## Workday Learning Reviews
  ### 1. Seamless, Personalized Learning Built Right Into Workday

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mykyta M. | Assistant Store Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

What I like most about Workday Learning is how integrated and personalized it is.

* Built into Workday → no switching systems; learning connects directly to roles, performance, and career growth
* Personalized recommendations → training is tailored based on skills, role, and goals
* Learning in the flow of work → it feels like part of the job, not a separate tas

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

What I dislike about Workday Learning:

* Steep learning curve — takes time and training to use effectively
* Complex setup & admin-heavy — implementation and management can be resource-intensive
* Expensive — pricing and rollout costs can be high
* Limited flexibility/content — less dynamic and customizable than some modern learning platforms

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday Learning mainly solves disconnected, outdated, and hard-to-track employee training.

Problems → Benefits for you:

* Scattered learning systems
→ Everything is in one platform, easier to access and manage
* Low engagement with training
→ Personalized, relevant content keeps learning useful and continuous
* Skill gaps & slow development
→ AI-driven recommendations help you grow skills faster
* No visibility on progress/compliance
    → Real-time tracking shows what’s done and what’s missing

  ### 2. Simple to Set Up, but Custom Training Creation Can Be Tricky

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Very simple and straightforward, easy to set it up and maintain as an admin. We can easily assign courses and set it up so new hires get specific trainings as necessary when they start at the company

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

It almost feels too simple. We struggled at times to add custom trainings and courses. We wanted to build different types of trainings outside of just watching videos. We are struggling to get the proper level of engagement currently.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since Workday is already our source of truth, it is helpful to have it all in the same system and easily accessible for workers. It also makes it easy to incorporate new hire information and updated employee information. Reporting is also easy since it's in the system and makes it easier than our previous system.

  ### 3. Convenient, All-in-One App with Spot-On Audit Trails

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ender Efe C. | Laboratory Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Very convenient: one login, one app, and no hassle. It’s hard to miss a deadline, and the audit trails are spot-on.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Technical content: It’s mostly general corporate training material, and for any “real” science content it seems to require external uploads.

User Interface: The UI looks nice overall, but it can feel click-heavy and frustrating to navigate.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday Learning is a fantastic compliance engine, but only a mediocre knowledge base. It’s great for making sure you don’t get in trouble with HR or OSHA, yet it’s rarely the place you’ll actually go to “learn” the cutting-edge science you need for your next breakthrough.

  ### 4. excellent tool for guided learning

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** chris w. | Service Delivery Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

As a manager i can make it mandatory for my team with clear due dates. The learning also states what is required and recommended for all staff

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

some courses need to be booked and the timings can be hard for the team to make when on shift

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

with an ever changing landscape we required our team to become hot works APs and we set required training to be completed to give a great base knowledge in order to assist with the role

  ### 5. Great for Rolling Out and Tracking Employee Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Food Production | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Great place to roll out and track training required of employees

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Not much - it would be nice if it gave reminders that training is due before deadline.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping up with required trainings.

  ### 6. Effortless Course Access and Seamless Navigation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joslyn K. | Licensed Insurance Agent, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

So easy!!! You can pick up where you left off from a course or find a course you need to start right there on the home page.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Finding a course by name is so difficult!

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can always find something I need or want to know. The course lists are so easy to navigate!

  ### 7. Doesn’t quite hit the mark

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trevor P. | Workday Learning Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Simple end user interface, guided learning prompts for programs and multilessson courses, and the video editing tool.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

It seems like workday just used other functions that already existed and threw them together to make this module (ahem- campaigns). Calling documents and videos a lesson, but courses also have lessons which aren't the same thing is beyond confusing. Reporting completion for a course that is delivered via campaigns and also directly assigned is impossible in one report since they are from two completely separate business objects which cannot easily be connected. Localizing content is not an option in a single content object, you have to create multiple courses for the different languages and then good luck assigning that out to a global audience, tracking it, making sure you don't assign someone the wrong language since they won't have a choice, and then report completion on audits- not possible. Workday security is great, until it's applied to learning, since training functions rarely align to the organizations. Oh, and SCORM 1.2 is compatible, but not compliant.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think peer learning has great potential, but they are investing way to much in that being the next revolution in corporate learning (which it is) and trying to skip the needed foundations of an lms before getting there. That is going to impede them from seeing peer learning be able to take off since the businesses are struggling to manage their own content and the infrastructure required to manage peer learning would be far more complex than what workday is considering

  ### 8. Document, Collaborate, Project Management, Tracking at one place

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raviraja M. | Internal Auditor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Workday Enterprise Learning It is one of the best user-friendly, which allows you to learn, achieve skills without hassle. we can develop the skills needed to do the best work

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Workday is overly simplified and seems basic compared to other platforms on the market. The feature of learning new skills and technology is still relatively new to the Workday suite and has fewer features than you would expect.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Learning:**

Workday Enterprise Learning looks basic and oversimplified. It can be developed in a way that is more attractive and more attractive to the users.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a user of Workday Enterprise learning, it helps me to choose a learning path that recommends training and assessments based on my interests and requirements. Courses are easy to customize with the ability to upload various document files, videos, and surveys.

  ### 9. Simplify your Enterprise Learning!!!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lori H. | Sales Training & Development, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Anyone can create content, its so easy and looks professional and is simple to digest.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Naming conventions are not standard; you will have to convert to the "workday" terms.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can create bite-size training and microbursts of information that needs to get out to the field asap

  ### 10. Workday Learning

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

The variety of work related topics that are offered. Also the varied length and learning methods used. The bedroom format is easy to use and understand.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Not all courses have a test at the conclusion and it would be more beneficial if there were considering the time and effort put into it.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning team building skills, and leadership skills will help me to advance in my organization. In fact this has already proven very advantageous for my career.

  ### 11. Workday enterprise learning solution

**Reviewed by:** Erwin W. | Training Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Easy and user friendly.
As a Training Manager, easy to monitor the learning activity and progress

Dislike when open using smartphone, maybe I am normally open it using pc or laptop

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Learning:**

Using personal computer or laptop to access so it can make enjoy learning.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have no problem so far.

  ### 12. Functional as Your Workday

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jordan C. | Assistant Pastor, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Workday is really easy to navigate, and I like the availability of all my paper documents online in a cloud-based server.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

I don't like how you cant use the back button to get to a previous screen, that I will reset your entire session.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use workday to input our hours worked as well as submitting time off. This makes it seamless to get to my supervisors.

  ### 13. All of the crew adjusted to workday wonderfully

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Debra L. | Sales, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

I could never be more than happy with the ease of use

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

My computer not remembering my username and password. Having to log in every 10 minutes.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am now able to learn from the comfort of my home which is ironically important during this COVID-19 PANDEMIC.

  ### 14. Workday eLearning Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Ties into the overall Workday, managers can assign modules as well.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Reviewing all the modules available can be hard to find.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Learning:**

Try it out, it’s worth it!

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using this as an e-learning module.

  ### 15. Smarter vs Harder

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2019

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

All the training modules are in one online repository. You can pause a course and go back later and pick it back up.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

It can be a clunky logging in and the system sometimes doesn't register your completed courses in the repository so it's important to keep your completion certificates.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Learning:**

Nice platform if you can afford it.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy to use one stop shop for training across the enterprise.

  ### 16. Helpful but Hard to Navigate Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

I like the concept for the platform Workday provides - everything is there in one place. I also like how the software tells you action items that you need to complete. This aspect of the product is the most helpful and intuitive to me - especially because of the badge icon that is provided when something needs to be done.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Although I like the concept for it, I dislike actually using Workday. It seems like there are 100 different pages to go back and forth to every second, and it is just not set up in an intuitive way.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Learning:**

I would still recommend to implement this product. However, I would suggest training your employees on how to use it beforehand, or at the least, provide some basic instructions for the task at hand. This software gets the job done, but not with immense ease. It has the potential to be a lot more intuitive and easy to use.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday helps the on-borading process within business immensely, which was the capacity I used it in largely. It is tough to direct new hires to a place to complete the necessary forms and signatures, especially when there are hundreds at once, and this solves that issue.

  ### 17. Too many screen click-throughs

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diana G. | Interview Skill Teacher, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

I like that you can input the times you worked on a particular day for one week at a time.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

There isn't a way to stay at p.m. on the same day from week to week. I have to manually change it every week. There are too many click-through pages to get times submitted. Using This week and Last week can be confusing depending on when you access the site and when working if you want to enter early or late.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Learning:**

I like the idea, but the layout can be confusing. The dates of the week may not correlate with the This Week and Last Week options. The quick add does not. I think there should be a way to add a weekly set schedule.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Submitting work times through electronic documents rather than paper documents.

  ### 18. New to Workday, User-Friendly

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

I just started using Workday a couple of months ago, and I use it on a daily basis. Although I hadn’t had any previous experience with the software, it is easy to learn and very user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

It takes a little longer than I would expect for the different pages to load, but that might have to do with the security.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main reasons that I use Workday is to access and update employer-provided benefits and for tracking hours worked. I like the structure and functionality of the site, it makes these tasks more efficient.

  ### 19. Workday Enterprise Learning Survey

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Workday Enterprise Learning is a cloud base data system that helps to contribute to all the financial assets for the company. This systems helps to organize any financial capital to human resources employee needs. The system is user friendly and easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

One feature in particular that I didn't like was with cancelling time off requests. You basically have to submit a new request to counteract the request. If you just need to edit something it's a very mundane task to complete.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The benefit to keep the office organize through this cloud base data has been great for the productivity and efficiency of the company. This system adjust to any business size.

  ### 20. Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carolyn K. | CFS, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

I love that it is easy for me to communicate with the people that I need to for what I need in my company.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

To be honest I cannot think of a thing I dislike about it.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is easy to do our finances and figure out travel and vacation time.

  ### 21. It Has Changed Who We Are!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Intuitiveness, ease of use, and the help we got with implementation. We love that we have multiple functions within one system.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Implementation is a bit more complex than most systems so it is good to have someone on your team who has worked with this system, in our opinion. It's great for mid- to large-size companies but small-size can probably find a great solution at a lower cost.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Departments can "talk" to each other and reduce paperwork, errors and redundancy. It makes processing changes so easy. Budgeting has never been easier.

  ### 22. Workday Enterprise Is Not Working!

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

My company just integrated Workday and I have to admit, it's not great!
There's nothing that I like about it so far.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Workday integration was not smooth. Payment information and HR related information is currently missing and very difficult to find. Navigating workday as a whole is not user friendly.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Learning:**

Do a thorough investigation and research before implementing workday.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm assuming the business solution we used previously was outdated so an update was needed. But as right now, I do not see any benefits.

  ### 23. Workday Enterprise Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ahmed F. | Certified Personal Trainer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

The GUI is absolutely fantastic; so easy to scroll between different options and tabs. So smooth.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Nothing worth mentioning, I used it in my previous job and loved it.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organizations, time management, reporting, etc.

  ### 24. WorkDay Enterprise Learning Review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Accounting | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

I like the user friendly nature of the platform. If a platform is no user friendly it makes it difficult to learn from day to day.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

I am pleased with this platform at the moment.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WorkDay makes it easy to complete trainings and earn CPE in conjunction with completing my other daily job functions. I like the save for later feature so I can stop in the middle of a training if necessary.

  ### 25. Workday 1/1

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 28, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Simple, easy to use, very intuitive and easy.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Not much flexibility in the number of things you can do.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reorganizing HR platform with Workday.

  ### 26. Workday is good but takes time

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

It’s a good platform that simplifies tasks and learning for our organization.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

To learn how it works takes time. We had to go through a few weeks of training and some of the older employees still in the process of learning.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are just being able to create a space for learning in our organization and to do our daily work needs. Everyone is on the same page and we don’t have to go anywhere else.

  ### 27. Not at all hard to learn or use.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Workday's interface is pretty easy to use and navigate. I've never had a problem using Workday to complete learning exercises.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

The interface can be somewhat slow-going for a more advanced user.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday Learning:**

Make sure its the right fit for the training needed at your company.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used workday to review business rules and regulations as well as complete training.

  ### 28. The best software for our company

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2018

Easy integration, training, and use. Workflow automation is wonderful.

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Can be glitchy but overall we have not had many issues.

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This software has helped link multiple departments. Accountability for projects and operations has improved.

  ### 29. Workday Enterprise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2018

**What do you like best about Workday Learning?**

Workday can be user friendly once you are familiar with the system

**What do you dislike about Workday Learning?**

Workday is sometimes complicated and you must know the system well to know how to navigate it

**What problems is Workday Learning solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Any HR operational transactions
