## Workday Recruiting Reviews
  ### 1. It’s kind of hard to navigate if it’s your first time!

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I like how you can search by name of candidate or position. The easy way to disposition candidates! We don't use any tools to supplement WorkDay. I love it!

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

I wish the candidates didn't show up if they have been dispsoitioned already - or at least if they were 'grayed' out so we know they aren't in the mix.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

Take some time to mess around before trying to do things!

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me keep track of what step each applicant is in. Whether phone interview or real interview.

  ### 2. Ease of use

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cynthia G. | Human Resources, Enrollment / Benefits Educator , Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Ability to find the candidates with the base education and experience to fill a role needed within an organization.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

There's no areas that are missing within the software.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Locating and ability to contact potential candidates quickly. Being able to check off all required skill sets and educational backgrounds needed for a successful employee.

  ### 3. Workday Recruitment software is a great and streamlined platform.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I feel that Workday is more streamlined and easier to use compared to other competitors' ATS' and recruitment software that have shown to be quite difficult to use.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

I feel that it still needs some work as it is quite clunky to use. Adding additional features that would allow for greater interactions between hiring managers and myself and for Business development would make this a much better platform to use.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned above Workday recruiting streamlines the recruitment process in regards to the interview, offer, and hiring process as it allows different people to work on different stages of the process.

  ### 4. Easy to navigate for new employees

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

What I like the best about workday is that you can do the reaching out, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding all through the platform instead of just the finding employees.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

The only thing that I dislike about workday recruiting is that they are not as well known or advertised as other recruiting or hiring websites.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems I am solving are the lower costs of having different platforms to recruit, interview, and hire. And then the employees are already acquainted with the site once they are hired.

  ### 5. The best ATS I have used to date

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

It is so intuitive, easy to you, quick clicks and readily available access. You can separate candidates linked to a role vs candidate pipelines. You can build and copy roles and correlate them to open vacancies within the organisation keeping the open vacancies/people on leave/temp covers open and streamlined. It has multiple views for the same info which makes the app easy to navigate around as opposed to a set structure.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

there isnt much i disliked about Workday. We did not utilize the interview section as we found it easier to arrange that personally with the candidates on email/call.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to build candidate pools and make them more advanced to search within.

  ### 6. Recruiting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelly P. | Human Resources, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

easy to find applied candidates who have applied currently

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

If you TD someone, it's hard to find the candidate. ex: it shows all John Smith throughout the entire united states and cannot filter by state

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

  ### 7. Smooth performance but not customisable

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

The system is easy to understand, there is flexibility in moving back and forth between various candidate stages. The UI is good. There is internal integration between various Workday modules, reducing the need to integrate with other HR systems

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

It is not easily customisable if it is used in a global environment. If one territory decides to use a particular custom object, every other territory will be able to see that.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of using other third party products it was easier to streamline and use the same product i.e. Workday for recruitment, HCM, Payroll etc

  ### 8. Good platform, a lot of customisation.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday is user-friendly, and every action can be undone.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday does not group applicants when they apply for multiple jobs, and can be difficult to delete duplicates.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday is a good tool to track candidates and onboard them once they are hired.

  ### 9. Good Workforce Management and Insights

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Organized Summary about Job, Career , Pay , Performance

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Nothing to dislike. It's a well managed application.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reviewin performance of employees and managers. Applying for leaves beforehand and getting approvals.

  ### 10. Workday Recruiting- Have all your HR needs in one place

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Victoria V. | HR Solutions Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Before workday recruiting we used ICIMS and used workday for all other HR processes. Now it is all integrated and there is less disconnect between recruiters and HRIS

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

We are still working out kinks, but it has worked pretty well so far. There have been only a few adjustments we needed to make per new hires.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

If you use workday for any other HR process, such as HRIS, benefits, etc, it is so useful to have workday recruiting in the same place so I would recommend it and it is very easy to use.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Inputting employees in was all a manual process done by the HRIS team, leaving room for error and now this eliminated this!

  ### 11. Working as Senior Specialist HR in Electronics Industry

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saad M. | Deputy Manager Performance & Rewards, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Skill match up fuctions and evaluation of candidates

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Nothing particular here to describe, I infact like this application.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

It good application with all the stat of the art functionalities built in

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is user-friendly and easy to match the applicant with the desired profile. Furthermore it's easy to manage candidate assessment in it

  ### 12. One of the most difficult ATS systems I have used

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Commercial Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I do believe Workday could be great in the sense that it would work well for a large company with multiple requisitions to fill. It allows you to set an approval process so that you know your roles are budgeted and approved which is helpful. It's not too difficult to search for candidates, view roles etc.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

I have used many applicant tracking systems before and this one is definitely one of the most difficult ones I have used. I do not believe it was created with the recruiter in mind and there is a lot of confusion on how to do simple tasks. I do not find it user friendly at all.

I do believe part of it could be the way a company sets up the system during implementation initially. I just find there are multiple places to click - it's like going back and forth between pages a lot.

The process to even post a job is much longer than any other system I have used. Making an update can be more complicated than it should be. Merging candidates is also not the easiest because you have to merge them yourself and sometimes it picks up duplicates by first name alone.

My inbox is flooded from Workday tasks. If I've completed the action in the requisition, then it still stays in my inbox. I am not able to get rid of these notifications easily and it becomes even more of a challenge when working on teams.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows you to keep track of job applicants and send them customized messages so they know where they stand at different stages of the recruitment process. Workday is at least better than relying off email without an ATS.

  ### 13. Workday Recruiting still developing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday is always working to improve and I love having the ATS as part of the entire HRIS. Everything in the Workday system can communicate well with each other.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

There's no click paths. You have to know the name of the tools or reports you are searching for to find and use them. Additionally, there is limited options for bulk uploads of candidate information and little to no true candidate relationship management tools.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently solving a workaround for using Talent Pools as a candidate relationship management tool but it is weak. We have found great ways to make the process agile within Workday. You have a lot of ways to make the experience what the company desires.

  ### 14. Workday Review from a Recruiter

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I like how easy and comprehensive WD is to use as an ATS system. You can easily find candidates and move them through the appropriate hiring process quickly and efficiently

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday can sometimes be clunky. It’s very difficult to find and run recruiting reports to establish time to fill for requisitions. It’s not a great back-end tool to use for business development and management.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve realized the ease of use with Workday to create and open evergreen requisitions and creating individual requisitions underneath each evergreen. To screen and onboard candidates the tool is very easy and comprehensive to use

  ### 15. Work Day

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

it is well organized and everything has easy access.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

sometimes , i do not get a notification about new forms or announcements.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

Highly recommended.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

processing payment and filling the form you have to make the right selection otherwise it will not work

  ### 16. ATS for Operations.. not Recruiting

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Good reporting aspects, integrates with Anaplan, lots of customizable stuff.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

WAY TOO MANY CLICKS. Opens too many windows. Not intuitive at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

This is a fine tool for Recruiting Operations, but this is not an ATS for recruiters. It is clunky, messy, and all my hiring managers hate using it.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to pull good recruiting data - time to fill, etc.

  ### 17. Outdated for today's needs: Not intuitive or collaborative.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Process managed online. I find limited other qualities to the product. I believe Atlassian's JIRA would be better suited to take over this space.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

As the hiring manager, I have no way to communicate with the recruiter through the product. As a hiring manager, my overview tab is overtaken by these grand (and useless) graphics that could be condensed to fit on a single page and not require scrolling.

Barely better than using excel. Leaves much to be desired and simplified. I'd be happy to hop on a call and walk someone through all the pain points I experience daily.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Processing interview candidates.

  ### 18. Flexible and Powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Goods | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I think that the flexibility of Workdat Recruiting is incredible. It can be configured to meet many business needs - from streamlined recruiting process for contingent workers to confidential executing recruiting - Workday can really handle it all. In combination with the core HCM module this flexibility can result in really powerful, streamlined, and transactional analytics.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

If improperly configured its possible to create some major issues within your HCM transactions. Human error happens - failing to place validations within the Recruiting business processes can cause people to miss payroll deadlines, wreck havoc on their job changes, and overall create a poor candidate experience.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem solved with Recruiting is true position management. It's possible to report on true Time to Fill and Vacancy Rate metrics. This builds a huge amount of value in the terabytes of data held within a tenant and can really help a business make great decisions.

  ### 19. Workday

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kristina P. | Specialty Sales Leader Overnight, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

What I love best about this particular app is that it has the ability to notify more than one party about potential candidates. It also allows for workplace team members to create a platform to coach and train.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

What I least dislike about this app is that it will only allow a certain member of management to access details in regards to interviews and or performance coaching‘s. It should be a little easier to access necessary documents without having to always go through a third-party that is the purpose of a management position. Now this may be solely based on the business itself and how much leverage they want each member of management to have and what level they are on.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are currently working through candidates that are able to create their own interviews without looking at a current schedule of the member of management that will be doing the interview. This is a problem because it does not allow that person to properly plan in order to be able to completed successfully. Sometimes the candidate can end up waiting for 15 to 30 minutes.

  ### 20. Workday consultant

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

The mix of dynamic process and linking into your core HR data is very valuable. There is so much power in the data and analytics you can pull on and inform your talent acquisition strategy.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

As the workday world grows it will be able to reach more third party integration as this is limited and requires some effort to create custom integration.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

Make sure you have clear requirement of what your business should look like in the future

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking candidates even if the leave a come back again

  ### 21. Better than past systems

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I like that the main interface shows all the apps that are important to my role.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Part of the apps aren’t applicable but I can’t remove them

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s great for Continuing Education, Pay, Time off, and having a directory of the company at hand.

  ### 22. Hard work and inaccurate

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

That it tries to be automatic but fails. Has a broad spectrum of information but not common information.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Doesn't seem well thought through. Like someone has taken a list of information without acutually knowing what is in the content. Has no way of amending areas which are incorrect.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Is unable to scan though documents correctly, Takes longer to correct than just filling in from scratch. Will not allow for you to have an electronics degree.

  ### 23. Workday Recruiting Allows Teamwork to Make the Dream Work!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 17, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I love that Workday is a one stop shop for all your needs related to organizing candidate screening, interviews, offers, background checks, and hires. All this data in one place makes it easy to share information between all roles in recruiting and allows for collaboration. Workday keeps you organized by having all your candidates in one platform and the interface makes it easy to track your hiring progress and see what steps you need to take next. Between the "funnel" icon that shows your hiring process from new candidates to those ready to hire and the handy notifications and inbox sections you can keep tabs on what is happening and what still needs to be done.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

One of the least helpful aspects of Workday is that it can be slow functioning sometimes. Some actions take awhile for the program to run and leaves you waiting. The other downside is that it can be hard to keep track of what work is yours vs what work is for others on your team. The notifications and inbox can often show tasks that are not yours, so this can make things a bit cluttered.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

I advise those looking into Workday Recruiting to dive into the collaborative aspects of the software and consider the benefits of having the entire hiring process occur in one platform, including hiring, offer letter creation, and background checks.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday recruiting streamlines the interview, offer, and hiring process by allowing multiple contributors to work on different parts of the hiring process. Because these changes are visible by everyone working on the job requisition it is easy to keep up with the hiring process.

  ### 24. A Self Explanatory Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

The Search Bar on top left corner - It has solution to all your problems

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

It is a little less flexible, does not blend well with all other tools

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Have used Workday as an ATS and as a HCM too.
It is the simplest tool. Simple to the customers and to everyone who uses it.

  ### 25. Workday is supposed to be an HR tool?!

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

The only thing I've found that I truly like about Workday is the ability to find where things are in the process - TO A POINT (not always easy to locate).

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday is NOT intuitive like it's sold to be. The workflow kicks things around all over, depending on people's roles. Unfortunately, work roles change depending on the task/duty so the kicking around to unrelated people is not logical or efficient. We were told the Workday people would be helpful in training and such but they seem to have put that on our employees. When Workday employees ran trainings, they had no clue what our institution truly needed so the trainings weren't very relevant.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HR and financials in one place. Benefits? Yikes. I guess only have one log-in is nice.

  ### 26. Workday is the future of recruiting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I love the functionality of this program. It's ease to teach employees how to use, and to download onto devices to use whenever, wherever.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

I dislike that it was such a hard transition teaching managers to recruit through workday versus the taleo program we were used to.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

Give it a try, it will take lots of coaching to launch, but after it is ironed out, people will realize the potential!

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are closing the gap between managers and candidates when recruiting by allowing more access and visibility to the managers. Instead of HR or admin doing all the head work the managers now get more access to recruit more often and when it best fits business needs. The benefits are EXTREMELY difficult to see when you first launch a program, but after 5 months of utilizing, it now allows more functionality to employees by the downloadable application on mobile devices.

  ### 27. Takes some getting used to

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I like how Workday facilitates recruiting tasks for a large recruitment team. It's sometimes hard to know who's adjusting what and when, so the inbox feature comes in handy when we want to know what's going on without having to search through each requisition. The task lists in the inbox are very different from Taleo and it's what I welcome most.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

I really want to tag multiple candidates at once, not add them to a pool, but tag multiple. It's time consuming to have to click each one and tag individually. I guess it makes any recruiter more thorough and complete, but it isn't good for efficiency.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

It's a great product, but really takes some getting used to if you're used to certain types of reports. Everything you could ever need for work is in one place, so use that extra time to be as productive as possible.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm solving previous organizational issues now that I have an ongoing task list to keep me sharp. I think WD is also making things more efficient across the board by having everything in one place. This benefits recruitment efforts and candidate experience.

  ### 28. Store manager hiring sales associates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

It’s hard to mess up, very clear in its step by step process

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

A little overwhelming to navigate at first

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

I definitely recommend it but it takes some getting used to

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Gallup link doesn’t always automatically go to the applicant, and you can’t go back in to expand then number of positions available - you have to create a new requisition all together

  ### 29. Not the best for candidate progression

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I like how you can easy see notes within your reqs, you can reassign roles within the req, you can search for candidates, etc. In some ways Workday is really great and simple.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday is not designed for recruiting purposes. It lacks very basic possibilities. When you see a candidate has applied to multiple reqs you don't have the opportunity to look at notes on the candidate from other reqs without having to manually click in to each one individually.
I also don't like how you can't dismiss tasks in your inbox. Things get incorrectly assigned all the time and then you have hundreds of irrelevant notifications in your inbox that you can't dismiss -- keeping you from the tasks that you actually need to complete.
I think it would be helpful if you could search candidates by phone number as well.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

If you are using Workday for the sole purpose of recruiting and candidate tracking, I would look into other platforms first. It is great for other business needs but it is not the best for recruiting.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a centralized hub for all recruiting information. It does not have all the capabilities that I wish it had but it still can be nice to have everything in one place.

  ### 30. Many ways for same outcome!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I love that no matter how you are searching for a candidate you can find by name, by open req, by date applied etc.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

The format of the questions asked. The box is too small to see all the info for the questionnaire.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping everything organized is super easy to stay on top of hiring.

  ### 31. Simple and easy to use and locate stuff

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday's UI is the best. The proper arrangement of the page really helped me to save time. In my company, i had to use Workday for a number of things including payroll.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

It's a little bit slow then i expected. I mean i had to wait a 3-4 sec for the page to load.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

Definitely recommend using Workday. It's easy to use and very convenient.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before enrolling in the company, HR asked to put all the info in the workday and i found it very beneficial for sharing my records with the HR

  ### 32. User friendly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

It doesn't take long to understand the process. I also like the notifications I receive when I have tasks to do.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

It bothers me how long it can take to look through candidates because every time I have to refresh and wait for it to put them in order of application received. Also, I don't like that I can't see all of the job postings within my company unless I'm assigned to it.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love the organization of it and functaity.

  ### 33. Great for recruiting!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

You can sort through multiple candidates easily. It's easy to move forward with candidates and can send automatic emails to candidates you'd like to follow up with or decline.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

It's hard to sort by most recent candidates/sort by date of application.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

It's much easier than older ways of recruiting and paper applications.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes it a lot easier than paper applications.

  ### 34. Love my Job

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ainsley S. | Personal Care Assistant, Individual & Family Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

The best job I ever had was one I discovered through Workday. The university where I got my bachelors degree used Workday to manage on-campus employees. I was a tutor for the Philosophy Department for 2 years. The only reason I no longer work at that job is because I had to move to a different city. I would definitely be interested in using Workday again.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Clocking in and out was a bit cumbersome at first, but it didn't take long to get the hang of it.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prior to Workday, students at the university primarily found out about on-campus jobs through word of mouth or poster advertisements. When students got on-campus jobs, all documentation of time worked was done via pencil and paper. Workday allowed advertising and documentation to be more effective, streamlined, and reliable.

  ### 35. Workday a recruiter's nightmare

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

From a recruiting standpoint, this might be the worst system I've used in over 25 years in the industry

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

You can't search easily, most times it results in false negative, times out quicikly, but that might be an admin issue

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The only good side I see is the ability to look up hires and how their package is structured

  ### 36. Amazing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

This application has helped us in the recruiting process. We are able to narrow down our searches and find the best candidates for the job.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

I have yet to have an issue with this application. If we need help, customer service is always able to help us out.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to automatically delegate which hiring manager gets candidates and able to streamline the entire process.

  ### 37. Workday is easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Apparel & Fashion | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday is user friendly and set up in a way that is easy to navigate

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

I dislike that it takes a while to load compared to other websites

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solved schedule conflicts as well as the receiving and sorting of applications

  ### 38. Workday Application

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nayana P. | Nayana, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Easy to navigate and user friendly interface. It also provides a mobile version. Excellent report capability with options to expose report as a service. It comes with a lot of options to integrate with a third party.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

The workday community site is bit confusing. The search dosent appear according to the relevant data. The seamless cloud platform they offer comes with a cost. Not suitable for small companies.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of entering work time and time off requests. I am able to revise my profile and timings and submit it to my supervisor. An employee can see his all year performance, his role in the organization, his profile, training, skills all in one place.

  ### 39. Great Software!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I loved how easy it was to track candidates progression and move them to and from different categories. It was so easy to move someone from phone interview to in person interview, or reject them out right. You could easily see all of the candidates you were reviewing for a certain position in one place.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Navigating from the homepage was a little challenging when I was first figuring out how to use this software. My supervisor had to walk me through step by step to get to the place where you move the candidates through, but once you got to the place you were looking for, it was easy to navigate.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

Once you get past the initial learning curve and navigating from the home page, it is a fantastic user friendly resource to administrate and track candidates profiles!

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You are solving the problem of keeping recruiting candidates organized and concise. It is a huge benefit to see and track where a candidate is in one database.

  ### 40. Favorite Recruiting Software to Use and Experience

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday is hands-down my favorite recruiting software/internal job board I have experienced. From the company side, workday has a professional interface that is very user-friendly and allows companies to stay up-to-date on candidates both internally and externally. From the applicant side, Workday is always a relief to see. It is simple and straightforward (unlike some of those convoluted application boards I have come across frequently in various job searches). I also liked the ability to have some parts of any previous application carried over to another application at the same company. Big time saver on both corporate and applicant side.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

As an outside applicant, I found myself wishing that one Workday account/application would carry over between companies like an account of your own instead of separate accounts between companies (kind of like a LihnkedIn account), but not a big deal. From the company perspective, the ease of use was wonderful.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

If you're looking for a consistent, adaptable, and user-friendly user software, you will not be disappointed. I rarely (if ever) have experienced glitches with the software from a user POV, so I definitely recommend looking into this product to see if it fits in with your company's needs.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compilation of job postings into one straightforward platform and having the application process synchronized across departments. It also allows us to email internal employees to give them early access to the job posting internally either for themselves or to refer others within their network.

  ### 41. Great referrals are here1

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick S. | Manager, Customer Success, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I like how easy it is to refer outside hires from the system. Multiple ways to do it and send them the link as well as put it to your network!

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

I wish it was a bit more granular in terms of tracking the referral. I wish I could see the internal status' in more detail.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Referrals increase within the company and it costs less to hire when the candidates come to us!

  ### 42. Clear and directive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

There are very few tabs to click on, it’s labeled clearly and it it is very user friendly.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

That is doesn’t identify lateral moves as anyone other than a demotion.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It only populates one career path for you rather than showing multiple options

  ### 43. I love the last update of WorkDay website

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I love that they reorganized all the buttons on the website and not it is really easy to find pay, time, and payment elections.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Sometimes I go to the old URL and the whole website gets messed up. It is nice that they updated the website, however, they should do some kind of redirection for that.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing time of employees, submitting it and approving it in the system.

  ### 44. Workday Recruiting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

I like that its an easy way to keep track of your candidates that are in the loop and what stage that are at in the process. I think it helps keep more people on the same page.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Sometimes it is too many steps when a candidate is applying. I know we can choose the process but sometimes too many steps you start losing people.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to solve filling more internal positions more efficiently. I have realized that we are more on the same page where we don't have to consistently be asking where certain people are in the process and just know by looking them up.

  ### 45. Workday recruiting does a satisfactory job for Talent acquisition

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

Workday recruiting finally gets rid of the excel sheet tracking and captures all the details that were previously collected & remained with each person on the candidate journey.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

The UI is a bit too fancy or in other words feels a bit heavy. I primarily use it on web.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Recruiting:**

If you are still fiddling with excel sheets, then you need to consider workday recruiting.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Essentially testing out the workday solution for recruiting to see how that stacks up against our internal system.
