Volunteers can set their hours and we can see when and where we can schedule them so that their talents are being used in the most effective manner. The software is also user friendly and even many of our non computer literate associates get the hang of WhenToHelp very quickly. I've also enjoyed WhenToHelp's phone app that allows me to create and post shifts for my workers and also communicate with them directly if the occasion calls for it. As user friendly as it is, the online application can be confusing to first timers and freezes at times, I occasionally have to check the website to see if shift changes and new shifts ended up being posted.
