I've had clients have 2 and 3 menus, have items off in left field, had huge blank spaces, all because the system allows you to do that. The system should constrain users a bit so that this type of thing doesn't happen. Having custom menus and the ability to place things where you want is great AND when you can just put things all over with no constraints makes for horrible looking websites that take a lot of work to clean up and confuses users that have little to no knowledge on how websites work. What I like best about Wix is how easy it is to get started and see something come together quickly.

The drag & drop editor is honestly the biggest advantage because I don’t need to think too much about structure or coding, I can just place things however needed and then probably tweak visually. I am technically sound but for someone who’s not very technical, it would be a nice tool.

I also like that it comes with a lot of features already without needing 3rd party integrations for forms, basic SEO settings, integrations. I don’t feel like I have to install a bunch of plugins just to make a simple website.

I also want to point out about the variety of templates. They’re not all great but there are many good ones to get a base setup ready faster especially for personal sites..

Once I start building more seriously, I mean larger websites, I feel a bit limiting with the features.

Like mainly, I have issues and difficulty with data migration. Webflow and wordpress offers beeter data migration, this is one of the things I would like Wix to improve
