## Winning by Design Reviews
  ### 1. Winning by Design Prospecting Certification Course

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivy L. | Manager of Sales Development, Community Verification, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 01, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

My organization has all new hires in sales roles earn a Winning by Design Certification. I was enrolled in the prospecting course with Antoine Mandy. I have taken similar courses before, but never with WbD. My role is a Sales Development Manager and the WbD concepts are heavily leveraged across my company, so my largest goal was to have a strong understanding of the concepts to coach more effectively in a way the SDR team is familiar with. I certainly left the course with the ability to do just that.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I found the course effective for a few reasons: 1. Accountability - you have to complete the modules before attending the sessions. With so much going on at the point of onboarding, if it wasn't a requirement, it would have been difficult for me to prioritize. 2. Engagement- there is no hiding in the course, Antoine will (and should) call on everyone. This allows the group to hear from a broad range of perspectives from sales reps of all tenures & across all industries. 3. Storytelling- Antoine did a great job of teaching and enforcing the concepts with examples everyone could relate to. This helped me better retain the information. I would also imagine this would be crucial for someone entering the course with no sales experience.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Although I found it valuable being in a course that had external facing sales reps, I think it would have also been valuable for me personally to have another manager in the course to talk through application across a team. This could have just been due to the type of certification my Company had enrolled me in.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem my organization is solving for is coaching inconsistency across departments/roles. I have been at other organizations where certain roles have standardized sales techniques, but unless the broader sales organization is bought in, buy-in is a challenge.

  ### 2. Dynamic and Practical

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda N. | Account Growth Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I took the Account Management course and loved all the ideas, experiences and strategies shared during the course weeks. All the lessons were practical and easily applied in everyday life. We had great results.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

In my opinion, the best were the practical activities where we were grouped and challenged.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

There wasn't anything that I didn't like, but as a point of improvement, a class dedicated only to cross sell

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Perfect course for those who are looking for continuous improvement and practical strategies for the day to day with the client.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More assertive meetings and a portfolio of strategies for customer-facing situations

  ### 3. CivicPlus

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin F. | Sales Development Representative, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I just felt like there was a lot of valuable information, and it was presented in a way that sticks. Antoine was a great instructor, very engaging and keeps everyone involved.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

don't think there is anything I disliked about the program

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Be prepared to be involved, this is not a blow-off class!

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

how to call prospects, overcome objections and manage your time properly

  ### 4. Excellent sales training with Antoine

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael D. | Client Development Supervisor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Account Executive Certification Course

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The mix of independent study materials, videos, and in-person training are all very well put together and helpful. Antoine did a great job with our group sessions -- all of the information is very clearly presented and practical. I loved the emphasis on immediately taking what we learned and applying it to our sales conversations.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

While I enjoyed the structure of the in-person sessions, they were for 2-hours once per week, which was a bit long, and I sometimes found it challenging to stay engaged by the end. I wouldn't have minded more sessions spread out over a week.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Fundamental sales training -- leading sales conversations, running compelling demos, storytelling, negotiation and trading. The practical design of the course has already strentghened my current converstaions with prospects.

  ### 5. Excellent Course!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ike C. | Senior Director - Business Partnerships, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Live sessions. Creates a structure that allows me to be more conversational/consultative

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Too many acronyms. However, once I get more familiar with them, I might not feel the same way

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Take the course!

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to stay focused on adding value, vs selling

  ### 6. A different kind of sales training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I took a few courses at a previous company as part of ongoing training/enablement for new biz sales.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

This is not your average "do discovery, ask questions, challenge your buyers, get authority on a call" sales training. This was a "human to human selling" training, and gave me new perspectives on old methodologies. The videos were fun and engaging - I didn't find myself spacing out or bored - and left me with a couple of new ideas on how to actually improve sales conversations. Of the 4-5 sales training organizations I've worked with previously, Winning By Design is the only one I remember that has had a genuine impact on how I run my book of business.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

n/a - i only wish we could have invested in their consulting playbooks which help tailor the trainings to your specific business (i can easily see the impact of that)

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

If you are evaluating for sales training, I highly recommend looking at their consulting offers as well - I wish we could have leveraged those as a sales org.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We rolled out Winning by Design to see how we could better engage with prospects and increase our win rates as a sales team. Since viewing their training videos, I've noticed an increase in the quality of my conversations with buyers. While I can't track exactly how Winning by Design has impacted my win rate since this was a few companies ago, I do believe Gong/Chorus have trackers where you can see how reps implement their training and how that impacts deal progression over time.

  ### 7. Very good course on the Sales Cycle by Winning by Design.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** León M. | Marketing Intelligence Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

We hire a consultancy to structure our enterprise sales playbook and generate a demand generation strategy to meet commercial goals.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I liked the material that was provided to us; in general, all the methods and techniques reviewed are very well structured and enable the scaling of the sales model.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Perhaps the course structure can be improved; it could start with the online course, and once completed, conduct a round of synchronous meetings. This would require attendees to come to the workshops with all the context.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Consider the training if you are thinking about scaling sales.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are structuring our commercial and Customer Success area based on the framework offered by WbD, and we see that standardizing the process and measuring the key points of the Bow Tie will help us scale sales.

  ### 8. CS Training + Alia Trainer = Great Combination

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Worked with Winning by Design to provide us with Customer Success training and an improved methodology on how we deal with customer interactions moving forward.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The training was excellent, and Alia made it very engaging for everyone. We had enough time to learn the concepts and put them into play each week, along with fun games to lighten the mood.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

There was nothing I would say I disliked, but some of the training methodologies have similarities to other courses I've taken in the past. Good reminders regardless.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Great training to take, regardless of skill level.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problems being solved for us were to improve the Customer Success methodologies we had in place and have better customer interactions. There were many positive methods learned that can be implemented on a daily basis in our preparation and customer calls.

  ### 9. Best SaaS Sales Method Course

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Miles B. | Board Advisor (and Shareholder), Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2020

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I recently completed the Winning by Design Mastership in SaaS Sales Method course. The instructor, Antoine, and online sessions were enjoyable and highly interactive; the content was challenging (and right on). When you complete this course, you'll have the tools and frameworks you'll need to help you better communicate with your customers and sell with confidence. I highly recommend the course and Winning by Design.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The online sessions were enjoyable and highly interactive

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

There isn't any dislikes about using Winning by Design.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Do it! Don't second guess about it.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I now have the tools and frameworks I need to help me better communicate with my customers and sell with confidence.

  ### 10. Engaging & Helpful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Alia at Winning by Designed helped me to understand how to become an effective CS Director, I was able to onboard and take on new clients effectively and efficiently.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

ACE/SPICED framework - this is something tangible that will help me in my current role.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I wish there was more time to get into areas where we need help. We are in the process of trying to understand touchpoints with our clients and how often and effective they are. It would be nice to collaborate as a group on areas we need our business to work on or gain feedback.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am new to the CSD role but this provided the framework for me to be successful day one.

  ### 11. Winning by Design - Customer Success was a huge Value-add!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sue S. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

As a growing company, we have spent months brainstorming on processes and got nowhere. But after just 4 weeks of training, I was able to learn and streamline many internal processes at Profit.co. Selena is kind, patient, quick on her toes, and offers great insights. Our assignments were just the right length, the material is not too heavy and the same time, not too easy-breezy. It was a wonderful training experience!

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Quality of material, Selena's Delivery. All on point.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing comes to mind. I just wish the course were 5 weeks long and we did a deep dive into the negotiation and difficult conversations more.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Process improvements, my own communication skills, and starting to think more towards impact creation and value delivery of our product.

  ### 12. CS Training with Alia

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The documentation and the videos recorded that we had to read and view ahead of the live sessions were of really high quality. Well written, well executed, and very pedagogic.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

The live sessions, although very well animated by the speaker, was a repetition of the content we had to prepare ahead of the live session. I believe we could have gone in deeper detail and exchange for these live sessions.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Training for a starter CSM in a SaaS company.

  ### 13. Great Insights to the world of Customer Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Britta B. | Enterprise Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I just started a new job as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager. This course gave me great insights into the world of SaaS (coming from a very different industry myself) - with e.g. the bow-tie. Even though, as a German, structure is my nature - WbD gave me some additional valuable tools supporting the structure of meetings with my customers.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The energy of Alia (our coach) was excellent - through the entire training! Applying the tools with role-plays or exercises added a practical hands-on approach, and the e-learning tool had a great variety of different elements to go through the curriculum with (videos, blueprints, quizzes, etc.)

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

It seemed that the time available was overall not sufficient. There were too many great things to discuss and do exercises on, hence too many topics to cover within the given time frame.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The request for structured hand-overs - SPICED - will create a more comprehensive overview during the process. ACE'ing every customer call one goes into - will also create a coherency, where the meeting is set off to a good start.

  ### 14. Engaging course with valuable lessons and great instructor

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 12, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

WbD were hired to train and strengthen the skills of the entire CSM department

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The live sessions were extremely engaging and succeeded in making sure the information really stuck. The course also came with downloadable pdfs which I will definitely refer back to again and again!

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Though it's hard to come up with any downsides, the course was a little too American and needed some tweaking to apply to a European audience/customer base.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Winning by Design helped standardise processes across the organisation, and even took part in putting together playbooks which will facilitate internal communication thanks to everyone's familiarity with the concepts discussed.

  ### 15. Knowledge that you can apply in practice directly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The most helpful were the two hour live sessions in which we were encouraged to apply the gained knowledge to cases directly. This enabled us to learn from other participants in the course and to practice new skills.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I cannot really come up with anything missing in the course, it was a good fit for me in my current role.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

I really liked the trainer and digital learning platform.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I learned techniques to apply in customer conversations that help to guide our customers so they become the most successful. This contributes to our goal to retain customers and minimize churn.

  ### 16. Great Opportunity to Improve your CS Skills

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I took the Customer Success course with Alia, and it was really beneficial. It made me think about opportunities to improve certain processes at my organization and opportunities to improve my own client engagements. The most impactful parts of the course for me were working on asking the right questions and telling an effective story. The course provided me with some great tips that I'm able to implement that same day but also opportunities for me to work on long term. Thanks, Alia and the Winning by Design team!

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The 2 hour sessions were effective and the homework was also valuable. My favorite parts were the movie clips - it really helps me remember the material and value of what we learned.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

It might have been great to have our last session a few weeks after the others so that we can share more about how we've been able to implement what we've learned.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving the way I go about asking questions with my clients. I feel more empowered to tell compelling stories with my customers. It also made me think about different relationships with different types of stakeholders.

  ### 17. Amazing coaching and ready to use skills!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marco S. | Principal Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Since the day after my first Winning by Design session, I've started to put into my daily work the very useful tips and creating thinking this course gave me. Now I feel I am more in control of the relationship with my customers and I have more "weapons" to efficiently escape from uncomfortable situations.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The entire course was entirely designed for my daily needs

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

nothing.......................................

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Attend if you have the chance!

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am more in control of the customer's relationship.

  ### 18. Awesome Training Experience - Great Teacher

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel B. | Customer Success Technical Account Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2021

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

This WBD course helped me gain skills and knowledge in coaching others to increase their overall impact. Big fan of the REKS framework!

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The structure of the course was great, some pre-work before each of the 4 lessons. Kevin Dorsey was an excellent trainer, very engaging; he explained the ideas in detail with examples from his own experience. I liked the format, which included break-out sessions between the attendees to discuss the topics during the class. We learned a lot about how to structure high-impact coaching sessions that have a direct impact on results and how to keep people accountable.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing I disliked. It would be nice to have a 1-2 page cheat sheet that summarises all the important tools we learned from the course, that could be used going forward.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

If you are looking for specific training for roles in the SaaS industry that you can use immediately in your current role (Customer Success Manager or Sales Account Exec) WBD has impressive courses. Before taking this course, I read a number of their SaaS Sales Method books which were also very valuable. I would recommend you also check those out on Amazon if you want a trial of the material.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

While I'm not currently managing anyone in my role, I can see ways to use the high-impact coaching structure to help train other CSMs in my organization and improve our internal onboarding.

  ### 19. Great content, with room for improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I completed the AE course and I'm glad I did! This was a great refresher on sales, and also gave me a bunch of new techniques to use specifically for SaaS sales.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Antoine was a great facilitator, and the way he taught was clearly showcasing the skills he was teaching. He made the learning really interactive, knew how to keep us all engaged, and used great real-life examples to help add relevant context to the work. I liked how they had a great mix of educational mediums to support people with different learning styles.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

There were a bunch of spelling and grammar errors in the google doc we were doing the role-playing from, and in the exam as well. I didn't get real clarity about the difference between pain and impact questions, and the breakout sessions for roleplaying were too short.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have a better handle of communicating effectively with clients in the SaaS world and helping them solve their problems easier. I feel like I have more tools in my tool belt to connect with and support the clients I meet.

  ### 20. Invaluable framework for constructive sales conversations!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Courtney R. | Customer Success Associate - Group Verification, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2021

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Winning by Design worked with our entire sales org from biz dev to customer success. On the customer success side, my team & I went through the whole course and high-impact coaching modules.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Alia was an engaging & fantastic facilitator/trainer! The content helped me think more critically about the customer conversations I was having and the ones I wanted to be having in the future. I learned evident and implementable strategies to take discussions to the next level and connect more deeply with my clients.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

It's tough to devote the time to training on top of everything else! And because the training/coaching is based on real-life conversations, it was tough to get to all the things I wanted to cover (or knew I might need in the future) that I just hadn't gotten to, being only six months in for most of my team.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

The long-term value potential for the training depends on how you structure your teams within the sessions.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having "difficult conversations" in a more productive and constructive way, providing value to clients at every touch point (& empowering THEM to articulate that value, too!), giving a structure and framework to client calls that demonstrates our expertise & value while being conversational, approachable and genuinely curious about the clients' needs (as opposed to our own upsell opportunities!).

  ### 21. WBD is extremely informative, engaging and entertaining!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lexi T. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2020

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Winning by Design has completely transformed my sales process and provided me with the necessary skills that are fundamental in developing my sales career.

Not only was it a very pleasant experience that leaves me feeling confident and ready to apply my learnings to my daily sales efforts, but it also inspired me to look further than just what is taught and continuously adapt and apply to help grow within my career as a whole.

Dan was extremely positive, kind, and well-versed in all things sales. His sessions were extremely educational, fun, and engaging - I highly recommend!

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I thoroughly enjoyed the role playing, which provided myself and my cohorts the space to practice the skills being taught. I also liked being introduced to new frameworks (ACE methodology and SPICED) that I now use within my role each and every day!

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I honestly have to say I didn't find anything in training that I didn't like - I really loved everything about the course!

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

I highly recommend Winning by Design.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How I go about structuring my calls. Using the framework provided by Winning by Design has helped me have much better sales conversations with our customers.

One particular problem I struggled with prior to WBD was 'prescribing' a solution to a client before determining a 'diagnosis'. Since taking these courses and learning from Dan ways to navigate a call in order to help me better understand the clients needs, I am now able to overcome this setback.

  ### 22. SaaS sales training that works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hogan B. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Loved the style of teaching, reinforcing, and role-playing to help retain what I learned.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Didn't dislike anything about the program. It was all helpful.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WbD helps to solve the challenges that sales pro's face day to day in a SaaS selling environment. The benefits I have gained from this training was the practical skills to use in calls, demos and negotiations to help me speed up my sales process.

  ### 23. Engaging, practical and logical

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex K. | Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 08, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Helped align and standardise our sales process, focus on solid discovery, engagement throughout and remaining customercentric.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

It was practical and easy to implement
Antoine ensured everyone was engaged
It was more simple compared to other sales training I have done.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

It would have been a better experience if it were more attuned to our current processes and the changes that we need to make as an organisation.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Gaps in our standard organisational sales process, specifically 'pain, impact, storytelling'

  ### 24. Great training!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Scott G. | Vice President Of Customer Support, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2021

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

My company has been actively engaged with Winning by Design over the last year or so and I was able to be apart of the Mastership in Sales and Sales Coaching classes and the classes were great! Miya and Antoine were my instructors and they were fantastic. Rarely have I experienced training at this level - it SO well done.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I liked the course set-up - there were so many different learning modes - this multivariate approach activated me! Videos to watch, reading to complete, pre-work, great discussions, practical exercises. The sheer number of ways that the Winning by Design team engages you to make sure your understanding of the material sticks is mind-boggling.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing - I thought the material was well presented - I definitely would take more courses from Winning by Design.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The key things that we learned were communications training and how to create a coaching culture.

  ### 25. Very helpful course.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

We needed a direction for our account management team from the implementation process to the growth stages. This is helping us format a gameplan that we can use in each step. It is also helping our communication internally and externally.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Working together as a team for discussion was very helpful. Its one thing to hear the process in a class, but way more effective to discuss how it relates to us. Also, Selena was a fantastic instructor, she took time to answer questions and was very engaging.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I wish we had a little more time, it felt a little rushed at times. But that just speaks to the awesome content that was involved.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are adding SPICED into our implementation process and coming up with agendas. I am starting to plan out my questions before meetings which allows me to gather more information simply by rephrasing a question.

  ### 26. Great learning experience! - Mastership in Customer Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emilie D. | Global Director of Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 07, 2021

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Winning by Design helped me train my Customer Success team on commercial skills and strategic customer relationships.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I like their flipped classroom approach, where you read and watch videos about the topics before they are mentioned in the live sessions. The live sessions are more about practicing what you learned in a fun way. The training also forces you to rethink your internal process and how you interact with customers. The principles are clearly explained, and you are given exercises to practice between sessions. Also, our trainer, Alia, was fun and engaging!

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

This was a training for Customer Success Managers, but some videos and blueprints of the online platform are still very much about Sales. Also, they are way too many topics and not enough time to tackle them all in the 4 live sessions. It would have been great to have 1 or 2 more extra live sessions to really dig into the more complex topics of storytelling and impact orchestration/review.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Customer Success Managers of my team are more confident in customer calls, especially when it comes to handling difficult conversations and negotiations. It also gives us some good ideas for the improvement of our processes.

  ### 27. CSM skills

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The methodology and high energy environment

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I can't point out anything I disliked during the training.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I would say 1st value is acing my client meetings, making them goal oriented, value driven..."connecting the wagons" that help me create a healthy and strong relationship.

  ### 28. My experience was inspiring!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The in-person CS training was the best because it allowed us to collaborate with groups and have a real-time discussion about what we were learning.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

The online CS trainings were too long and we didn't have enough breaks. I felt like I wasn't retaining new information after about an hour.

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

The CS trainings are super helpful and you learn a lot. Try to do it in person if you can!

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Alia helped me develop better language for communicating with clients and helped me to run meetings more efficiently creating real, attainable goals.

Asking the right questions in the right order, rather than being scattered

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The interaction between all members in different industries. The breakout sessions were great too. I really liked how everyone was engaged even while learning remotely.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Honestly, the only thing I didn't like was not being able to 100% focus on my selling during the times. However, I liked learning the methodology and being able to know that I can use it day to day.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well, I know that I will be able to engage the customer more intently with this system and will be able to address the right pains with a more effective solution going forward.

Alia is a great teacher. She kept the trainings engaging and fun.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I disliked the limited amount of time we were given for a break during a two-hour session.

These courses are engaging and require work outside of the scheduled trainings. It's a reasonable amount of work and helps prep you for the following live call.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CSM / Client relationship. Too soon to tell. The course just ended.

  ### 32. Approaches to sharpen the toolset and choose the right tools.

  ### 34. What you need to build a scalable and effective Demand Generation model

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica T. | Senior Director, Marketing Strategy & Operations, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

We brought on WbD to help with our Demand Generation strategy. Rus built an incredible playbook containing virtually EVERYTHING we needed to know/start doing/stop doing to create a scalable and highly effective Demand Generation function. The team picked it up immediately, and we've already seen success. The material & coaching he provided was extremely valuable and I'll be taking the tactics learned throughout the rest of my career.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

- Rus & team were highly engaging and responsive
- Takeaways from the playbook & various sessions were endless
- Although the materials were very detailed and in-depth, they were rolled out in a way that was easy to digest and understand, which was beneficial for team members of all experience levels

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing at all. They delivered everything we were expecting & more — no complaints from myself or the broader team.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were able to build a scalable and more effective Demand Generation strategy. I don't want to give away any gems :) but we learned everything from how to structure a GTM campaign more effectively... to ... simple conversion tweaks that drive maximum value... and everything in between.

  ### 35. Excellent WBD course taught by María Abad

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nicolás G. | H, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2021

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

At wherEX, we are in the process of restructuring many internal processes. WBD helped us identify the gaps and how to scientifically structure the workflows and interactions with our client. I 100% recommend the course, especially the Spanish edition taught by María Abad.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The simplicity of the teaching method, its relevance, and the way it is grounded on real, didactic, and understandable examples for our clients.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

It was very interesting to have other companies in the course to understand their procedures. It would have been even better if there was not just one additional company besides us, but more.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The formula for prospecting. Landing simply on how we should approach our prospects under a methodology applied and proven in B2B SaaS businesses. Benefits: order, processes, quick wins, other angles we hadn't considered.

  ### 36. A course that will DEFENITELY teach you new things :)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda E. | Head of Client Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2021

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

WbD helped me on how to create and implement a coaching mindset within my team.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I loved that I was able to learn new things, concepts, tools,... and this is great! This wasn't just a traditional training for me. I know I left the course knowing more than I used to and I'm confident that I'll be able to use the resources with my team.

I liked a lot the pre-work materials. The content was great and super useful. I also liked a lot our sessions with Antoine, because we were able to discuss and practice the theory that we have just learned. The sessions were engaging and fun to join and it's clear that Antoine is very knowledgeable in what he is teaching.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

In the beginning, it was clear that only a few of the students were engaged and prepared for the sessions. This has slowed down a bit the learning pace of the class, but with time, people started to realize that they needed to dedicate some time to prep for the class.

I also didn't like that the training is over! I wish we had a few more practical sessions :)

**Recommendations to others considering Winning by Design:**

Defo go for it.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to overcome the boss / manager mindset and become a coach to my team, developing them in the right way.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

The combination of self-guided learning and live sessions really helped apply the material to actual professional situations, and the sessions with Alia made the experience feel much more personalized.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

The timing of the sessions (usually 10 or 11am) conflicted with some recurring responsibilities I had with my clients and left me feeling like I needed to play catch up on my daily work after.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm communicating better with clients, including preparing my approach prior to and during conversations, and have become more productive when handling internal client handoffs.

**Reviewed by:** David Z. | Senior Account Executive, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 03, 2021

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

Sales training.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Excellent presenter in Antoine, who was very knowledgeable, engaging, friendly, relaxed, and patient.
Antoine did a First Class job of taking us on a journey through the sales cycle, clearly showed us the positives and negatives of different sales scenarios, explained things in a way that everyone was able to understand and answered questions informatively and intelligently.
I have been through a lot of sales training with many instructors and Antoine was one of, if not, the best that I've had the pleasure of working with.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing, as it is all repeated knowledge on sales training sessions that I've done in the past. Winning by Design takes many frameworks out there and blends them into their own offering.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A better sales framework is in place, so there is a structure and pattern to the sales process. This system makes it easier to identify real opportunities over unqualified discussions, saving time and effort.

The interaction with my colleagues and learning their styles and personalities as well.

Everything thing worked properly and I was very engaged the entire time. But I felt like this training could have been condensed.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem of how to properly engage for more details from the customer. The customer will be more communicative regarding his pain and impact this making it easy for me to help them.

  ### 45. Very thorough

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

The most important thing in the process was learning about impact and critical events. How to identify them clearly, and use them throughout the process.

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

I liked the Blueprints and online training sessions. I think having something to read through before application makes it feel better.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

I wasn't as much of a fan of the breakout rooms and interactive sessions. I have a harder time speaking to coworkers than I do prospects.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

Antoine's boundless energy in class and I also enjoyed how interactive he made it and kept us all on our toes. I enjoyed the small break-out rooms but also enjoyed the fact that they weren't too frequent, and we weren't just in break-out rooms the whole class. Lastly, I enjoyed the content of the program. It was super relevant to my work and very insightful as well.

  ### 48. Antoine Mandy - Greatest Sales Training Ever!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 04, 2022

**Describe the project or task Winning by Design helped with:**

I generally dont like sales training because it can feel redundant or impractical. That was not the case here, Antoine brought a lot of energy and shared only helpful, relevant information for our team. Could not recommend WBD/Antoine enough!

**What do you like best about Winning by Design?**

RRR and SPICED framework are very powerful tools to keep you focused and on-task in your day-to-day selling motions. I used the RRR framework every day and it's very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Winning by Design?**

Nothing negative to add here. I think every sales person has a tough time leaving their sales/outbounding efforts, but I found it worthwhile with WBD. I could have used more company-specific messaging but understand how difficult that might be to deliver.

**What problems is Winning by Design solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed structure in our sales processes across our organization. We've realized those benefits with Winning by Design. I am more productive, and my performance has increased.
