto attendant effectively keeps telling you to go away, check the help pages and reminds you that they are open 24 hours. That's if you can find the phone number. If you have a general query that doesn't relate to an account, they will just hang up on you. I guess that they don't get stats for it. What takes a phone call when dealing with GlobalPay, takes a ticket being logged with a promise of a follow up call at a date and time to later be specified. I have engaged with our accounts department to move away from them before we have an actual payments issue that required support.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Taking customer card payments over the phone and website. The benefits were realised when we moved to GlobalPay.

  ### 12. very happy with integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I like that worldpay has great integration with Evet practice. there fees are very reasonable and they seem quick with issuing returns. I feel as though it is an upgrade vs. our previous company

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

customer service is sometimes lacking. never email you will go back and fourth without the issue being handled you have to call. sometimes the website is difficult to navigate but you do gwt used to it.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

great considering the low fees. definitely worth the try.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I like the integration aspect. its also really handy having an online portal. previously we had to have a sepperate card reader and its nice that this system does not requore that.

  ### 13. World Pay is a very basic model to navigate. simple options to choose from. No extras.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allison B. | Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 30, 2021

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I like the simple options to choose from, there is no confusion in selection. Clients use the software easily. The seamless integration is also a must-have!

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Not the most eye-catching website, but then again, it's financing, and you just need to know what you need to know. And that is easy enough to see.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great system to double-check daily totals. It has a next-day view, which many of these financial sites do not provide.

  ### 14. Worldpay Review

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** The Y. | News Anchor, Bay News TV, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 27, 2021

  ### 15. Poor Customer Service and Fees are too high

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jennifer P. | Practice Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

Worldpay integrates with our medical software and prevents us from missing payments applied on accounts.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

The customer service is awful. I have had to call multiple times about different things, and have had issues getting anything resolved. Everything from previous managers being reinstated on the account after they've been gone for 7 years, to having difficulty with receiving the information to become PCI compliant, phone calls are always at minimum 30 minutes long, with more than half of that time being put on hold, or transferred from one department to another to another. I have had one person try to explain to me how credit cards worked, and despite me asking the same question in multiple different ways to try to help them understand, I still got blamed for the problem I was having at that time. The fees are constantly increasing, and I always feel like they do not care about their customers when I try to call.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

Avoid them if you can. We only use them because of the integration they provide. As soon as there is something else available that is integrated with wireless card readers, we will switch.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only problem that we seem to have solved by using Worldpay is making sure that payments and reports are syncing up properly because they integrate with our management systems. It has saved me a bit of time with reconciling at the end of the day.

  ### 16. Best Resource for Secure Transactions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cheri J. | Fixed Operations Manager, Automotive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I have first hand customer experience with Vantiv as a Fixed Operations Director for a car dealership and used the software at the store. We were able to actually change credit card vendors for the whole store due to the better rate we received with them. We began running all of our transactions online on a browser vs even utilizing an antiquated credit card scanner.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

The only thing I didn’t care for was the cost of the hand held scanners that were offered should we decide we wanted them. They were pricey.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to securely transact with our customers and they could pay online prior to arrival with ease. Also cared for the reporting for the nights batch and how simple it was to go back historically and find data.

  ### 17. POS integration issues

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gina K. | Regional Director, Retail, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I love the ease of use in their virtual terminal - used to load gift cards, search a card, see a batch or statement, and perform a refund.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

I went with Vantiv/Wolrdpay due to their EMV capabilities. I was told they would be 100% integrated with my new POS within 6 months and during that time they would offer EMV chargeback protection for that period. Here we are 2 years later and the integration is not working. Their EMV devices won’t accept their own gift cards.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

Make sure that all your needs are being met before signing the contract as their promises of the future may not be realized.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently paying out on a ton of EMV chargebacks due to non integration with our POS.

  ### 18. Accept payments by a easy way.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

Accept PayPal, debit card and credit card payments from any device from anywhere.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

The commission they are charging for every payments is little bit high .

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

In srilanka i have only some choises for getting payments. Among those this one is good one.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using the world pay for selling softwares worldwide and get the payment through this.

  ### 19. Vantiv works

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

Vantiv has been very simple for us to integrate into our company's e-commerce platform and their personalized service is a refreshing change from our previous processor.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

There isn't too much I dislike. They're simple and once we set it up are effortless.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

They're doing well, so there isn't too much here to do. They process payments and do it well. Deposits are simple, and easy and work well.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They're just simple. Once it's set up the maintenance is little lower.

  ### 20. Simple Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily C. | Ms. Emily Carnes, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 25, 2019

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

This software is super simple to use and very straightforward for any business.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Sometimes the transfers take a while, I suppose that’s less to do with the software.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benefits, as I stated, are mostly because of the simple and straightforward platform. Not many setbacks.

  ### 21. Best used with VX805

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Electronics | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2018

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

It's versatile so you can utilize either hosted checkout, separate processing, or a terminal (VX805!). I've found hardly any issues with connectivity and the Vantiv/mercurypay team is amazingly friendly when calling to refund payments.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Sometimes the servers seem to go offline, but rarely. Not sure what occurs, but it does cause a little headache from time to time.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

Mobile system like an app to take payments in the case of POS going down or internet issues?

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to easily, and quickly take payments at over 500 locations.

  ### 22. Great product, better with just a little adjustments

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah D. | Senior Marketing Communication Consultant, Computer Software, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I love that this program is quick to find transactions and I only need to put in the bare minimum which, when searching with an upset customer, definitely helps give a smooth experience. When I can find there account that's being billed, helps to diffuse the situation 9 times out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

It's hard to figure out which information is required for search and which isn't. Sometimes there's so much information that it's hard to figure out which information I'm looking for. This could be due to the setup with the partnership and how that's set up too.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

Full of information, helpful if you need to find very specific details.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to quickly locate customers accounts, helps out specifically finding accounts that are set up NOT under the cardholder's name. Quickly helps to find out if the customer should report as fraud to their banks.

  ### 23. great processing service- very user friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

fantastic platform for commerce processing, very straight forward and user friendly. detailed training manuals and how to videos available for training purposes

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

it was a test product demonstration with vantiv worldpay, what I was demonstrated and used nothing needs to be changed with the platform very straight forward

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

well worth the try, went with a local vendor with the switch, once contract expires will consider again- rates very reasonable and fair

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

was looking to save on fees, credit card processing wire payment platform for charges

  ### 24. Excellent Product for Receiving Payments

  ### 25. Integrates well with Booker Platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | President & Founder, Religious Institutions, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 31, 2016

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I have found Vantiv to offer a great service with a seamless integration with the Booker Platform. Several months ago I wanted to streamline my business operations as much as possible, in order to improve efficiency for me and my employees. I found a solution with both Vantiv and Booker. Booker provides the platform for scheduling and other needs we have, while Vantiv powers our merchant side. I chose Vantiv over other options, particularly for their low merchant fees and it has been a great choice. Vantiv integrates perfectly with Booker, provides me with clear statements about our business transactions and their fees, and has reliable hardware.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

My only dislike was the cost of entry for the credit card swipers. They are much more expensive than Intuit GoPayment which I have also used. GoPayment got me started by providing the hardware for free and whenever I needed additional CC swipers they only charged about $20 or even gave me additional free ones. Vantiv's swipers have been somewhere around $100 each.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main business problem I solved was a clunky and inefficient process from initial intake of a new client through the point of sale. Now, when we set up a new client with their first appointment, Vantiv's merchant system is automatically setup for the final step of the process--receiving the payment after the service has been provided. It has saved us a great deal of time.

We decided to use Vantiv when we were setting up a direct response campaign because they were recommended to us through our warehouse/customer service department. They easily merged with our current platform and the money is deposited to us in a reasonable time frame.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

I don't like the way the data exports from their system. It can be very difficult to get all the information needed. I also wish the breakout of fees was displayed or broken out better.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

Make sure you're aware of all the different fee's associated with each type of transaction.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to process payments and issue returns with ease.

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

It accepts a lot of cards and is very easy to use it, totally recommended. It offers support to both, small and large companies.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

About Worldpay I dislike two things, first it doesn't have so much documentation and demos to try it before. Also their webpage opens pop ups when you want to click on some hyperlink and it's very annoying.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

Totally recomended, you found a solid product for a very good price.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I had to implement electronics payment for some pymes. It works very nice, and for the owner of the business, it results very accessible about the price and easy to learn

  ### 30. WorldPay in non-ecommerce application

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2015

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

Initial setup was the thing I liked the most. The documentation on our first steps was pretty straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Well, a lot of small problems were caused by slightly different test environment. After we did a lot of payments through test and we tried prod some things like 3DS didn't work as they should've. Also documentation wasn't quite clear and didn't contain some of the items we needed to make it work with on-site checkouts.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

In my opinion price/value ratio is pretty good. Basic setup is also quite simple, but if you are planning to make some more complicated stuff prepare to exchange a lot of emails saying that you've done something wrong and after not making any change it miraculously starts working. It's standard line of defense in their tech dept, but really isn't as bad as it sounds.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cashflow that needed to be secured enough against scams that happened quite often.

  ### 31. Great customer service, robust API

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrew L. | Digital Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2015

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

I liked the ease of use in working with the API. It was easier than working with the PayPal Pro API.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

When I used the product, the admin interface was a little clunky, but it looks like they've redone it recently.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to be PCI compliant and process orders on our side by sending them to a PCI Compliant 3rd party service. Worldpay did that for us better than Paypal Pro.

  ### 32. A great tool used by many clients!

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James C. | Founder, Owner, Tea-boy, Internet, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2014

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

WorldPay is available in New Zealand and integrates with ChargeBee (for subscription billing). This is pretty much the only reason I went with WorldPay.

If you're operating in another country though, you're probably better off going with someone like BrainTree or Stripe, since they'll be heaps cheaper and easier to setup. WorldPay were thorough and professional and their service is reliable... but then you could probably say the same for pretty much any of the payment providers.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

The application process took forever (from start to finish, around 4 months). Don't expect to be up and running very quickly with these guys. They'll need documentation supporting the fact that your grandmother had a cat in 1972 and various other details that you might not see the relevance of (OK, maybe not the cat... but you get the idea).

I also didn't much appreciate the fact that I had to pay, just to make an application to become a WorldPay merchant (something in the order of NZ$480)... but that appears to be standard down under. SwipeHQ also charged me NZ$100 to make an application with them... after which they lost the copy of my passport no fewer than 3 times (the 4th time they asked me for it I gave up on them)... so I guess to WorldPay's credit, at least they came through in the end.

**Recommendations to others considering Worldpay:**

Use them if you have to...

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My circumstances were a bit particular. I wanted a solution to charge customers for a New Zealand based SaaS company. So that I didn't have to write the code to do all the subscription management myself, I used ChargeBee and quite literally the only Payment Gateway in New Zealand that ChargeBee supported (at least when I set up early 2014) was WorldPay...

  ### 42. Intuitive user experience and powerful data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Worldpay?**

PayOS' biggest advantage is its omnichannel capabilities, and it also comes with integrated inventory management.

**What do you dislike about Worldpay?**

Sign-up for a merchant account takes longer with PayOS than with competitors. But the extra five minutes is more than worth it when you take into account the flexibility of the platform, and the fact that you can manage all channels from one merchant account.

**What problems is Worldpay solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The real-time sales data is great. And you can re-order inventory right from within PayOS.
