I asked someone once if you are starting an Airbnb what one thing you wish you knew about before starting is, and their answer was UseWheelhouse! Don't leave money on the table! I know from experience that I make more money than I ever would have imagined by allowing Wheelhouse to manage my pricing. The only downside is I wish they offered a mobile app version to control and manage your account, but with so many features, its understandable why it's only accessible in a desktop version or from your phone browser, but hopefully they create an app to increase ease of use. Wheelhouse makes it possible for hosts to stay on top of their pricing without checking their phones every single day to update pricing. Once, wheelhouse caught that an event was happening in my area before I did, automatically triggered the gap day rule and I got a one night booking for over $700 (normally my average floats around $250 a night). I like the chat feature, so I can get help at any time. How Wheelhouse is set up seems be easier for me to navigate vs other pricing software. The algorithms Wheelhouse uses are perfect for my short term rental business. Once set up, I can copy and paste my preferences to all my properties and get an easy advantage over competitors when offering the best prices on any given day. Charging 1% for each booking where the price is defined by Wheelhouse is exactly what I was looking for. If others charge more than 1%, this would be a deal breaker for me. Customer support has been easy so far. I use the pricing tool for each of my properties (i.e. daily?) and I'm not looking back to the times I didn't use it. Charging 1% of every booking made via a price calculated by Wheelhouse also means that if someone has a laaarge booking for thousands of Euros, I believe I would still pay the fee, even if they cancel their stay and don't come at all.
