"A good entry level security scanner for a nice starting"

What do you like best about WEBSITE SECURITY SCANNER?

This website security scanner is an entirely web-based vulnerability scanner that performs very quickly. Real tie quick scanning is also possible with it. There are customized categories of scanning based on users' preferences. Not only this, you will get the scanning report directly in your email. So you won't be needed to store it somewhere else. You can try it for free then if you like it, only then you can move to a paid plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WEBSITE SECURITY SCANNER?

In free plans, you will not get proper support. Also, it's a bit laggy. Besides, a high configuration computer can perform much better than a web application. It also makes the browser heavier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is WEBSITE SECURITY SCANNER solving and how is that benefiting you?

I prefer basic website security testing with it. While working with more extensive and advanced websites, I can run vulnerability scanning in my installed scanner, and I can scan basic websites through it simultaneously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Scan and detect your vulnerability"

What do you like best about WEBSITE SECURITY SCANNER?

1. the Best part is that you can implement this by routing your automation suite to tunnel thru the scanner proxy to detect any vulnerabilities in the web UI

2. You can run it as a standalone suite also you can run in along with the build to detect the vulnerabilities early in the game; this will especially help in the agile world where there will be a frequent deployment into production

3. Reports are at their best as the report not only tells us what vulnerability was detected but also the suggestion on how to fix it. (Eg. We had a CORS vulnerability in our application. With the best guidance provided in the report, it became easy for us to fix the issue then and there

4. API scanner is another best part that will help us to detect the loopholes from the backend perspective, though it was not exposed to the outside world, unlike UI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WEBSITE SECURITY SCANNER?

More than dislike, it's kind of the competency level, As an SDET, we know how to create and run the security scanner, but what matters the most is how well we are reading the report and providing suggestions to the developer, and helping in fixing the issue.

Finding False positive, True negative is a vital skill that guidelines can be added Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Highly recommended to use this tool to run in pipeline in order to reduce the security testing cost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Cost is the major problem that we have overcome using a website security scanner. In this digital world, it was highly recommended by our security team to run penetration testing once a quarter. However it's costly. So when we implemented the website security scanner and started running in the pipeline, we have reduced the penetration testing as once a year Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
