Workday Financial Management Pros and Cons

After working with the tool for more than two years, I still struggle to navigate to what I'm looking for. The structure and usability do not support me in getting my things done. Without the shortcuts I've saved after finding the most essential features, I would be lost.

In general, Workday's usability is lacking compared to other tools. For example, why do I have to select each day when planning an absence? What I like best about Workday Financial Management is its intuitive and user-friendly interface. It seamlessly integrates various financial processes into one platform, making tasks like budgeting, reporting, and accounting more efficient. One thing I dislike about Workday Financial Management is the complexity of its initial setup and configuration. While the platform is powerful and comprehensive, getting everything customized to fit specific business needs can be time-consuming and requires a good deal of expertise. Workday is an extremely User Friendly and versatile ERP system. With a few upgrades to the base system we've found this to be our one time shop for all things ERP, Consolidated Financials and, HR Platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Workday is one site with in it we have multiple Apps to use, Submitting time sheet is easy way and also Completing the Required training from my learning on time with in due date, able to see compensation data and apprisal history. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can easily manage my cost center using the Adaptive tools, I can monitor the budget, I appreciate that I make edits in projections when needed. I like that this is a very intuitive, easy-to-use system that can be easily integrated with other systems. In Workday, we use various subsystems, like Expense Management, where you can see the end-to-end process of Expense reports with all attachments and audit trails. Also, we use Banking Integraytons, where the team can reconcile all banking transactions with banking feeds loaded from the bank daily. Also, we like that every document can be printed in PDF for audit purposes, and you can see the time stamp when the transaction was completed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As Workday is a cloud-based solution, you need to remember to save drafts of documents (like manual journal entries or so), as if you do not, the system will not save any changes for you, and you will need to re-do everything from the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Workday is one of the best cloud-based employee management portals I have come across. It has one of the easiest to use platform with an amazing user interface. Workday is a complete human resources management system where you can manage employees' personal as well as professional information. I use it minimum 3 times a week.
