**What do you like best about Workday HCM?**

It's reliable, well-designed HR platform that keeps everything in one place. It’s particularly strong for payroll, benefits, and employee self-service, and once you get familiar with the layout, it becomes easy to handle day-to-day HR tasks. Overall, it’s a solid system that does what it’s supposed to do and supports the core HR needs without unnecessary hassle.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Some tasks take more clicks than expected, and the interface isn’t always intuitive for new or infrequent users. Reporting and customization can also feel limited without admin access or extra training.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday HCM solves the problem of having HR info spread across different systems. For me, it’s helpful because everything I need, pay info, time off, and personal details; is in one place, which saves time and avoids confusion.

It's easy to use, I can check my schedule, ask for permision, hokidays that my manager can see at the moment, and I can also see my organization in a simply way.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Maybe the interface can sometimes improve, it's quite easy to use but can be better or more atractive. I fancy nsome issues sometimetis introducing leave hours in the system.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I see thay expecially useful for HR users, even if it is also for agent users expecially to check the calendar, my holidays, and check if ther are approved or not.

My organization has been using Workday for many years and it's been fantastic. It's very easy to navigate and well organized. A straightforward ui experience.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Sometimes the two step verification process can be a pain when you need to update your password. However, security is important when person information needs to be protected.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Workday to keep track of employee pto and benefits. In addition we also use it to track career progression. Our 3rd party partners have profiles with limited access.

I like that Workday HCM is fast and intuitive, which helps in managing the whole HR function with a limited staff. It effectively automates processes that were previously mostly done manually. As our company grows, it supports all the requirements while maintaining a streamlined function. Our IT team reported that there weren't many issues during the setup.

I find Workday HCM very useful for managing the entire workforce lifecycle. It helps me automate the entire process of hiring, onboarding, ELC, and performance management. The features I like the most are global payroll and compliance, which handle the entire payroll process for me, and the talent management suite, which is particularly helpful for performance management.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Sometimes usage might be complex. Many clicks are required for simple tasks, and sometimes complex words are used.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday HCM helps me manage the workforce lifecycle with a maintained employee database, automates hiring, onboarding, and performance management, and the global payroll system and talent management suite are key for handling processes and managing performance.

Workday HCM helps us keep everything we use on a daily basis in one simple location. For the price, it does things that our previous software couldn't.

Sometimes Workday HCM can be a little redundant, or difficult to use. At times, it does feel like it takes the long way around  to achieve simple results.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday HCM is merging payroll, Human Resources, scheduling, and even talent profiles into one streamlined dashboard. It saves us time making phone calls and pulling files ect.

It was a little antiquated when I used it. That was several years back.  I like how it interfaces with every aspect of an employees profile. It makes onboarding a breeze. I don't know much about UI/UX but our tech team seemed to like it. It integrates well with our other platforms. Never had any performance issues.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

The interface is boring. If people need to log-on often it should be more visually appealing and exciting. I think AI could help with this. Given the pricing it should be better.

Workday helps us take good care of our employees while keeping their information safe and protected. It’s user-friendly, and updates happen in real time, which employees really appreciate.

One of the best employee management tools for onboarding, time off, and profile management. The UI, integrations, and customer support are all strong. Its intuitive interface makes it easy to use and explore.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Sometimes the options don’t render properly on mobile devices, and the application can feel a bit flaky. Aside from that, there isn’t much else for me to dislike—it’s mostly helpful overall.

Employee management, employee time off, employee profile management, and employee onboarding are all seamless. The UI is very simple, easy to understand, and straightforward to navigate.

I like that Workday HCM has a very nice user interface that lays out step by step to go through common processes, so I don't have to ensure I'm doing the right steps in the correct order. It helps me organize what I need to do all in one place.

There is some slightly confusing app choices inside the system. I find myself trying to hunt down the correct app to pull up to get to what I need to do. But it is a minor complaint.

It is a full feature packed application with everything you want in it. It is very secure and unique to each company. The application works well in both large and small screens.

It’s a fully featured, packed application, and it’s great at what it does. However, that strength can also be a drawback: at times it feels cluttered and becomes hard to use.

It helps keep the HR hiring process separate and secure, while still being very easy and intuitive to use. Because it feels consistent across many companies that use it, I’m more confident that my data is secure and that I can use the app intuitively.

**What do you like best about Workday HCM?**

This platform offers a wide range of features for managing employees, such as reviewing and monitoring absences and expense requests, enrolling staff in training courses and tracking their progress, as well as setting up career goals to support their personal development.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Although Workday offers a wide range of flexible options, I often find it confusing to locate what I need. Information is sometimes buried too deeply within submenus or hidden in reports that you have to request separately, which makes the experience less smooth, especially for managers overseeing large teams. The UI/UX is definitely a weak point and has significant room for improvement.

While there have been some recent updates to the user interface on individual team member profiles, I feel that more enhancements are still necessary.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workday to handle all my team members' personal information and requests, such as absence and expense submissions. Additionally, I rely on it to monitor and evaluate their performance each year, as well as to set goals for them to achieve and work towards. Workday is also the tool we use to manage compensation changes following our annual performance reviews.

It’s intuitive, scalable, and highly customizable. Definitely enjoy using it and all of the included features. Implementation went well and time tracking works great.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Overall the system works great and is easy to use. Most importantly, our employees have no issue using it either which is a big plus. It’s something we expect to continue using long term.

Time tracking, applicant tracking, payroll integration, training, and learning management. Our payroll integration works as expected and was a large reason we got it.

It helps manage hiring processes, organizational structures, and job profiles. It also tracks employee performance and streamlines payroll and benefits administration across multiple regions.

Costs are significantly higher than competitor platforms. Finding specific settings or reports often requires using the exact terminology, and building custom, advanced reports takes specialized technical training.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has shifted my daily workflow from administrative paper-chasing to more strategic, data-driven workforce planning. I can track an individual from their first job application, through onboarding checklists, into annual goal setting, and on to succession planning. This makes it easier to actively develop internal talent and curb turnover.

Having all your HR needs in one platform is nice. Not needing to have mulitple systems and re-entering data makes me more effecient. The recruitment module can also link to other jobs boards to make posting jobs easier.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

When I was first  learning the flow of the recruitment module, I did not find it to be easy. It is easy after you understand it, but it took time to learn in.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It took away the need to have multiple systems. With Workday, I was able to have a built in Applicant Tracking System and also run background checks seamlessly.

New features and new integrations can be tough and generally require a third party os SME.

The ease of applying for a job and how I can track my applications of whether it is submitted and in which stage it is in. Also, how I can parse my resume to add the pointers directly

The autofill using resume feature doesn’t work well usually. It is difficult to parse my resume and add the relevant information when workday automatically fills in the wrong information. I have to edit and change all the fields

For new learners can be a little challenging to learn how to best use the system. But in general with practice it all makes sense in the end and the system becomes familiar

It is a collective platform for all HR related activities ranging from learning recruitment profile compensation details makes it easy to work with it also has one of the best interfaces which is user friendly

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Nothing major overall. I’ve run into an issue with customising reports, since it requires technical knowledge and isn’t as flexible as some BI tools. Also, the portal can be slow at times.

It’s fast and easy to use I enjoy it for work I love how it details things nice in the app so it’s not confusing

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Sometimes I can’t download pdfs I don’t like that so I have to reach out to other sources and sometimes it takes longer and that’s inconvenient if I can just download it through the app

Nothing I think it could use some updating like for downloading pages this is a big thing that needs to be fixed

This helps when I need to reach out to people as it ensures I contact the right person. I also found the initial setup to be instant, which was a nice surprise.

I love how easy it is to adjust the time clock and access my pay stubs. I can log in and find my pay stubs in under two minutes. It’s also just as simple to access my W-2s when I need them.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

I don't like how many security questions there is and how hard it is to recover your account if you forgot your password or username. They make it very hard to log in.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday is making it very easy to manage my time clock, get access to my paystubs, and get access to my W2's for taxes. I like the auto-log in feature as well.

The dynamic/flexibility in the business process flow and Reporting is great.
The integration features (whether EIB, Core Connector or Custom) is also great. Among all the HCM software that I had used, Workday is one of the HCM at which it provide great features to integrate with 3rd Party Application.
Navigation is user friendly.
The software is frequently update to enhance security and to deliver the latest features (especially AI related features).
The knowledge of the customer service representative is very great and they able to fix all my issue.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

RaaS is currently not available for Matrix Report, which will be a great features if Matrix Report can be exported via RaaS.
Some Task's UI is not customizable to fulfill the business needs.

Before using Workday, I always deal with the source data that's not centralize and also the data having difference format for each country that we are currently operating. By implementing Workday, my accompany can standardize how the data been stored and this make the process of creating report easy.
At the same time, synchronize data for 3rd party application is also one of the huge issue that I manage to resolved by using  Workday. Previously, every time there's changes  in employee data, HR need to manually update the data on all HR/IT Application. By connecting all the application to Workday and make Workday as Source of truth, then one update in Workday will trigger an automatic update to the rest of the applications data.

Consolidating our data but allowing us to see where the gaps are and how do we address this? Where do our processes fall down?
