**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

I like WebTMA because the UI is simple, straightforward, and customizable, making it very user-friendly. The reporting features allow us to track work, cost, and identify problem locations effectively. The ease of queries and dashboards is very streamlined, enabling us to work efficiently in a lean environment. The mobile app complements well, helping us assign work orders to technicians in the field and track work, cost, time, and parts.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

I find some of the interface elements in WebTMA problematic, mainly the certain menus that don't move or minimize. It can be frustrating that some search screens require you to type the exact wording instead of accepting keywords, which makes searching a hassle sometimes. The user permission settings can be confusing as they can override each other, and it takes time to understand how they interact. Also, I wish the selection menus were more flexible, as they are static and require me to memorize details or open a separate screen to review them.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WebTMA keeps our work requests organized, accessible by multiple users, and allows assigning tasks on the go. It tracks work, cost, and time efficiently. Reporting helps us address high request issues, and customizable dashboards and queries offer quick, precise data.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

It is a great tool for all Facilities Management staff at Minnesota State University Mankato. It is easy to use for all staff.  The customer service team is very helpful and quick to respond to any questions or concerns you have.  When we implemented Web 7 it went smoothly with little disruption in service. Overall TMA is a great value for your money.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

More of the add-on's came with the initial program. Like fleet maintenance or custodial/room checks.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have no problems at this time.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

WebTMA’s mobile capabilities have proven to be efficient and easy for technicians to use. It improves efficiency and saves time by eliminating paper. The barcode scanning for parts has also proven to be helpful.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

The reporting capabilities could be improved by adding graphs and a wider range of graphical reporting options.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We implemented the UFI (Universal Financial Interface) and the UPI (Universal Purchasing Interface), which has dramatically reduced redundancy and eliminated duplicate steps across several work processes.

Tracking work orders gives us a straightforward way to record expenses and charge them back to the appropriate departments.  Their customer support is always helpful and quick to respond.

Historically, I love how TMA listens to their users and adjusts their software to best meet their needs.

No complaints.  All complaints TMA has resolved.

Work history allows us to justify capital spending and prep for Joint Commission inspections.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

WebTMA has  a great number of options and features, reporting capabilities, trackers, and inspection tools.  The mobile app capabilities are a big plus.  Their customer service and client services are top notch.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

My biggest limitation for using WebTMA is that I didn't get formal training from the Admin before me.  It is easy to learn with the tutorials and support is a good resource for assistance.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The mobile app has made inspections easier to accomplish and report on findings.  That makes filing reports with the state much easier and faster.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

Creating tickets is not complex. Straightforward and easy to track outcomes. I do like many of the features offered by the product.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

SLAs are vague. Tickets take anywhere from a few days to months to resolve (specifically post upgrade tickets). Customer View data models are not clearly communicated - you get some API info, but no data models. Reporting within TMA is limited to window content and is not based on the datastores, this adds a layer of complexity and means Report Writer changes will often take longer.  Moving TMA data into an onsite data warehouse is tricky, based on the intergation options you have. Tickets escalated to Engineering can take a VERY long time to reach resolution (months not weeks). There is NO testing to speak of before TMA places anything into production on the TMA side unless you consider the analyst or engineering doing a test on their laptop and stating it worked for them acceptable.  There is no user testing catalog to leverage either - we asked for one when we upgraded to v7.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Business Process efficiencies are improved when capabilities work as expected. There is a big learning curve when you move from v5 to v7...they are not at all alike. End Users and Administrators must learn many fundamental differences in behavior across v5 and v7 experiences. Because the underlying data models changed, much of what was delivered in v5 will look, feel, and operate differently in v7.   Most of the capabilities in v7 are the same capabilities we leveraged in v5.
We did opt to try out the Key Module and we do not recommend adopting this until TMA has had time to work with us (as an early adopter) to clean it up and significantly improve its reliability and data integrity.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

Customer support for the product has been excellent over the years. The support team is often able to help resolve the issue in the initial contact. We have also had sales and support create customized features within the platform to meet our ongoing needs and use cases. Overall, the product was easy to initially implement with the assistance of TMASystems support team during the work order conversion process as well as helping with intergration with other interal systems.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

The onboarding and familiarizing of new users to the WebTMA interface can be steep for some and it will require more time and training to understand all the features and capabilities.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use WebTMA to help solve two problems in our district. The first was to have a common platform for work orders between or Facilities and IT areas. The previous work order system did not meet many of the needs of our facilities area in preventitive maintenece, cost centers, and reporting. The second was the ability to consolidate different inventory systems into one product.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

The work request and work order modules of TMA are in daily use to assist us in supporting work needs for the Chapman community as well as providing management decisions for the running of the physical plant(s) of Chapman University.  The PM program assists our supervisors with the maintainance of building equipment systems.  The mobileTMA GO app is easily installed on the phones of our techs allowing them to electronically receive/manage work orders and labor while out in the field. The Materials Management module allows us to manage our parts stock room including the use of barcode technology.  When needed, TMA customer technical support provides assistance until any interruptions in service are resolved.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

We are still in production on WebTMA 5 and are looking forward to moving to WebTMA 7.  As a result, we have no dislikes about WebTMA but instead are looking forward to moving to the new WebTMA 7 platform.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WebTMA provides tools which allow us to respond quickly to resolve needs as they happen.  Some of those tools are listed below:
- iSD work requests are easily accessible and easy to use for those in the Chapman Community requiring assistance.
- The work order module allows us to respond to the Chapman community to resolve problems that have been reported through iSD as well as email and phone calls.
- The work order browse feature allows access to data to answer questions that might arise throughout each day.  This feature also allows queries for work order statistical reporting to assist in management decisions, i.e. tracking of graffiti incidents, work orders received by a trade for a specified timeframe, etc.
- MyPage tabs are helping us in various ways by allowing managemenet of unscheduled work orders, processing of work requests, work order backlogs, status of protective equipment stock, as well as many other tracking needs.

WebTMA is intuitive for the end-users, which helps minimize confusion for those who are not technically savvy. The support offered is adequate when needed, and customer support is exceptional.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

The one thing about WebTMA which causes me concern is the companies' focus away from on-premise users. I know that hosted data has advantages, but many of us prefer to manage our data on location. They do support on-premise customers but are vocal about the disadvantages - from their perspective.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WebTMA is an excellent repository of information used daily to drive business decisions related to equipment renovation or replacement and deferred maintenance versus customer-funded space renovation.

The modular nature of the software.  You only have to buy the parts you need.  Easy to use and training new people is a smooth process.  
The support people are excellent.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

Some of the modules get complex and expensive.  This is to be expected with complex solutions though.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Materials management module is excellent.  Inventory is a snap.
The immediate feedback that the work order module provides to our clients is terrific.   Prior to implementation of TMA, the feedback to clients was poor and slow.  This is very important to customer satisfaction.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

As a customer since 2011, we love using WebTMA. WebTMA is great in that it stores our work order history.  The data is easily accessible to pull reports.  I like the executive dashboard features that let you customize your views. I have all my shop's work orders displayed under my work control tab.  We have our system hosted through TMA and we don't have to worry about data backups because TMA does it all for us. TMA's helpdesk has always been great at responding and solving any issue promptly.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

The only dislike I have is some of the report writing is difficult, but we are using WebTMA5 and I am waiting to upgrade to WebTMA 7. All my current issues will be resolved when we upgrade to the latest version.

**Recommendations to others considering WebTMA:**

Give WebTMA a try when considering a new system.  We love using it.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WebTMA enables our organization to keep track of work orders across campus. The data that is stored helps us advocate for more funding to maintain the campus and the buildings. WebTMA makes it easy for us to input, track and look up work orders and purchase requisitions.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

WebTMA is simple and straight-forward.  When I first started using TMA, I had experience on another CMMS, but not TMA.  The TMA system was easy to navigate and figure out, even before I completed any of the training.  I work for a private university and we do not have a dedicated CMMS support staff.  Fortunately, TMA doesn't require one.  The system is extremely consistent from screen to screen so that once you learn the basic navigation, you can handle virtually anything in the system.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

The least helpful thing about TMA is the way that preventive maintenance tasks stack.  I would prefer to be able to stack based on frequency.  The way that TMA does it is by task codes, so there have to be task codes that are repetitive for different frequencies.  It's not an insurmountable problem; it's just not the way that I prefer it.

**Recommendations to others considering WebTMA:**

If you are looking for a CMMS that is straight-forward and easy to administer without a lot of back-end IT support, you should definitely be looking at TMA.  Service is excellent, and the customer portal is loaded with training materials that are helpful for both new users and continuing users looking to enhance their skills or brush up.  The SaaS (cloud solution) has been reliable and was an easy migration from our self-hosted WebTMA database.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With each passing year, we are able to granularize our data to be able to provide more specific outcomes.  We are able to generate reports that feed our Key Performance Indicators, or KPI's, and those in turn help us to tell our story to administration.  Prior to using WebTMA, our school printed paper work orders; thanks to MobileTMAGo, our technicians are totally paperless, recording time, parts and comments on work orders and adding finish dates when they are complete.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

TMA is a user-friendly system that is easy for non-technical technicians to understand.  Technical support is helpful and takes product suggestions as well as trouble tickets.  Dashboards and reporting tools make information easy to view for both operational and analytical purposes.  Add-on modules such as fleet management or custodial management are available that greatly enhance the footprint of the application for Facilities Management uses.

The stores module could have more advanced functionality.

TMA has become the source for logging Facilities maintenance needs and recording outcomes.  Including:

Monitoring and recording the full lifecycle of a work request from initial request to scheduling and performing work to billing for labor and materials.  
Preventative Maintenance.  
Stores operations.  
Custodial inspections.  
Tracking physical keys.  
Vehicle rentals and repairs.  
Monitoring and billing for utility usage.  
Capital Planning & project management.

This enables us to be able to perform reporting and analysis that combines data from across multiple functional groups.

What I like most about WebTMA is the ease of having all of our information in one place. Also the ability to manage how other team members view their data. Other applications that I have used do not have the same user experience or the same type of support we get with TMA.

Since the WebTMA 7 upgrade, I have yet to find anything I dislike about the system.

TMA has solved the issue of tracking how much in-house work is being done at each building and how much it is costing us. This has helped us figure out where our resources should be added. It's saved us a lot of money when it comes to knowing if we need to outsource work.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

It is easy for anyone on campus to submit a work order request.  The dashboards make it easy for supervisors and managers to know the status of work in their area.
All our technicians use mobile devices with ease for their interaction with the system.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

Our process for tracking utility usage is not handled within WebTMA, so we have a homegrown app on the side.
We are eagerly waiting for the newest release of WebTMA!

Our work orders  and our inventory are managed through WebTMA.  Our inventory accuracy is great and moving material to the work order and into the field is efficient.

**What do you like best about WebTMA?**

TMA manages everything. If you want it to do something just call the support line and 9 times out of 10 it is already set up to do it. If not they can customize the system to you. We are in the process of upgrading to TMA 7, can't wait! Looks so much better and more friendly for the user.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

That I don't know everything about the system. I learn short cuts by calling the support center. Some of the printed material in version 5, you have to think like a developer to interpret the material.

**Recommendations to others considering WebTMA:**

When I was looking at all different facilities software I made sure that the one system I picked had everything I need to run my whole department. TMA checked off all of my needs.

It creates all of my reports. Tracks all my technicians hours and tasks. I can fine tune queries to find he exact information I am looking for. Keeps track of different types of work orders.

Does a superb job with the core functionality of work orders.  Very strong preventative maintenance piece.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

The stores inventory piece lacks some inventory controls that I think it should have.

**Recommendations to others considering WebTMA:**

Talk with organizations of similar size and structure who are current users.  There is not prescribed way to set it the data, see how others do it.  It will give you things you want or don't want to do.

We use it to track and bill maintenance work for a campus of 130 buildings with over 6 million square feet.  Additionally we track landscape work and bill back when needed.  Currently implementing custodial module.

I have been using an old version for 11 years and the customer support has been excellent for us. We are in the process of updating to WebTMA Go, and we are excited.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

It has been hard for me to navigate without the proper initial training, but I think that will be resolved when we upgrade.

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking of job costing, inventory maintenance and control, work order completion and report capabilities. Time management and equipment tracking. We plan to also implement preventative maintenance as well going forward.

Work order system along with the iService Desk to do work order requests.  Also, I like the WebTMA  GO so technicians do not have to be at a computer to update time etc. to work orders.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

In the custodial module, I do not like the fact that you cannot see who the assigned custodian is on the inspection itself.  It makes it difficult when trying to do reporting on this information.

Custodial inspections allow us to confirm that the work being completed by our custodians meets the guidelines that have been defined by our organization.    We can tell who is doing the job correctly and who is slacking.

meters are not integrated into the work orders for ease of seeing when a service was done for that asset without having to write it into the request for easy viewing

I can track all work done in buildings, by equipment, asset, vehicles, etc.  We mostly use this for work orders and dashboard.  No other programs.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

I like to use keyboard shortcuts....I HATE using the mouse!  I'm sure there is a way with this, but I lost all of that when we went from Desktop (I think!)  I could probably be very wrong!!

I do like the all the guages that you can put on your workspace. This allows you to view at a quick glance all the WO that you have open. I also use it to keep track of all the work that has been done to let me know how efficient I am.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

I do wish the GUI interface was a little easier to use. It is a little clunky at times doing some processes just taking too many steps. A slicker interface would help with these issues.

**Recommendations to others considering WebTMA:**

Just to work on the ease of use of the GUI. Round out the edges and make it easier to navigate through.

It helps us to be able to keep up and organize work orders that come in and allow us to use to write PO's. The biggest benefit is one location that all the information funnels too. This allows for better organization.

I like that clinic managers can submit their own maintenance requests, so that I don't get hundreds of emails every day.

**What do you dislike about WebTMA?**

I don't like that only one person can add locations or make edits.  I have to wait a very long time to be able to submit requests.  I also have problems when there are required fields with nothing populated in the drop down.

**Recommendations to others considering WebTMA:**

Make sure you have all the bugs worked out before "going live" company-wide.

I think that once we get all the info accurately entered in the system, it will help us to keep on track with maintenance requests and jobs.

WebTMA is a great solution in normal business but it has been a struggle to get it to work for our applications.  We have a to make significant adjustments to accommodate the system but after almost 4 years it seems to be running pretty well.

Not the best for every application of use, for our company we have specific inspections for attractions and creating those inspections and generating them is not the easiest and wish there could be a module of some kind to help facilitate those.

Easier to import or create inspections also an easier way to create preventive maintnenance

**What problems is WebTMA solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of our work order more easily and inspections.  Another benefit I have realized has been the accountability we have had for not just our technicians but as well as our customers that we serve.

Product is not up-to-date. Even though it is formatted it does not truly work on a mobile app. The recordkeeping is the best portion of the system.

online applications does not work it did not work on the mobile absolutely you did not work on android but it didn't work on an iPhone. As we were told it was still being developed this was back in 2014.

It's tempting to streamline the process of building engineers would be able to work on the no work.
