Has one of the nicest UI's out of any video editing software I have used, very intuitive. Videos render well and there are lots of video editing features and add-ons you can add to your videos. Allows you to export in a bunch of different formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not as feature rich as more advanced editing software, it's more marketing based. It shines with adding marketing features like text overlays, cool transitions, etc, but not so great to repairing video and audio issues you may have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lightweight video Editing software with built-in libraries Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
obviously it is the best lightweight software but they have Limited libraries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Filmora is designed to be easy to use, which is great when we want to put together video presentations quickly. Most people that I work with can use Filmora effectively. There are automated features that allow us to put together themed videos just by dragging clips and music into the software. The full feature mode allows us to apply effects like video stabilization, which Filmora actually does more smoothly compared to more professional software I've used. The price is also very reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Compared to more advanced software, like Final Cut Pro, Filmora offers far less features and can be somewhat limiting to users that want more control over their edits. Since Filmora was likely designed for quick and simple editing, it doesn't have the breadth of effects and options that allow users to refine videos exactly as they might envision. Also, there aren't as many video export formats as I'd like. We can't always fine tune export settings as precisely as we'd like to match other video projects. The best part about the software is the simplicity of the UI and easy to use and find functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it crashes as of sudden and doesn't support 19:9 Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With this editor I can make videos in less time, I can create excellent and fun titles, has very good transitions and effects that help make a video more fun. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I do not like very much, is that it is not a very complete editor, in the sense that pure templates are used, it can not be created from scratch, but if you have another editor, it could be complemented very well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As the longtime user of iMovie to edit home movies, Filmora is one of the best alternatives available today. It comes with tons of movie effects to spice up your results to look more professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's safe to say that every movie editor takes a lot of system resources, and Filmora is no exception. It can slow down the computer, especially on the older generations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really love this video editor, with the power to create short films adding pre-established animations, music, text and many other things, it is a very well structured and structured program with simple and quality functions, the best of all is that the program is very easy to use, we can edit a video and create another in twenty minutes and with an excellent professional finish that would seem that we are experts in the area when we really are not. I think that beyond all those pre-established functions should be left to be added manually by the user some functions as texts, ie some typography that I as a designer and I want to add to my video, in this aspect the program limits you a lot and it does not let you explode all your imagination Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Filmora is an easy-to-use tool. The interface is intuïtive and doesn't take much time to understand. There are some broad possibilities for e.g. greenscreen, splitscreen and other function, without the loss of oversight. Also, it runs pretty well on my PC, which is not meant for video-editing (photo-editing at best). Although the program is quite heavy, it runs pretty well on computers it's not meant too. It doest, however, slow down the functionality, but that's because of the specs of my pc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many special effects to add, but there are very little options to how you can add them. For example, you can add fire, but not as holding fire in your hand. So the special effects are not very advanced. Also, some functions could work better. It's nice to be able to work with greenscreen, but it can be hard to adjust the lighting or to remove the entire background on a video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Filmora offers a simplicity people who arent familiar with all the advanced techniques and only want to quickly edit video but dont want to be burdened with complicated features competitors like Adobe Premier and Apple's Final Cut Pro.
The interface is pretty simple and offers the basics while staying inline with industry standards regarding the layout of the application which will make the move to more advanced products easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Depending on what you want done, this really is meant for the amateur who just wants to edit and go. So don't expect this software to look like Casey Neistat's videos using this tool. You will want to move up to more professional suites.
The dark interface it starts you out on is ok but a tad darker than I'd like. The light interface is ok but the flat style of the UI brings along other issues like no depth in the controls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ease of use in both creating and editing video and photo footage. Instead of waiting weeks to get a new marketing video out, we can have it filmed, edited, and published all in one day! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The time it takes to download the stock content. The content is worth waiting for, but it can take some time, especially the music. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
