It works as a fysical meeting room. Whereby has all the bells and wistles as the other, but is straight forward and easy. During the pandemic we also had the experience of an always open Channel for all coworkers, coming and going without the hassle of logging in. It has been a valuble tool for keeping the social framework intact dispite working from home. **What do you dislike about Whereby Meetings?** There is not much i dislike. It take a bit of bandwith to have it on best quality and it sucking batterypower quite a bit. **Recommendations to others considering Whereby Meetings:** The only digital meeting plattform you'll need! **What problems is Whereby Meetings solving and how is that benefiting you?** All our needs for a digital meeting plattform is taken care of. It's not bad, but it can be unpredictable, and the connection can stop at times. No deskop software download and waiting for installation for new users and team members. The mobile app is super easy, except when sharing Miro. I appreciate the integrations with Integration with Google Drive, Trello, Miro and YouTube. Great for small and growing teams needing a quick permanent URL for regular meetings. Costs are very low compared to other video conferencing solutions. I love that I can put a bookmark button in my browser and be in a meeting in seconds, instead of having to log in to Zoom several times during the day to start a meeting. Super platform-agnostic - just need a web browser. New features, like breakout rooms, are wonderful. I've been a user since 2014 when it was Appear.in, and I love the direction. Please don't stop adding features! **What do you dislike about Whereby Meetings?** Functionality is growing, but not as robust as Zoom (but also not as resource-heavy). The mobile app on Android struggles with Miro sharing (always hangs) and requires the exact URL of shared items for other integrations. No ability to share screen on a mobile device. Recordings haven't always worked, and are not stored in the cloud, so are lost if not downloaded - or stop if out of space on a phone. Also, YouTube and other video audio are not captured by the recordings. **Recommendations to others considering Whereby Meetings:** Don't expect Whereby to be a huge, robust video meeting and screen sharing solution, but it is good for quick, small, one-off implementations. As software, I don't believe it is enterprise-ready, but getting closer. Perfect solution for small-and-medium-sized businesses who want a free or low-cost solution or backup solution to primary service.
