All the tools are helpful, and it's great to be able to customize the look of the video player. **What do you dislike about Wistia?** With Wistia Live, there's still a couple features we're looking for it to be improved. I think things like capturing leads, being able to ask people to raise their hand during a live webinar, and be able to capture all the people that raised their hand for wanting a demo. I know there's some implementation for that now and maybe it has been updated since the last time I tried it. I think that would be an improvement. For our Wistia live videos, we film in a studio and not from a webcam setup. Everything is reversed when I look at the video inside Wistia Live, because it's trying to be a mirror image like a webcam would. But for our studio environment, that's just one small little nitpick that I wish I could flip the video feed in Wistia Live so that way it's not mirrored and it could look normal for the producer view as well. **What problems is Wistia solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Wistia to host company videos, promote them in campaigns, and share series like podcasts. It's great for internal video purposes too. ### 2. Overall, Wistia makes it easy to manage, optimize, and publish video content efficiently. **What do you dislike about Wistia?** Nothing I can think of. It' supports my needs well. **What problems is Wistia solving and how is that benefiting you?** Wistia has significantly improved the way I manage and organize video content. I love the video collection feature because it's simple, intuitive, and makes it easy to organize and categorize videos in a logical way. The learning curve is short, so you’re ready to go as soon as you get access. **What do you dislike about Wistia?** There is nothing that comes to my mind about disliking Wistia. **What problems is Wistia solving and how is that benefiting you?** We’re able to post videos to landing pages or our website with ease, and the fact that I can edit them directly within the tool is pretty amazing. It’s not a dedicated video-editing tool, but for most of what we need, it does the trick. It also creates short links for sharing and generates a thumbnail, which basically covers our needs. It saved me from going to other departments that have video editing tools and from waiting for them to do the task and/or get approval. ### 4. Analytics are really easy to look at, giving me quick access to reports that show how many people have watched the videos, engagement statistics, and form submissions. The organizational features and dashboard save time and allow me to report back to the team on what's working. I also appreciate how Wistia generates a summary for each video, which makes it easy to use in other AI tools for social captions and more. One of the most valuable features is Turnstile, which allows us to capture leads directly within videos without disrupting the viewer experience. Combined with customizable CTAs, it makes video a much more actionable part of our marketing strategy. The analytics are another major strength—Wistia’s heatmaps and engagement data provide clear insight into how viewers are interacting with content, which helps us continuously optimize performance. The platform is also incredibly easy to use. Embedding videos is seamless, and integrations with tools like HubSpot (we use this) make it simple to connect video engagement to broader campaigns. We also appreciate the ability to fully customize the video player so it aligns with our brand. **What do you dislike about Wistia?** The AI-generated remix tool isn't quite there yet. It requires a lot of edits like formatting and font changes. I really like how easy it is to use and that it is customizable to a point. **What do you dislike about Wistia?** It would be great to pull people onto the stage to clarify questions, share screens, etc., rather than relying on chat, which has a lag. It would be nice to easily integrate it with Make to streamline webinar creation—progress has been made, but I still have to change things manually. The attendee count during the webinar doesn't update accurately, and I can't see the engagement info afterward. When using the present feature, it should appear at the bottom of the screen like a share screen instead of needing multiple clicks to bring it back up. **What problems is Wistia solving and how is that benefiting you?** Wistia allows us to host webinars with the right number of attendees and it's easy to use. They offer a lot of great resources, like blog posts relevant to my industry, great support forums, and tutorials when they make UI updates. The initial setup was very easy, and I have been happily using Wistia for about 14 years. **What do you dislike about Wistia?** It is frustrating that they do not have an Android mobile app. **What problems is Wistia solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use Wistia for seamless playback on my website without buffering and secure video sharing with clients. Clean layout and easy to use with API. Uploading is super quick and it helps us a lot with the business linking our videos to our platform. The AI captions are also great and we love that it allows us to edit and also translate into another language. **What do you dislike about Wistia?** I feel there could be better folder organization options and ways to organise our content maybe using AI. There should also be more options where we can see stats on not jut performance but how many of our videos have captions, have certain accessibility features, and an easy way to bulk change certain things across a specific folder. For example, we want captions on all of our videos so it would be nice to be able to filter for ones that aren't captioned. **What problems is Wistia solving and how is that benefiting you?** Wistia is a helpful platform for us to caption and upload our content. We are able to translate our videos into Canadian French which helps us reach broader audiences via localisation. ### 8. We use Wistia to record remote client interviews, pre-recorded Webinars, and live Webinars. I appreciate that the recording tools are a lot more polished and streamlined than typical video conferencing software. And they are easy to use and browser-based so non-technical teammembers and guests are not overwhelmed. The browser-based editing tools are also a huge asset for scalability. Because of these tools and the fact that recordings are hosted in the same platform, non-technical marketers on our Content and Social teams can easily repurpose long form media for other channels without tapping our Video team's limited bandwidth. Overall, amazing tool that makes our video team so much more efficient and scalable. **What do you dislike about Wistia?** The recording platform is great but not quite as flexible and professional as dedicated solutions. There are a few features of the recording platform that I would like to see implemented: -Downloadable separate tracks for each speaker during live webinars -Separate, high quality audio tracks for each speaker -Ability to map keyboard shortcuts to change layouts or spotlight speakers during recording -Ability for Producer to unmute and communicate with guests without being on stage. **What problems is Wistia solving and how is that benefiting you?** Wistia is allowing us to bump up the production quality of remote client interviews and Webinars without subscribing to a dedicated remote recording studio. It is also helping us scale our volume of social content by allowing non-technical team members to repurpose content with the built in editor. ### 9. I am a professional editor, so I have the tools, but I see this suite being very useful for product teams who need to create content but don't have access to a producer or past video editing experience. Love the zoom feature as well. Also I like the AI Engine optimization features **What do you dislike about Wistia?** I would like if the viewer that we share with prospects looked a bit more polished like a YouTube instead of a back-end video platform. Not the biggest deal though. **What problems is Wistia solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helpful to store video internally. While we didn't get it for transcription, it's transcription is helpful since it is free. It doesn't do a full mutli-person easy speaker ID transcription - but it isn't a transcription first platform so that is okay, it does what I need it to do quickly. ### 10. It's extremely simple with just a few clicks to make translated text and captions available to clients, which streamlines our efforts. **What do you dislike about Wistia?** Sometimes the folder structure and search functionality can be a bit tough. Unless your team coordinates on how you organize things, or you use the very specific words in the title of your video, it can be hard to find your video.
