It is compatible with the main protocols, SSH and FTP mainly, and their variants. It is also easy to use and is open-source. **What do you dislike about WinSCP?** The management of the stored sessions is not simple, and actually every time I use the application I have to rewrite all the data of the session. **Recommendations to others considering WinSCP:** WinSCP is perfect for uploading files to other servers. It is widely used for web developers to upload the files they develop using the FTP or SFTP protocol, or in my case to copy files to the linux servers through the SSH / SCP protocol. **What problems is WinSCP solving and how is that benefiting you?** This application is basic for me to be able to move the files between Windows computers and Linux servers. Usually my servers are Linux but the notebooks are all Windows, so any management has to go through this application. ### 50. Easy login into any server and transferring the files between the folders.
