From the very first contact, I have been impressed by the attention and the urgency shown by the Whatfix team. From the buying process to the actual implementation and the ongoing support, they have been like an extension of our own internal support team rather than an external organization. Raise any issue, the support team is there to help you!
As for the product itself, it started of as a simple "click & create" your own help topics for our complex Salesforce processes but then slowly transformed to an actual digital adoption platform.
You can create,
1. Starter packs for your new user on-boarding
2. Announce new features to all your users or selected users
3. Help is available to all users when they need it and within the Salesforce Application
4. Automatically converts your step by step guides to Pdfs and videos, making it easier to document the processes and to share with your users
5. New features and improvements are rolled out frequently Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing to dislike whatfix as a product or the company but if I were to point out something, once you start creating flows(step by step guides) for really complex business processes ( too many if conditions and you expect the user to change the action depending on the condition), as a content creator, you may need to start learning a little bit about HTML CSS selectors, which may not be easy for everyone. It is not really a whatfix issue but you may experience this as you go deeper into the implementation and maintenance of complex flows. Whatfix helps you to solve this issue by making sure the support team is ever ready to pitch in and help you with the CSS selectors. So in actual the only action you need to do is just contact support! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Whatfix has been a game-changer for our organization’s digital adoption strategy. The platform’s guided walkthroughs and on-demand help have empowered our employees to navigate complex systems confidently. We use for our HRIS, ERP, and a few other applications that regularly experience user confusion. The flexibility of Whatfix to create detailed, step-by-step flows has made training and onboarding seamless.
The customization options allow us to tailor content to specific user groups, improving our support and engagement efforts significantly. The analytics dashboard provides valuable insights into user behavior, which helps us continually optimize our content. The support from the Whatfix team has been excellent as well—they are responsive and proactive in helping us achieve our goals. From the very beginning, we have had a white glove treatment/approach to support, and we can't speak highly enough about our experience!
Whatfix is an invaluable tool that has reduced our support requests and made complex tools accessible across all levels of our organization. We highly recommend it to any team looking to improve user adoption and reduce training costs! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a learning curve to the platform, and sometimes there are nuances to ensuring the content works right for each page. The team has been helpful with resolving any issues in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Prompt, reliable customer service from our customer success manager. Additionally, the product works exactly as advertised!
Our CSM always prioritizes our business needs and is willing to go above and beyond to provide us with solutions that work with us. This includes the prompt return of emails and phone calls, solution oriented customer service, and willingness to escalate any issues that we're encountering until they are promptly and satisfactorily resolved. Flows sometimes timeout. This is a limitation of the technology and often user error. However, it is hard to tell via analytics whether or not it is user error or another reason. This is something that Whatfix is actively addressing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The amount of options and flexibility allowed in creating the different content types is amazing. We can't wait to get all our content laid out and see the benefits to our customers. Whatfix support is also amazing in their response time and responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It will take some time to build up all the content that we need but that's to be expected with something like this. Also, some of the different customizations and element selections require more than a basic level of knowledge with Javascript/CSS selectors and such which can be difficult to learn on your own. Whatfix has been a game changer when helping to support the onboarding of new users to our platforms. We can easily set up task lists and flows to help guide new users through the platform with support. It gives our new users confidence as they master workflows.
The customer service at Whatfix is top-notch! I have worked with several individuals at Whatfix and they are truly there to help and support in any way they can. If you are willing to invest the time, you will not be disappointed with Whatfix! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't really say this is a dislike, but there is a learning curve. However, Whatfix has a plethora of resources to help support you as you learn. I have done online courses and worked 1-on-1 with members of their to team to help me feel confident in my knowledge and use of Whatfix. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From our first communication we've been greeted by professional and friendly Team Members from Whatfix. The step-by-step on-boarding process has enabled us to quickly learn and implement this tool into our Training Program. And our weekly touch base has allowed us to grow in Whatfix Knowledge and stay on track for our implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything has been great, there has been nothing negative about our experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, our company uses WhatFix for many things. Self-help, storing reference guides, pop-ups, user workflow assistance, etc., for our customers to use our product. It helps our customers better understand how to use our SaaS tool.
I recently used the WhatFix survey functionality to implement an NPS In-App survey for my company. There was a bit of a learning curve for me and a few tweaks we needed to make, but the survey was a success after testing well, and we are looking forward to using it again in the future. We did do some customization for our survey with their development team and she was really easy to work with and a great communicator.
Their customer success team and support live chat are exceptional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot think of anything in particular I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In our experience, Whatfix has been a huge time-saver. We no longer have to rely on our internal development teams or wait through lengthy development cycles—we can handle most tasks on our own. When we need custom publishing with logical steps or even JavaScript support, the Whatfix team is always there to help. Their expertise is impressive. I love how their support team goes above and beyond. They’re front-end geniuses and can assist with any challenge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing wrong with Whatfix—they're always improving their features and adding new ones to make things easier for us. Plus, our Customer Success Manager, Siddhart, is always checking in to see if we need anything. He quickly answers our questions and handles whatever we ask him. We provided virtual professional development for adult learners. One of our primary goals is to allow them as much agency as possible to guide their own experience and spend their time in a way that feels effective. A big part of the effective use of their time is getting in-app support right when they need it. Whatfix has been an important addition to our overall system of support for our learners.
I also can't speak highly enough about the implementation team that helped get to an initial launch. Thoughtful, professional, and supportive. They walked us through a clear process that felt strategic and like a true collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With any sophisticated tool, there is a bit of a learning curve for sure. Not necessarily a plug-and-play sort of tool but that is not what we were looking for either. However, their team helped walk us through all of this with both asynchronous learning and live event training support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing that sticks out to me most about WhatFix is its wide range of resourceful tools. From workflows to the ability to integrate with our knowledge base, WhatFix continues to provide easy-to-use tools to help facilitate our users thus giving them a better overall experience. There isn't much I dislike about WhatFix. I appreciate the work they do and the support they provide. I do wish there was more automation to analytics and have brought that up, which I feel good about considering they do a good job of listening to requests and making something their customers will enjoy. The training and support to launch complex guided workflows and self help tools. There are multiple options to provide just in time support and information so users can complete their work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you're not careful with how you configure things you can end up with too many distracting pop-ups. To avoid this, test each scenario to ensure you didn't over-do the help tips. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
