"A Reliable Tool for Personalized Marketing Campaigns"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

My experience with WebEngage has improved over time. The platform makes it easy to segment users, organize leads, and create targeted campaigns with personalized variables. The journey builder and automation features are especially helpful in running multiple campaigns efficiently without much manual effort.

I also appreciate the analytics and reporting, which give clear insights into campaign performance and help with optimization. The UI has become more intuitive compared to earlier, making navigation smoother.

That said, there is still some scope for improvement in terms of speed and occasional lag while handling large datasets. A few advanced features could also be more user-friendly.

Overall, it’s a solid tool for marketing teams looking to scale personalized engagement and improve campaign effectiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

While the platform is feature-rich, there is still room for improvement in performance and real-time updates. Dashboard data and lead journey updates sometimes take 5–10 minutes to reflect, which can impact quick decision-making during active campaigns. Improving data refresh speed and real-time visibility would greatly enhance usability.

Additionally, simplifying some advanced configurations and improving UI responsiveness would make the platform more user-friendly, especially for new users. Faster customer support turnaround for critical issues would also be beneficial. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Mark-ops tool"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

1. The new 'Ask via AI' section in Create list is a very efficient way of creating lists with just prompts which is a very nice addition in the Webengage tool.

2. Webengage has comeup with Service accounts API key which solves for API keys maintained on a common level rather than user level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

1. Although we are hearing about CDPX being taken live and beta testing being happening. We need to have a primary key to secondary key in a single dashboard concept. As, an User is a single entity but biforcating its data into separate dashboards creates confusion on user customer engagement maintainance. Where from Dashboard 1 and Dashboard 2 doesnot talk to each other and thus we end up sending loads of customer engagement to the poor customer.

2. Although Webnengage says the time taken from an event triggered to automated sms, whatsapp, email delivery is between 0-30 secs. When checked in real time the average time duration was coming to >= 5 mins which is a lot. When asked it is told its a pipeline issue. But at the end it is a infra issue which they need to solve. We need to engage with the customer when they are interested and hot. That's when your conversion rate goes higher. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Flexible Journey Builder and Segmentation for Precise Lifecycle Messaging"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

One feature I really value is the user journey builder. It makes it much easier to map out lifecycle communication in a way that is practical. For example, if a user signs up, explores a feature, but drops off before completing a key action, I can create a targeted journey with nudges across email, push, or WhatsApp without making it feel forced. That kind of flexibility is genuinely useful.

I also like the segmentation capabilities. Being able to build cohorts based on behavior, recency, or funnel stage helps make campaigns much more precise. Instead of blasting the same message to everyone, I can reach users with something that actually matches where they are in the product experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

There are a lot of features packed (a lot of them you won't be using) into the product, which is great in theory, but in practice it can take time to understand. For a new user, it’s not always the most intuitive experience.

AMP templates (using drag and drop) is a useful feature which is still missing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Marketing Automation tool with in-depth analytics"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

The In-App notification feature has been a great channel for increasing retention and engaging users at critical junctures to win them back using winback campaigns. Also, the Rich Push notifications, including banner and carousel layouts, have been very useful in communicating the campaign intent through visual creatives and increasing our click-through rates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

The Campaign analytics only include click-through revenue, and there can be a feature to show a more detailed view of the revenue, including view-through and overall revenue generated per campaign Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"WebEngage is an effective platform for marketing automation and one-time campaigns."
What do you like best about WebEngage?

The platform allows using multiple channels and synchronising them to maximise impact on leads. Journey workflows are great for automating communication with leads and nurturing them toward conversion. It has now added a very important feature that was missing earlier - the ability to search saved email templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

The reports are not as precise and easy to understand as they should be. Conversion tracking across some channels is also inaccurate, and sometimes it's even missing. It has also gotten slower with time and can sometimes get stuck for an extended duration without any prior notice. When using old saved templates in newer emails, it takes a very long time to load, sometimes closing without getting saved and losing all progress. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy integration but lot to improve on product and support"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

really liking the new way segments are handled now. it's way more intuitive. also had to chat with their support team recently and they were super helpful with a tricky journey flow I was trying to build.. plus the reporting side of things seems to have more depth lately which is great for our weekly deep dives Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

honestly the journey builder needs more advanced logic.. like its hard to do complex if-else loops right now without it getting messy. also the customer support could be faster. sometimes when we have a technical issue it takes way too long to get a person who actually knows the backend to help out. feels like a bit of a bottleneck for us Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fantastic Features with Easy Setup"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

I use WebEngage for day-to-day operations in retention marketing, including lifecycle management journeys, retargeting, events tracking, and data analysis. I appreciate its easy-to-use UI UX, especially the clear dashboards that help with cohorting analysis. I like Live segments because they offer a lot of functionality in creating a perfect chunk of users to target and drive conversions. The funnels feature is great for understanding where users drop off so I can retarget effectively to reduce leakage. The cohort analysis is helpful for understanding trends and taking necessary actions. The initial setup was quite easy without any complications, thanks to the cooperative support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

List segments. The new rollout feature is not at all feasible to use. The earlier UI was pretty easy to navigate and use, which was same as live segments but currently, the new version is not easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Unified Data & Automated Journeys That Boost ROI"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

We’re able to integrate our data from multiple platforms into one place which us retarget our existing users more effectively and efficiently, while also keeping a close eye on ROI.

Earlier, our data was scattered across different platforms and we were operating across multiple channels. This increased a lot of manual effort. After using WebEngage, our journeys are now automated, which has reduced manual work significantly and made execution much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

As of now, there’s nothing specific that stands out as a dislike. We’re exploring different features of the platform, and overall the experience has been quite useful and promising. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Seamless Campaign Automation with Constantly Evolving Features"
What do you like best about WebEngage?

It helps automate marketing campaigns seamlessly. Other features, such as surveys, onsite tools, and personalization, are also helpful for our product. I also appreciate that new features are introduced constantly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about WebEngage?

The events analytics function could be better. The tech integration process could be smoother, with a quicker TAT. Campaign analytics also needs improvement so it reflects the right data more consistently. Catalogues and recommendations could be improved as well, as they currently don’t feel as strong as they could be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
