Unlike the latest windows, windows 7 was the last with the old UI taskbar; the windows 7 Themes feature was also good.

**What do you dislike about Windows 7?**

In windows 7, we don't have multi-screen functionality, which was significantly missing. Recently windows 7 was no longer a supported version which is causing issues during the technical support.

With Windows 7 operating system, I use to work on image and video editing tools also for document and data management and other day-to-day use.

It was just so clear when windows 7 came out that it was superior than windows vista. In almost every way shape and form. From the user interface to the all the securities and permissions.

The face that microsoft does not support Windows 7 anymore.

I was using Windows 7 as my operating system at the time and the greatest benefit I realized was all the time I saved not having to complain about windows Vista

It was one of the best Windows releases so far, but it is not EOL

**What do you dislike about Windows 7?**

No longer supported by the manufacturer for patching and so vulnerabilities may continue to exist. I would advise against using this version and move to Windows 10.

Upgrade to currently supported Windows 10

I used to use it for regular office work, typing documents, slide prep and spreadsheets.

There is not much to dislike except that you do not get anything that is improved a lot. It is the same basic program.

The biggest benefit is the speed and the ease at which it connects. The problems being solved are the same but are being solved faster.

The least helpful thing about Windows 7 was the hardware configuration and the RAM capacity needed when downloading it, but this comes with nearly any new efficient operating system these days.

Windows 7 fostered easier troubleshooting by the ability to use the Problem Steps Recorder. In turn, this often resulted in less time on the phone with tech support.

The windows 7 has best interface 
for user when compared to the previous versions released by Microsoft.And the user settings with different roles mechanism are to the mark.

Well! All the windows have same features not including the other or new features. Only the UI perspectives changes are more in new updated versions. The inclusion of updated or perspective features of user required need pt included more on coming versions that help in great usability.

I say go for the windows 7 without any other doubts as it has well equipped power that can really make change in the user experience

The different user login and storage differentiality in local disks matching the speed and usage of users. In the perspective of security it has less options when compared to ubuntu.

Being a user of window 7 from several years I found it very compatible, easy and Good user interface in a very attractive manner. Operating system supporting is very good and most likely thing is install software easily. i can say in my opinion it is best among all windows version.

Nothing to dislike in windows 7 but updates are stopped by Microsoft which will be a bit frustrating for user. There is an issue related to driver support to other devices.

Bitlocker is the feature that I like for encryption for the internal drives. System performance has improved a lot from the previous versions.

Some softwares are not compatible with windows 7. and it needs a good amount of RAM to work efficiently

7 was possibly one of the easiest and most secure. Updates rolled out consistently and updating was simple.

Microsoft ended support for 7, which means the OS will be vulnerable to new attacks against it when they are found.

Fast and easy. Does not use an extreme amount of ram, which allows most software to run without being choppy.

I am using window 7 since long, it is very easy and reliable, compatible and smooth. it have very nice user interface and sufficient Data security. i can install my software easily best support to drivers. it also have good features. its is one of the best window.

In my point of view i not found any dislike in window 7 but sometimes driver supports issue occur which is little bit confusing.

It was the launching pad to windows 10 but there is not much to recommend it on today.

Windows 7 is an old archaic OS that needs to be wiped off everyone's computers as soon as possible.

**What do you like best about Windows 7?**

I started using windows 7 in 2012, and it was one of the best upgrade after windows 98 and abject failure of Windows Vista.
The things I liked about windows 7 were:
1. It was the perfect combination of security and ease of doing work. The OS completely resolved most of the vulnerabilities which were present in earlier version. Now, one can not modify any file in the system folder. The permission level became much stricter and we were able to assign roles and permission to each file and folder. 
2. The previous versions suffered a lot from virus infiltrations, as windows were known to be home of malwares, bloats and virus. It was very easy to double click any file and install a virus by mistake, however this OS came with antivirus out of box and with improved file system and antivirus present, it was finally able to resolve all the virus and was even able to recognise suspicious activity.
3. This was the major upgrade where the user interface was made smoother and touch support was provided for devices.
4.Windows Defender and Microsoft Security Essentials came right out of package. This completely changed the game for windows 7. 

Instead of all these updates, it used to run smoothly in 2 GB ram and never felt bulky like windows 10.

**What do you dislike about Windows 7?**

1. The inbuilt Internet explorer was still outdated and came with the OS. The worst part is that we can not uninstall it like any other program.
2. It is a common knowledge that windows somehow doesn't support good sound devices, thats why we never see good sound system on any windows laptop.
3. The command prompt is nothing like bash or terminal, it still lacks functionality and ease. It doesn't support most of the common terminal commands and we need to use third party tools to support that.

**Recommendations to others considering Windows 7:**

There are two set of people I would like to recommend Window7 are 
1. Those who are using vista or windows 98: It has added a lot of features since those releases and now it has much better stability and better user experience. 

2. Those who are using Ubunto or linux based system: Windows is little bulky compared to Ubunto or other linux based system, however the ability to complete most of the work with single click of mouse is simply awesome.

I used windows 7 Ultimate in my office as well as personal computer as operating system. Since we are supposed to work in microsoft products like excel, word, powerpoint, these applications runs perfectly fine with window7 as an operating system.  Windows is used by maximum users cause they are inexpensive, comes preinstalled with laptops, interactive, intuitive and a huge support from the community.

Best gui window interphase with neat graphics will give you best user computability w.r.t all functional areas of computer side.

Colour coding for ribbon and tab and task bar limitations. And this was having a limited user edition for working for more than 3 users.

Easy to operate with all functions with less human efforts.

Good gui interface easily guided menu bar will be helpful w.r.t minimal knowledge is sufficient to get this operated.

The simplicity of the User Interface and The Ease of Use. Compared to the current version which is Windows 10. I do more like on Start navigation on Windows 7.

**What do you dislike about Windows 7?**

Lack of features and Driver support for the latest hardware. This can lead you to "waste time" trying to finding a workaround to install a proper driver/software.

For daily use and for an old computer it solves "speed" problem compared to using his rival Win 8 or Win 10.

Works on large monitors, has a taskbar and some easy features like being able to slide a window to the top for quick maximization

I really like that it is very fast to install applications, you have many functions such as the desktop where it is much easier to find the applications you want to use, also its function of being able to place two screens is very efficient I like it a lot and I recommend it to everyone I also like Much that there is an option to change the wallpapers, it looks very cool and incredible.

**What do you dislike about Windows 7?**

It does not have support or compatibility with drivers and technologies considered "obsolete", marking a before and after.
A fresh, fresh installation of the operating system is mandatory for users of previous versions.
It is a more expensive version than the previous ones.
Popular Windows tools like Movie Maker, Live Essentials, and more have been removed.
There is less control by the user regarding Windows updates and remote management by the company.

The truth is that I highly recommend windows, you also do not have to enter negative pages when browsing the internet. Also for useful things because there is time to play but Windows is not to waste time playing if not so that we can investigate about a topic.

The truth is that windows has helped me a lot for work, thanks to the fact that there is the possibility of obtaining word, I have made great progress and it has helped me a lot for my work.

Windows 7 is the best OS I had ever seen in my life after Windows XP. It has all those things which is required for your work and entertainment. And most importantly it is stable and we all are very familiar with it. And you can control 7 according to your needs. You can control automatic updates etc.

I rcommend this for all.such a good platform

I found it quite stable, smooth, and provides me more control regarding my Privacy. I must say Microsoft’s Windows as a Service is a best idea. But, I recommend, to those who prefer stable OS to set their “When Updates are installed” option to “Semi-Annual Channel”. So, that you’ll get the Windows Update installed on your system when it will be very much stable for widespread use. So far, I’m liking Windows 7

1.Its interface is good but it is way different than its predecessor i.e. you need to learn a lot to use it .
2.Compatibility issue with windows XP , there are changes that you need to install things from scratch. Though it was not that much pain if you are migrating from vista to windows 7.
3. It is costly compare to other windows varient.

If you are on Windows XP and vista and want good user interface, you should go for it.It will give you new feel and good battery life to your machine.

As windows was the most used operating system in PCs and laptops powered by Microsoft the most useful thing that i was seen in windows 7 is its ease of operations a person without knowledge on computer can be easily gets usage by windows 7 OS it gives me a multiple task performing option with more efficiency .It is easy to use the service was really fantastic .

The main draw back that i have seen in windows 7 is the update im not able to get any type of updates now as it makes the system easily prone to some malwares and security threats .Time to time updation of os is need in order to get rid of the issues.

Windows 7 has the look and feel of the great windows operating systems. The start button is an obvious feature that should remain for ever. It also has the additional concept of being what an OS should be, something in the background to run programs. Its should not be the focus or really thought of when being productive. Simple and elegant are the way to go. Windows 7 is the container for all your productivity software.

Windows 7 only lacks the intuitiveness of what the later operating systems bring to the table. It functions great I wish they would have upgraded it with the newest features while retaining the look and feel of what it currently is.

Windows 7 is a stable easy to use platform for running all types of software and connecting easily to the internet. The simplicity and ease of use are appealing unfortunately Microsoft has stopped support for the product and will no longer design security updates for the operating system. This makes it unworkable for business and cautionary for home use. If you have an older machine with the system on it use it only for non security related use. Do not do any financial or business on the system.

The personalize option for Display option has been a great upgrade and the ability to slideshow Desktop Background that got introduced in Windows 7 definitely favored Windows 7. It definitely became easier for IT team since previously used OS was Vista, if it has been XP there was no upgrade option available

The default music app for Windows 7 could be a major improvement for Windows . They can definitely improve the quality of Windows Media Player, sometimes there will be major lag in different formats.

The major improvements made to Windows 7 over XP and Vista makes it more desirable and easy to use operating system with great capabilities.

Primary OS being used with all its all apps and functionalities in internal environment. The addition of Aero Peek has definitely helped the case of Windows 7 since if we hover the app we were getting recent file options, pin to taskbar and closing options. So while working on so many things it has helped amazingly in making work easier and keeping headache at lower level. The keyboard shortcuts has been again a major improvement in Windows 7.The new Task bar has been major improvement in making it more favorable for all IT companies in order to maintain multi-tasking. The ability of grouping multiple instances of same program has been a big help to people working on many instances of same program simultaneously. The display has been improved greatly. The troubleshooting feature introduced has been again a great feature providing great assistance in troubleshooting by ourselves.
