"Finally a simple and lightweight public roadmap application"
What do you like best about ProductLift?

I was looking for a new public roadmap for the startup company I am in. I've had past experience with UserResponse (which was too hard to manage after many years), and ProductBoard (which had too many features that I didn't need to use). After some comparisons I found Product Lift to be the perfect fit for us. The major things we needed were a public roadmap, a way to let customers submit ideas and leave comments, a way to hide user comments from the public side (moderation - because people get nasty), and the ability to see the users that signed up to engage with us. I loved finding out that their product also included User Groups that we can categorize users with, Custom CSS for branding, and Widgets that let us integrate into our SaaS platform. I also can't wait to check out the KB space because I also need to build articles soon, so this may solve another problem on my horizon. And the AI help throughout the interface, I'll be cautiously testing as well to see how it can save me time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ProductLift?

This may not be the typical use case for ProductLift. We have an online course and membership. ProductLift allows members to suggest changes, improvements, and new ideas for our membership or course. Why is this important?Allowing users to give direct input fosters a stronger connection, keeps them informed and engaged, and builds trust and a sense of community. There are a couple of reasons why having ProductLift helps our business as well.

Centralizing feedback helps reduce the number of support messages we receive. It also eliminates the need for spreadsheets, databases and other SaaS apps to achieve what ProductLift does. Users can add to the "Wishlist" of things they would like to see added or changed. They can see the Roadmap of where we are going with the product both now and in the future. Additionally, they can vote on any item at any stage of the process as well as comment. This creates a clear picture for us of what the hot buttons are for the majority of users and guides us in planning what happens next. When the users see these changes happening via updates they feel a part of the company and its future. They know that we care.

What we really love about ProductLift is the level of customization. We can really change most things so that the platform represents our brand. For example, we can:

- Customize all the colors and put in our own custom CSS to get it just the way we like it. Use our own domain and white label the product and use Webhooks to integrate with other platforms.

- Customize all the tabs and boards to suit the way we work and to create a clear and concise system for our users.

- Insert images and videos. This is really helpful if we want to explain our idea and illustrate it for user feedback.

- Make use of the features to avoid spam and duplicate posts, saving us admin time.

- Internally, use the platform to discuss and share comments and ideas. Additionally, email someone to seek further clarification or arrange a meeting to discuss an idea. We also have the option to pin and secure comments.

We compared various products similar to ProductLift and also explored other product combinations. However, in the end, we chose ProductLift because it offers us the convenience of a single platform, helps us manage feedback efficiently, and makes our users feel involved in the development of our membership. What do you dislike about ProductLift?

It is so hard to find something that is missing! If anything it would be great to see direct integrations with some of the mail providers so that we can pull users directly from our database. You can navigare and use ProductLift with ease! The UI is a bit complexfor a newbie to ProductLift, it might get overwhelming, but should be fine withing a few days.

The Features Provided: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

ProductLift offers a great deal of features, from set-up to design. We like to brand all our assets in our color patterns and here ProductLift provide! Fantastic features in general, would love some AI features in the future!

Integration Possibilities: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

What do you like best about ProductLift?

Out of the box, this is an easy and ready tool. When you need something extra, it's a little exploring where to find a specific thing, but in the end ProductLift allows you to create your custom experience. What do you like best about ProductLift?

It is easy to manage different products and different brands under one account and give custom domains to each. The activation of SSL for our domains was very fast.

Also including the own Cookie-/GDPR-service with a script is easy to achieve.

Changing all the appearing text into own text and language makes individualisation possible.

Emails sent to customers by the ProductLift system are going into the inbox, not to spam, which is great. The appearing Name can completely be changed to your brand or product, but not the sending address. Best for GDPR, data privacy, ProductLift servers only located in Europe. What do you dislike about ProductLift?

Emails sent to customers by the ProductLift system are going to the inbox, which is great. The senders appearing name can be changed to your brand or product but not the sending email address. For most customers this is completely sufficient. Suspicious ones like me would check further, to make shure, the senders email address is legit. For beeing more trustworthy it would be even better if the CNAME/Custom Domain settings would also be reflected in the sending email address, not only the name.

But you could easily overcome this and change the email sender by using their Amazon SES or Mailgun integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ProductLift?

ProductLift tool is a best free access easy user interface tool.It's best feature is i can add any attachments to hidden from our customers. What do you like best about ProductLift?

We are early days with this, but we love the simple design and easily embeddable widgets. Looking forward to getting my clients involved in my product development lifecycle. Good documentation and helpful support team.
