What do you like best about Whale?
Whale is super easy to use and roll-out. It has an engaging user interface which is streets ahead of what we used to use for our internal SOPs (SharePoint) and has massively enhanced our ability ensure that all of our employees have the most up-to-date company processes, procedures and guidless at their fingertips at all times. It has a number of great features that make it simple to capture, share and track readership of key company content - such as simple but powerful video capture, training flows, read assigments etc. And the web-plug in is a game-changer - this has allowed us to easily surface some key application guidance inside our own webapps, using the same Whale content that can be searched at any time.
What do you dislike about Whale?
The only (minor) negative is that the content editor is a bit basic. It has a numgber of built in styles (which you can change font type, colour, size etc) but for things like paragraph spacing before and after headings, it is a bit limited. Also, the search feature could be better - it's great at finding cards with the search term in them, but then you have to do a CTRL-F (Find) to actually locate your search text inside the card.
What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing current information easily. Simplifying SOP creation for everyone in the business. Enabling us to find information with minimal clicks.

It's very easy to use & find all SOPs for our company in one spot!
What do you dislike about Whale?
I wish Whale had auto save! There have been a few times where an SOP was lost due to not hitting save, but optherwise has been great!

Finding processes for other departments & being able to share ours.

What do you like best about Whale?
As the Operations Manager of a growing company, Whale has created a product that is allowing me to create the SOP's that we need in one central location, I am able to tag in other Collaborators and share out the playboooks with ease. I love that i can add in links from our other platforms. It is very simple to go back and edit cards as needed. Intergating our files from our drives and AI generation and has been a huge time saver for us.
What do you dislike about Whale?
It would be great if Whale would auto save the documents as we are creating them. Would like to be able to export to more documents to more than PDF. It would be great if Whale integrated with Monday.com
What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a platform for in which we can easily create our SOPS and maintain them.
"The Best Product for Company Wide Collaboration on SOPs, Training, and Document Management!"
What do you like best about Whale?
I feel that Whale was created for me. As COO of my company, it can be overwhelming to manage corporate SOPs, onboarding, and user training, along with having a single source of truth for document management. Whale has given me the ability to share this burden throughout the company with assigned experts to manage each of these areas going forward. The review reminder process is great. The ability to create training flows and AI-generated quizzes has been a game-changer for us. Since we deal with customer contracts and P&Ps, having a centralized repository for these documents is great. No longer am I searching for the latest iteration of these documents. Card Analytics is great for tracking revisions and having an audit trail of user changes. Whale has many more features but what surprised me the most is how efficient this software is making my company. Or, should I say, it's showing us how inefficient we were in these areas. Whale's onboarding team has been great. Katrina and Stino have been excellent at making sure I would be successful using Whale. Once you get into it, it's very intuitive.
What do you dislike about Whale?
Whenever I think something is missing from Whale, a new release comes out and it's there. The folks at Whale take customer feedback seriously. There is nothing I dislike or have concerns with. It's a great company with a great product.
What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whale's ease of use has us churning out a searchable knowledge base that has made us way more efficient. The Chrome plug-in to search our documentation in Whale has reduced the number of inquiries to each department for specific docs. It's all about efficiency. Whale has delivered.

What do you like best about Whale?
I enjoy the lightbulb so I can bookmark things I use on the daily and are just a quick click away. I also enjoy how quick and easy the website is, so user friendly!
What do you dislike about Whale?
The biggest dislike of Whale is not being able to copy and past and make everything the same font type and size. It is a hassle to have to copy current SOP's into a word document and add the update we need to and make everything the same font and size and copy it back into Whale. Just makes extra unnecessary steps.
What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whale solves our propblem of trying to find the most updated SOP. Instead of endlessly searching our Teams folders we can type in the Whale search bar and have the most updated SOP available to ensure efficient work flow.

What do you like best about Whale?
Their Google Chrome plugin to have your sop show at other sites than the Whale platform too. This is so helpful that my colleagues don't always need to remember everything but can look it up via the plugin.
What do you dislike about Whale?
There are no outstanding issues with the platform. It does exactly what we expect it to do.
What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?
I could never find what I needed for certain tool we use. (and we use many). With the plugin this is solved. And if the plugin does not show it, I can still go into the Whale website and just search there and find it.

What do you like best about Whale?
Whale is a great software that meets every need we were looking for as a Marketing team. It's very robust & you can keep track of all your tasks on a very efficient way. Also I love the idea behind the extension - pro-actively sharing knowledge via the extension pulled me over the finish line - even the easiest FAQ is now answered in 0 seconds because the extension knows what need to pop up wheren.
What do you dislike about Whale?
It's very manual to install the suggestions. Once everything is installed, it's ep-ic but it can take some time so don't wait long to do it. Start while you're creating your documentation in Whale.
What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?
Structuring our knowledge base & assets. Our team works more cohesive & more efficient because now actually everyone is using the SAME process.

What do you like best about Whale?
Not Angela Basset, but Whale did the thing when it comes to SOP Management & Training your employees. The ease of the interface & the amazing onboarding experience are some true gems of this company. Everything is tied in nicely in each other which makes it a real joy to work with.
What do you dislike about Whale?
Nothing so much this far. It's very easy to use & our queries get picked up very smoothly! Maybe a HEX color picker could be nice but it appeared on the roadmap.
What problems is Whale solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whale helps me onboard new hires much more quicker. Where we lost so much time training & guiding new hires, with Whale, we do that by half the time. Also for retraining our current staff it helps us out to keep everyone on the same level

What do you like best about Whale?
Whale allows for a neat and organized place to document all processes and procedures. The ability to add in embedded video and images all from the builder helps streamline the documentation process. The platform can be setup to tell you when it is time to review all of your documentation at an interval you determine. No more forgetting about having to review your SOPs. The assignment function in Whale is great. When something is updated or new, you can assign that SOP to the team for review and the system tells you who has and hasn't completed the training. Overall it is a game changer for our company. All SOPs in one place, everything documented and the automations will make onboarding a new hire so much more efficient.
What do you dislike about Whale?
So far have I have no found anything I dislike about the platform. It is easy to use, intuitive and extremely user friendly.

With Whale we no longer are searching for training material. Everything is in one place and there are no duplicates of training documents.

What do you like best about Whale?
We are a very process-oriented firm and came to Whale with hundreds of process documents already created. Whale is helping us optimize and go to the next level!
We find Whale easy and intuitive to set up, navigate, and use, and the customer support has been AMAZING. Even though, we are still onboarding—and so do not yet have our final structure in place—we can already find ANY process document within a few seconds (using Whale's handy search feature).
Finally, Stino is a delight to work with. Our firm did the Success Services package (where Whale does the migration for you—recommended), so Stino and I have been in regular contact over a series of meetings plus emails. The Whale team is very responsive, encouraging, and knowledgeable—and Stino has kept things both moving along and fun.
What do you dislike about Whale?
Almost nothing! The few things that have come up for us (such as a wish to integrate with Dropbox), Stino has assured us are already on the Developers' "feedback wall." We anticipate seeing continued new features and upgrades as Whale grows.

Whale is helping us organize LARGE amounts of processes—easily! We are a very process-centric firm, and—prior to Whale—our large library of process documentation was filed in Word and PDF documents, which were not easy to navigate. In contrast, Whale has made everything searchable and user-friendly. Also, with Whale, it is much easier to create, request, and share new documentation.
