"Freedom! A tool where design intent survives the build, with strings attached"
What do you like best about Webflow?

Here's a polished version:

Webflow hits a rare sweet spot between being designer-friendly and technically powerful. The no-code approach means designers can build and ship production-ready websites without being bottlenecked by a developer, which is a huge productivity unlock for creative teams.

The integrations are solid and cover most of what you'd need in a modern web stack. But what really adds long-term value is the community. Webflow has one of the largest and most active communities in the no-code space, with a ton of resources, templates, cloneables, and forums that make it easy to learn and solve problems fast.

It also just feels like a modern tool. The underlying stack is clean, the output code is respectable, and it keeps pace with where web design is heading. For designers who want more control without diving into full-on development, Webflow is hard to beat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

The bigger concern, is long-term dependency. Once your entire web presence is built on Webflow, switching costs are high, and that gives them a lot of pricing power down the road. It's the kind of platform lock-in that's easy to overlook early on but starts to feel risky as you scale. Would be good to see more export flexibility and pricing transparency as they grow. "Quick Review About Webflow & My Workflow"
What do you like best about Webflow?

Webflow is in a league of its own. It's not just a web builder it's a design and development canvas that gives full creative control without compromising on structure or responsiveness. There's a learning curve, but that’s part of what makes it a professional tool. Once you're fluent, it feels like second nature. It’s my go-to for translating vision into pixel-perfect execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

Occasionally, there are quirks interactions or layout behavior that don’t respond as expected, especially in cross-browser testing. Whether it's due to how Webflow handles style overrides or just small UI bugs, these hiccups can interrupt flow. That said, it's never a dealbreaker, just something to be aware of in complex builds. "Powerful, Flexible, and Worth It"
What do you like best about Webflow?

Webflow gives us an outstanding balance of design freedom, control, and speed. It allows us to build professional, highly customized websites without being boxed into rigid templates, while still moving much faster than a traditional coded build in many cases. The platform is especially strong for teams that care about design, content management, and being able to make updates without relying on a developer for every change. Overall, it has been one of the best tools in our tech stack for building polished, flexible, modern web experiences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

Certain workflows still require workarounds depending on what you are trying to build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

""My Favorite Tool For Creating Stunning Websites""
What do you like best about Webflow?

I really like the updates in Webflow, especially the AI site builder. The Webflow AI site builder is really helpful because it generates a layout structure. This means I do not have to spend a lot of time making wireframes.

The Webflow component improvements are also very good. The Webflow components feel like a design system now.

Some other things are better too. For example working with others is easier. Clients can add comments, to the design without making a mess. The Webflow CMS is more flexible because it has visibility. This makes it easier to manage pages.

I think the Webflow AI site builder and all the other tools are faster and more polished than they were last year. The Webflow updates are really great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

One thing I think Webflow can improve on is its pricing. For clients it still feels a bit expensive compared to other website builders.

The learning curve for designers can be tough. There are a lot of AI tools to get used to.

Sometimes making interactions and animations work right can be tricky. I have to add custom code to get them fine-tuned.

I wish Webflow had support, for plugins and extensions like some other platforms do.

I think that would make Webflow more useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best No-Code Website Development Tool"
What do you like best about Webflow?

Webflow offers an easy and intuitive user interface for a WYSIWYG web development tool. As a web developer, I found the interface straightforward to understand from the moment I first opened it. I also appreciate that websites built on this platform are clean and free from the odd hierarchies or tags often found in other web editors. I like that their free plan gives a plenty of features without making it obvious to purchase a paid plan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

One thing I dislike is that their Basic Paid Plan, which costs $14 per month, does not include CMS features. In my opinion, the Free Plan is actually better than the Basic Plan. Although the Free Plan lacks custom code and some other features, I don't really mind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful visual front-end for complex, scalable platforms"
What do you like best about Webflow?

Webflow gives full design freedom with clean code output, responsive control, and fast publishing. The CMS structure is flexible enough for complex, multilingual, content-driven projects. I use it as a front-end layer for iGlowly.com - a fully dynamic platform, and its integration with custom code, attributes, and external APIs makes it a powerful UI engine without touching React or Vue. Animations, layout control, and visual clarity are best-in-class.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

Locales made it significantly more expensive. They are well done, but.... The 100-item CMS limit is still restrictive, especially when working with filtered lists or complex relationships. Too many wrapper divs are auto-inserted in collection-based elements, which bloats the DOM. Native filtering and sorting should be inbuilt — not reliant on third-party scripts or hacks. "A Flexible and Easy-to-Use Platform for Building and Managing Modern Websites"
What do you like best about Webflow?

I like Webflow’s combination of a highly flexible CMS and an intuitive visual development environment. It allows me to design, build, and manage complex, content-driven websites without relying heavily on code, while still offering the freedom to customize when needed. The seamless workflow between design, CMS structure, and live content editing makes projects faster, smoother, and far more enjoyable to deliver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

I dislike that Webflow can get expensive as your site grows, and some features still feel limited. There’s also a bit of a learning curve at the start, especially when trying to make pages responsive or adding animations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Design freedom without writing a single line of code"
What do you like best about Webflow?

What I like most about Webflow is that I can design my website by just clicking and moving things around, like playing with building blocks no coding needed. And behind the scenes, it still creates clean code, so the website runs fast and looks neat and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

At first, it can feel a bit hard to learn, especially if you’re new to things like how layouts and styles work. Also, the price for hosting and CMS can feel a little expensive compared to other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Overpriced Hosting and Constant Upsells Ruin the Experience"
What do you like best about Webflow?

The visual builder looks nice at first glance, and the marketing makes it feel powerful. But that initial appeal disappears quickly once you hit the hidden limitations and extra charges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

Webflow nickel-and-dimes you for absolutely everything. Hosting is overpriced for the performance you get, CMS limits are absurd unless you keep upgrading, and even basic things like form submissions, extra sites, integrations, or collaboration features all trigger additional charges. The whole platform is designed to squeeze you into constant upsells. Once you’ve put hours into building inside their proprietary system, you’re basically locked in with no easy way out. It was a horrible experience overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive and Powerful, But Some Elements Need Smoothing Out"
What do you like best about Webflow?

Very user-friendly, no-code (if you don't want to), but still has a lot of advanced features & elements you can play with. The interactions are amazing and can elevate your page quickly without the need for any code. Webflow is also compatible with Spline, which has allowed us to experiment with animated heroes and that has been really exciting! We use Webflow everyday to make edits, create components & run A/B tests, and it's very reliable (Webflow Optimized). I think the best thing about Webflow is that it's intuitive enough that anyone can use it - whether it's for an individual portfolio or a scaling company with multiple landing pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Webflow?

Some of the elements can be a bit glitchy - Spline scene blocks, dropdowns, grids. It's also nearly impossible to make a dropdown item be fullscreen, which has been one of my main obstacles lately. The items always start at the beginning of the toggle and it isn't open to change. I've tried doing 100vw and using the positioning to shift, but its a bit of a diy fix for now.
