I would say, popup maker is an "evolution slider" of pop-up plugins for wordpress.

With that we have many advantages but also couple of huge issues.

1. There is huge functionality hidden under the hood of the plugin which includes:

Slide Outs, Banner Bars, Floating Stickies, Notifications, Loading Screens, Video Lightboxes, and of course, Opt-In Forms.

2. There is an option to extend the plugin for even greater functionality and make it just perfect for your site.

Just as because I was praising plugin for it's functionality and robust features, I also would like to emphasize that this plugin might be just TOO MUCH.

As with Evolution Slider, this is a huge tool and in most cases where a simple solution is needed - this would work perfectly, but also add a lot to server workload and slow down your site.
