Workday Student also has a really strong ecosystem where collaboration is at the center. **What do you dislike about Workday Student?** Workday Student is a "no-code line" student information system which, although it can be a benefit, is also a dislike due to you having to change some of your institutional policy and procedures to meet those available functions in Workday. To be fair, my organization is currently implementing workday, and it is not the easiest to navigate. It is easy to use and the notifications are great, especially on mobile devices. Academic advising is also a great added feature. Workday Student is a pretty new feature, but it seems to be moving in a new way. It is not very marketed right now, but it does seem to have the right qualifications for more universities to start implementing. **What do you dislike about Workday Student?** It is difficult to link all different Workday accounts, especially when many jobs use Workday for job applications, as well. I have a hard time keeping track which of my emails are used in Workday. Workday overall is a very extensive platform - a lot of businesses use it for employee searching, many organizations also use it as a way to track employee work hours. It was simple, self explanatory, and works like a charm. The clean, polished look is easy on the eyes but the combination of graphics makes for easier navigation. It was nice to see when my timesheets were approved and that it calculated my pay for me. Additionally, I liked the the entire process, even supervisor approval was all online. **What do you dislike about Workday Student?** The only complaint I have about the software is the fact that I have to manually log my hours every week. I wish there was a preset in which you could log those hours and just copy them over every weeks. However, maybe there is and I just did not explore enough to see. **Recommendations to others considering Workday Student:** I would recommend taking some time to learn all the features at your hand and get familiar with the website. **What problems is Workday Student solving and how is that benefiting you?** I haven't have many problems with Workday, in fact, none, it was easy to use and beneficial. The benefits are ease of use, accessibility (I filled mine out on my phone on the go sometimes), and the simple interface. The only advice I have is potentially creating a short, quick, easy, video tutorial for first time users to guide them through the website to learn how to reach all their needs. It takes some exploring and playing around to fully grasp the website. The calendar format for entering work hours makes it easy to log and keep track of your work hours. Another useful feature of Workday is that it is possible to complete documents for Tax and other legal requirements using the software. The fields are easy to fill and the information is then used to generate the required documents. **What do you dislike about Workday Student?** It is difficult to open documents using the Workday interface. When you request to view a document, it asks you to wait for few minutes or to be notified later. The names of the generated documents are very complex. Using the current system of notification and complex names, when I click on multiple documents to be opened, it gets very confusing as to which one is what. Its notification system can be improved. There are times when I was not even aware that I had important messages in my payroll system. Email notifications and other forms of notifications that highight the importance of the message can be very useful. **What problems is Workday Student solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Workday student version to fill in my everyday work hours and get paid accordingly. The biggest benefit of using the system is that it stores all kinds of employment details and documents that include payroll information. It was a fairly easy to onboarding and I did not struggle to understand how to use teh software. I liked the way that the information and buttons have been placed.
