**What do you like best about Workday HCM?**

Worday is easy to use software which covers a wide range of human capital management functions. Workday HCM offers a very friendly analytics on data . We can get to know valuable insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize workforce management strategies.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Worday is not very much customisable software . It sometimes fails in integrating with other softwares also. Also there are occasional system glitches. Would like to see improvement in the UI

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday provides a centralized platfor for managing almost all HR functions which is very good. It provides various insights and analytics into employees preferances which enables in better descision making.

Its interface is straightforward and easily understood; we can easily apply leaves, update year-end reviews, and ask for teammates' reviews. We can also see company benifits and compensations.

Pretty much everything is very much helpful, but sometimes the notification is a little delayed, which is not a big issue, other than this, everything is awesome

Workday conveniently houses a lot of the everyday tools, files, handbooks etc. that you might need in your day-to-day life in one place.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Workday is a little bit difficult to navigate. It can be challenging to find particular documents or pages if you don't know where they're located already. Workday would benefit from a more comprehensive search function.

**What do you like best about Workday HCM?**

User friendly UI and easy to understand options allow one to explore different options with much easy. The creation of reports is very interesting, for any given Sup org. Establishing calculated fields for a specific path function is a feature which is the hook for me.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

When exploring different paths on the tool, the undo option is very limited on the functions. This does create scope of iteration of the entire work, which can be tedious.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am currently pursuing my career with Workday. I have just completed my training on the tool and it just is very interesting tool. On this I can understand how an entire organisation works, right form establishment of organisation, hiring, payroll, promotions, management, security, exit/termination, FNF benefits settlement etc. I can get a hawk eye view on the entire business processes.

Workday is very user-friendly and has a simplified interface. Searching facility is such a blessing as due to so many categories, looking for something specific like Feedback received can be easily accessed via search.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

The input field where we write about our performance review is not up to the mark, when I try to paste something, the spaces are not properly aligned.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Workday, I can easily view my performance feedback, send feedback requests, set my yearly goals, view my leave balance, and apply for leave. All these things I can do in one place are such a blessing.

**What do you like best about Workday HCM?**

It does most things decently. It has an attractive and easily navigable interface.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Buggy, convoluted. When a process is occurring it has you wait and then sends a completion notification later. What?! It's like a pretty interface was built onto software from the 1990s. When I am entering hours, if I switch the topic of those hours, it deletes any data on the form to start fresh. Super annoying if you are working on multiple projects. There is not even a place for me to submit feedback to Workday.

I just know that Workday does not care about my our other employee's experience. They just care about impressing the business, their true customers. It makes for a lame product.

The most I have used Workday for is to claim expenses for travel. The user interface of Workday though, is incredibly easy to utilize.

The only thing with Workday that has been mildly confusing is the number of fields possible.

It makes approving employee times easy from a computer. Its easy to enter your own time and submit.

I dont like that you can't see employee times from your phone. It just gives you the total hours they worked.

I like that it is easy to do all things in one place. I can put in time off, check my paycheck, and put in any requests necessary as an employee every day. Compared to other companies I really like Workday the best.

The one thing I don't like about Workday is it can be hard to update information. Sometimes I do that, and it doesn't show I have completed the task yet. Otherwise, it is excellent.

It is solving my questions regarding when I will get paid, if any assignments are due, and whether I need to put in PTO to ensure I get that time off for my next vacation.

**What do you like best about Workday HCM?**

If you are familiar with Workday then Workday HCM will be a breeze. Why? Its the expanded user friendly version of the self servicing workplace platform that you already use within your organization. Workday HCM is the upgraded version of the common singular Workday platform that is known by all but with Workday HCM is a one-stop software comprised of useful tool for training, workplace development, new employee onboarding, recruiting time off, employee pay rate and benchmarking, payroll and employee benefits. Lastly, its mobile interface allows you to work on the go.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Workday HCM like Workday has so many features that is not readily used by all The one stop stop solutions software interface page is essentially the same for everyone but not everyone will use all of the features. Additionally even though I  can see my pay rate and employee hierarchy chart, employee pay and paystubs are processed through a different platform like ADP.

**Recommendations to others considering Workday HCM:**

If you are familiar with Workday then  Workday HCM is an necessary upgrade for anyone who wants to unlock their workplace potential. This is an HR dream all-in-one software platform  that takes no time to learn the in/outs of using.  You are able to integrate all of your work into one seamless system which definitely increase HR productivity.

**What problems is Workday HCM solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workday HCM allows any business to expand and grow as the organization grows. The capability is infinite. With their easy-to-use interface anyone from HR or a Head of Department can easily access and pull employee information when needed in order to provide insight into their pay or whatever data is your are seeking. More importantly, it open the capabilities for HR staff to be effective at their job - from creating new entries for time off to compiling most used benefits.

I like that everything integrates with Workday. It makes data management and flow so much easier to manage. I would highley recommend workday for larger growing orgs

I miss the customizability that we had with smaller HRIS's. While solving the issue of having too many systems, it does have many draw backs in functionality and fields.

We had too many different systems with duplicated information. Workday was our solution to condense system complexity and usage. Overall, it has helped with the duplicated information issue.

Sometimes Workday's implementation and integration processes can be complex and time-consuming. Additionally, the complex reporting could cause performance issues. It needs to do better fo performance optimization for reports.

Primarily human resources processes, payroll, and planning modules offer features such as advanced reporting and analytics, customizable workflows, mobile accessibility, and integrations with other business systems. By using Workday, we are able to do performance management and various other core HR processes.

What I like best about Workday is how user-friendly and self-explanatory it is. Whether it be utilized by Human Resources or the employee, it is easy to navigate and keep records of everyones information and documents.

What I dislike about Workday is how it could be too detailed. The user can use many options and pages, but it could be more consolidated. Also, I dislike how it is not customizable.

Workday HCM has all the pieces of employee management you would want - onboarding (payroll, employment verification, legal, etc.), offboarding (account management, equipment retrieval, deprovisioning, etc.), templates, performance reviews and feedback, integration with learning and development software, integration with compliance software, and an applicant tracking system.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

It's not the most intuitive system for finding where all these different employee management tools are. It's also not the most visually appealing, and things can sometimes be challenging to navigate. It could be much simpler to pick up, but some googling is needed.

Workday HCM is helping us understand how to manage our employees, their development and learning, and their career paths in a more structured and organized manner.

I cansee benefits, paystubs, benefits, quarterly goals, expense reports all in one app. I don't have to access multiple apps and there are status trackers for everything. I

It would be helpful if there was a way to automate some expenses or make it easier to create templates. Lots of functionality but you have to click through to understand.

It consolidates a lot of services into one app so it's easier to find information and has a standardized layout and form so I know where to find things instead of having to access multiple apps and memorize their information architecture.

It is very user-friendly & intuitive to use. Simple process to follow without any hassle.

I have not noticed anything that could be disliked.

I currently use Workday for Performance Management, Absence Management, and Onboarding purposes. It is also integrated with Salesforce & other systems that the users are working on. Their work once submitted  to the other systems is then synced to Workday. Hence avoiding to re-submit the same thing twice. Thus reducing the time & effort required.

The self-approval feature for time off is super smooth and takes the weight off of approval from managers.

No downsides. I have used Workday in 3 organizations and have had no issues.

Some parts of the website are poorly organized to the point that I find myself going on scavenger hunts for certain info.

I like how there are many custom fields that you can create, and it has the ability to create many custom reports as needed for the company.

It is disappointing that despite Adaptive Planning being a Workday product, it still requires manual work to sync the personnel information from Workday into the financial planning software, Adaptive Planning. I wish that Workday would allow the personnel sheets in Adaptive Planning to be in sync at all times.

Workday allows the company to store all sophisticated information that is unique to each department/cost center, and country. I also like how through workday, company can set up chain of approvals that need to go through different leaders.

Workday holds a high and mighty place in the HRIS world, often regarded as one of the best HCM systems out there. There are endless capabilities from this system and a vast, valuable knowledge tied to knowing how to use it. Being able to learn and use such a valuable and complex system is great as an HR professional, and the capabilities of the system is critical to any organization.

**What do you dislike about Workday HCM?**

Even though Workday is often labeled as the "Gold Standard" of HRIS/HCM systems, it is not flawless. It is extremely complex and requires a LOT of knowledge from all users. It is extremely costly and not easy to implement, but, the reward can be great if the right organization is using it. As a medium size company, I find the complexities of the system are unnecessary for us to use, but still necessary for us to know in order to use the system.

Workday is such a powerful HRIS tool that houses a multitude of information and systems for our company. We utilize Workday for HCM, Talent Optimization, People Analytics, and more. Having this all in one place / housed in one system is invaluable!

This software was designed to to a little of everything badly rather than any one thing well. It is convoluted, badly coded (refreshes the page at every change), and makes simple tasks unbearable and practically impossible to accomplish. Do not inflict this software on your employees!

It is trying to be a centralized place for all HR and financial tasks, but winds up making all of those tasks takes more time. In terms of financials, it can't even produce a simple monthly actual for an account. It is utterly useless.
