When it doesn't work, it's impossible to fix. I have tried to do a scene overlay for the last three hours. What works easily on the demo video DOESN'T in the real world. I NEED overlays to illustrate my points, but they just aren't working. Additionally, support so far has been non-existent. I want to love Wisecut, but it seems like they need customer support and better training videos to take this to a level where it can be a go-to video editor. UX is a disaster, with (confirmed) uploaded videos simply going missing, difficult navigation and slooooooowwwwwww processing at times.

I enjoy the robust features and ease of use. I just upload my video, select how I want WiseCut to edit, and what features I want to add; such as music, or captions. Then the software does the rest!

My Chef's Backyard YouTube channel has been gaining followers and I have received many compliments on how professional the videos are!

After I enter my video onto WiseCut, the software automatically cuts out the parts that I am not talking which speeds up the action in the videos. Then I can edit the captions if I choose.

It's pretty easy to use. Just upload your raw footage, then click what you'd like - for example removing silences or doing automatic punch-ins, easy cuts, adding a bit of background sound or balancing your vocal sound. Previously I was using separate cloud-based audio editing software and then video editing on my laptop, but that was quite a hassle. Currently, I'm a pretty happy camper. I wish they'd keep on adding useful features - like adding intro/outro text overlay would come in handy. This would give really nice finish to the videos. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My favorite feature is being able to edit the video simply by deleting the unwanted text from the automatically generated transcript. This is a huge timesaver. Wisecut also has some great features like auto-cut which automagically removes the unwanted parts of the video, eg. silent pauses. The end result is a clean video without the boring parts. I also found the background music a great way to liven up the video - it really makes it more engaging. Lastly, the auto-subtitles are a must-have and are mostly accurate. All features are able to be turned off or on as needed

To be honest there is nothing serious to dislike, it is more about refining the existing features.

Improvements I'd like to see:

- Folders to organise projects

- Easier way to delete multiple projects at once (currently has to be done one by one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The time savings from this app was incredible from the start. As someone who struggles with the monotony of having to splice out small edits, Wisecut was very much appreciated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I know there are a lot of features on the product roadmap - but as it stands, currently, Wisecut isn't as good for a lot of forms of video editing - but the specific use case of trimming video down and removing the extraneous parts it does quite well at. Being able to add your own audio options and making visual edits to the video would be helpful. It would be nice if rendering times could also be sped up, but this can vary as well. It's easy to create super and engaging content-related videos part. Best for vloggers and content creators. It's so easy to cut, edit things without any hassle. It saves you many hours and hours of editing that we can spend to focus on the other areas or works.

This saves so much time to just do that simple first round of cuts of a video. For simpler videos like testimonials and social videos, it is almost a one-and-done solution. although the transcribing needs, some work from time to time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are not many downsides unless you are expecting this to create a polished product for you. You will still need to go over your work, but at least the tedious stuff is done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Haven't used it much yet apart from a couple of initial tests, however I'm pleasantly surprised already. It really feels like magic and a tool that really cuts down the time you'd have otherwise spend editing.
