4/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

It's easy to upload videos to Wistia and edit them. The transcript feature is really great. It's a small thing, but I really like how easy it is to customize the thumbnail for my videos. Overall, and intuitive tool to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I don't really have any downsides to share. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Video Sharing and Performance Tracking"
5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

It is really easy to share videos with people both inside and outside of Wistia. It is very user-friendly and lots of different departments can use it. It measures performances and also transcripts of different speeches and videos we are making in our department. It is the most cost effective for our department. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I wish it was a little easier to find support and I wish hat support team responded faster. I also do not know how to find the AI feature. Also, it is hard for me to change notifications and when I changed the notification settings they stayed the same. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Professional Video Hosting with Powerful Analytics in Wistia"
4/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

What I like best about Wistia is how well it combines professional video hosting with strong marketing and analytics tools. As an Account Manager, I value being able to share polished client-facing videos while also tracking engagement metrics like views, watch time, and viewer behavior. The platform is intuitive, reliable, and makes it easy to organize content, customize video players, and maintain a professional brand experience. Features like lead capture forms, integrations with CRM and marketing platforms, and detailed reporting help our team better understand audience interest and improve follow-up strategies. It’s a strong solution for using video as both a communication and revenue-driving tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

What I dislike about Wistia is that pricing can become expensive as your video library, bandwidth usage, or feature needs grow, which may be a challenge for smaller teams. Some advanced customization options can also require extra setup time or technical knowledge to fully utilize. While the analytics are strong overall, there are times when reporting could be more flexible or easier to customize for specific business needs. I’d also like to see faster rollout of certain newer features compared to some emerging competitors. Overall, these are manageable tradeoffs for a reliable and high-quality platform. "Superior Video Quality and Easy Version Control"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I use Wistia quite a bit to host all the videos on our website and for capturing on-demand webinars because I think the video quality is better than Zoom and other tools. Version control with Wistia is huge for us; we can keep updating videos, replacing them easily, and they update across all locations automatically, which is ultra nice. The recording studio in Wistia is much easier to use than QuickTime or other video tools we've been using. I recently used it to edit a video for our CEO, and the final product turned out great. Implementation was super easy, which made the initial setup less of a hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I wish the recording studio showed audio WAV files, so you could clearly cut at the right point. Also, I've had a few times where the recording didn't save, which luckily hasn't been an issue, but it did happen once. The recording studio just has a couple of tiny bugs. "Video Hosting and Webinars Functionality that keeps improving"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

Wistia is a great multi-functional website that allows up to run live webinars and host video content on our website. It's features are well developed and we've barely scratched the surface with its functionality and it has been able to do everything we've needed it to do.

When we came across a particular design customization that we would have liked to see, we noticed that it was implemented a few months later so it's good to see the product continue to develop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

Nothing major has been an issue for me so far. It feels like the Apple or Hubspot of the world: intuitive and easy to use, but it can be limiting if you’re looking for complete customization and control. Overall, the price point is fair, but you really need to consistently leverage the functionality and build video into your strategy; otherwise, it becomes a big expense if it’s only being used as a content repository. "Wistia Makes Video Marketing Feel Effortless- Beautiful Players, Deep Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

What I like best about Wistia is how thoughtfully it’s built for people who actually use video to grow a business, not just to host files.

A few things that really stand out:

Beautiful, customizable players that don’t scream “third-party tool” and keep the focus on the brand

Built-in analytics that go beyond views with heatmaps, engagement, and drop-off points are genuinely useful

Marketing-first features like turnstiles, CTAs, and email capture that tie video directly to outcomes

Great UX and docs, it’s intuitive enough for non-technical teams but powerful for advanced use

And honestly, the tone and personality of the product and content because it feels human, friendly, and intentional Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

Pricing can feel steep as your video library or bandwidth grows, especially compared to alternatives like Vimeo or self-hosting.

Limited built-in editing. It’s great for hosting and analytics, but you still need other tools for serious video editing.

Marketing features can feel basic unless you’re on higher tiers (e.g., CTAs, forms, advanced customization). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Purpose-Built Video Hosting with Powerful Analytics and Customizable, Ad-Free Player"
5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

Wistia is an excellent video hosting platform built specifically for marketing, education, and business use. The video player feels clean and fast, and it’s highly customizable, without distracting ads or third-party branding. Features such as detailed viewer analytics, heatmaps, turnstile email capture, and built-in CTAs make it easier to understand how people engage and to connect video performance directly to business goals. It also integrates smoothly with tools like HubSpot, Marketo, and website CMSs, and overall it comes across as purpose-built for teams that care about video performance; not just basic storage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

Pricing can be higher than more generic video hosting platforms, especially as your video library and overall usage grow. Although the feature set is strong, teams that only need straightforward video hosting may not end up using everything Wistia offers. In addition, some of the more advanced customization or analytics use cases can take time to fully understand, set up, and configure properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"User-Friendly Platform with Effective Webinar Features"
4/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I like that Wistia is super easy to use and accessible through its website, allowing everyone on the team to get in there and make edits. I really appreciate that we can replace videos while keeping the video data or details, so we can continue to watch engagement over time and update the videos when needed. I also really like the webinar feature—it has made a big difference in the way our customers can interact with us during webinars without being confused. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

It's really difficult to record a webinar in a completely silent environment. We have special microphones that we use, but because there's not a background noise canceling option, it picks up every single sound, whether it's as small as lightly typing on the laptop or a dog barking next door. "Time-Saving Video Management with Stellar Analytics"
5/5
What do you like best about Wistia?

I really like Wistia for its automated captions, which save me a lot of time by doing the first scan and cuts for the captions. It's absolutely great. The analytics are very good, allowing me to dig into the numbers to find out how certain videos are performing, which also saves me a lot of time. Wistia helps to centralize all of my videos in one place and provides stats on the performance of these videos. I also appreciate the ease of downloading and translating captions into different languages, which has been a huge time saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wistia?

I think the little shorts created by Wistia could be more editable so I could include my branding in those shorts. They are very good for snippets, but the fact that I can't edit them as much as I would like makes me not use them at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
