Workday Recruiting offers a standard workflow with multiple safety guardrails. It may be a great fit for very large organisations. We can also customise it to suit our company’s needs.

Workday Recruiting feels outdated, and its features aren’t consistent across the product. It also lacks ease of use, which makes everyday tasks more difficult than they should be. As a result, recruiters end up wasting a lot of time on manual work.

Prolly the goat of em softwares out there! I can still remember when we were just starting and workday was the one we signed up with! Such a plausible partner! Love everything about it!

All of out problems really! They've been saving our asses for a few years now! Never had problems location the files new hires have sent! Not to mention they also give options for trainings and attendance!

Workday turns on features. If you miss the information before the new release, it could have a negative impact on your system setup. After you go live with Workday, you can forget customer support. You have to pay a consultant to help you.

I like the simplicity of Workday. Workday allows you to automate various processes that reduces time. We have multiple systems integrated with Workday to reduce working in various systems.

Workday is a very user friendly platform that allows the users to easily and quickly find their reqs, candidates, and do boolean searches of the existing applicants

It is a great product, but being that it has a tremendous amount of resources and manpower, it is a more expensive solution out in the market versus other providers.

Workday is a full service provision from candidate front end application and experience, to job posting and marketing externally (including linkedin and indeed)

Workday Recruiting tool is a userfriendly tool and everyone can understand and use it easily. It's more suitable medium to small scale organizations and its a less expensive tool compare to market competitors.

We can find many flaws while using Workday Recruiting. I can address its ancientway of representating its GUI , some options and functionalities need to be add for better performance and its slow response.

I am trying to recruit to my team. I am not a recruiter but a data scientist.

1. slow response
2. you cannot change funnel steps
3. you cannot add tags
4. you cannot rank or order candidates by order of preference
5. you cannot search by keyword in CV
6. ugly 90's UI
7. going over tens of CV and ranking them is a nightmare
8. @mentioning someone is so slow and non automatic
9. Filtering fileds is the most non intuitive ux I have ever seen.

currently it does not solve me anything, it just slows me down and make me work hard on filtering candidates.

There are a number of features that were not available to me regarding job postings, as compared to competing software.

Workday is our system for payroll as well as other internal needs, so we utilize it for recruiting as well.  It does make onboarding easier.

The best thing I like in workdsy recruiting that is it's user interface. Which is easy to use. I used this application and website couple of times and find that.

There is couple of things that we can say reason to dislike. It's user interface need to be updated. There should be some more tools and options for use. It is limited.

I don't have many positives to say about this platform. Workday is a GREAT program, but this part of it is not so stellar.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

It looks like a developer created the entire background of the site but not one ever created a UI. It is super wonky and hard to use. You have to remember certain combinations of numbers and letters to be able to get to certain spots on the site. You can drag and drop a window of a candidate onto a window of a candidate with the exact same info. It's just too much and unnecessary.

None, We did not go with this product due to how wonky it is.

I like that we are in a fully integrated platform that removes complexities, provides the team member with familiarity as soon as they start and supports a fully integrated data analysis and reporting.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Internal applicants do not have the same user experience because the site it built as a report and they are different facets than an external site.  Reapply configuration is limited.

We had previously implemented HCM and a separate ATS, this created a reporting challenge because we couldn't produce any application through retirement reports because the data reference ids couldn't be joined.  Now we have all of that in one tool, so from marketing to retiring we can produce data and get a better understanding of where the journeys for our candidates through retirees look like.

Autofill all the details from the resume once a candidate uploads the copy. It saves time and reduces the frustration of repetitive tasks. Ina way, autofill feature helps candidate, and people would love it

All the information is not captured in the correct tabs from the resume copy upload all the time. At times, it mixes the data from different lines and loses the original meaning, which the candidate may have to rework.

It is beneficial for a recruiter to use the 'Workday' tool to hold all the applicant candidates' databases, and data retrieval would be easy. All the information is at fingertips.

This platform works pretty well. It posts both internally and externally and tracks all the things needed for an affirmative action plan.  I actually like this except for the lengthy internal approval process.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

The internal approval process is ridiculous but it could just be my organization. I also don't like having to back track to see my next candidate. That is an extra step that isn't needed.

The best feature I like most is the candidate's data in the Funnel format.

I especially love the Anniversary/Birthday reminders for my team.  One less thing to keep track with.  I've been using Workday for just over 3 years now and I love it now more than ever.  Much more user friendly.

I can't think of anything that I dislike anymore since we recently updated Workday.

Reminders for my team; Easier to search for open REQs; the integration with Hiredscore is amazing.  All of these recent updates have given me time back during my day.  It's taking me half as long as it used to.

I like how I can see all of my candidates all in one window. I like how it remembers my filters when I go back into the req. I like how it's an HCM so everything is connected to payroll and onboarding. I like how I can send candidates a link to apply and move them into other reqs.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

It's clunky when it comes to dispositioning candidates and sending messages. I don't like the offer process, it's too many steps. In addition, there is not spot to put recruiter screen info. My candidates also have a hard time inputting additional documents into their profile after the apply.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it as the HCM so it solves the problem of needing seperate softwares to speak to each other. I like how the hiring managers have to 'move forward' and I can still have access to sending auto messages or not.

Workday recruiting is a great platform for any size business to help manage their talent pipeline and the health of their data. Additionally, workday recruiting is fantastic when it comes to onboarding new hires.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

There is not much to dislike about Workday recruiting. If there was one thing to point out, it would be to increase the visibility of critical recruiting pipeline data.

Workday Recruiting is solving our scalability issue when it comes to the ease of onboarding new hires. We are hiring 100s of people a month and the onboarding process is critical to our success.

It is a good tool to have all the employees of a company identified and to follow up on the documentation and important material. Likewise, it provides courses such as security which are useful and that the entire company has to take.


**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

The design can certainly improve, making it more visually aesthetic. Also sometimes when marking the notifications they are not marked and emails from pending courses arrive again, so improving a good user experience would be ideal.

It is benefiting us to have control of the employees where we know important information such as salaries, location, direct manager, etc. The quality of onboarding has increased thanks to good employee management at Workday.

If implemented correctly having a single HCM tool should be beneficial for consistant data.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

After having implemented over 30 ATS's Workday is by far the worst. In the basis Workday is an HR ADMIN tool, suitable to manage employees. Recruitment is a completely different ballgame. Hiring manager /recruiter cooperation is useless (impossible to present candidates to HM, useless for reviews), horrible Candidate experience (logins, multipage apply forms, etc). **What do you like best about Workday Recruiting?**

If you are using Workday HCM then having Workday Recruiting is an obvious choice for managing applicant pipeline and pre-hire diligence. It is particularly useful having candidate/prehire profiles link with employee profiles. I found it advantageous to replicate our employee diversity tracking within the Workday Recruiting platform for all applicants. It enabled us to proactively report on and influence diversity within recruiting. But the best feature is the direct link with Workday HCM.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

The main thing that I disliked about Workday Recruiting was the user interface. Workday has always been better at what it does than how it looks. For users, I have always considered this a non-issue. But for applicants I think having a strong, clear, and 'friendly' UI makes a huge difference in encouraging people to complete their applications. In my experience, applicants can be put off applying by this simplest of things.

If you are already using Workday as your HCM, there is no better option for recruiting than the Workday recruiting module. It was a fairly seamless integration and once up and running, it is extremely easy to use for both the HR / Recruiting team and hiring managers.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

It was a lot of work to get all of the job descriptions loaded, but that is because we are a young company. If you have well-established roles, this won't be an issue.

Seamless integration with Workday (everything in one system). Hiring managers are already familiar with Workday, so it is easy for them to use when they have open roles.

The setup and flow are not user-friendly.   The established workflow is frustrating and requires you to select steps you may not complete but must check the box to proceed.  Have missed pages of resumes as the design requires a click-thru versus proving the entire document view (scrollable).

There is a learning curve, once you train the users, this is a great system. Not many complaints at this time. We need to depend a lot on the consultants in the begining till few years.

There is nothing I like about this platform for recruiting.

How much time do you have?  Full disclosure, we use the "Position Management" model in Workday Recruiting.  That has a lot to do with the sentiments below.
Workday Recruiting is a black hole into which all ease, process, progress, structure, and general wellbeing get sucked in.  For our team, nothing is able to happen without an admin pushing it through.  Each task is dependent upon a million other elements and sometimes it's just difficult to have all that information from the organization so for a new recruiter coming in, assimilating to this platform is painful.
There is no UI to speak of so it's very difficult to navigate visually.
To get pieces of information related to the candidate or job requisition, multiple clicks are required to navigate to vastly different parts of the platform, only then to have to go back to your original candidate profile page.  Using this platform is exhausting and requires all of a person's willpower.

Workday touts that the system is customizable but this is a bug not a feature.  It's so customizable that unless you take care of every aspect and module, nothing will actually work.

It only creates more problems and there are no benefits.

I particularly like the streamlined navigation to review candidates and the different stages of your recruitment process.  Others have been clunky, and since we use Workday for everything, this tool is fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

Some of the split-screen views are not ideal if you have a smaller screen.  It's a nitpick, but I would prefer a bit more customization to the panel views.  All the info is there, but oin some panes you have to scroll a a little too much for your info.  I recognize this might be my institution's default, but we require a lot of column data so not sure there is a way around it.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great tool to assist with EEO.  You have the entire applicant pool in one place, and you can easily annotate each candidate and why they were not advanced to the next recruitment phase.  Great for our HR folks to audit us and ensure we are following EEO guidelines.

I don't like much with this program. However, I can say I like that the program will display current job openings the company has. I actually preferred the previous program because the navigation was more straightforward.

Or the user must have the correct keywords provided by the developer since each company can customize their program software.

Workday offers a multitude of resources when looking to create and fill a requisition. The process is laid out very well, especially for individuals who have never had to complete this process before. The system is logical and provides helpful tips; it will also connect you with an individual for further assistance.

**What do you dislike about Workday Recruiting?**

While the system is very efficient as a whole, there have been times in which completing a requisition has been a little more difficult. There were sometimes options available which I had never seen before, such as Evergreen. This was not a frequent occurrence and was resolved swiftly.

**What problems is Workday Recruiting solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previous systems had allowed for requisitions to be completed, but Workday has really streamlined the process. It is very easy to create a requisition for both internal and external candidates. It is also easy to review anyone who has applied, and also communicate with your HR team to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Getting into the nitty gritty of individual job reqs can be a little overwhelming at times and I'm not sure all the information included is really necessary. I'd like a more streamlined look for the candidate application section.

Workday recruiting is not built with much thought regarding recruiter engagement.  It requires an excessive amount of clicks for almost any transaction. There is little flexibility to address company needs or changes in the market. The reporting interface is unwieldy and does not connect data that would be beneficial to have connected.  For example, job data and candidate data.

I am no longer using the tool, but as a recruitment leader, I wanted Workday to help save recruiters' time while tracking all relevant data.  It did the latter well, but not the former.
