## Weavy Reviews
 ### 1. Most seamless chat integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Weavy is a whole package when it comes to features such as Chat, Feeds and Files.

The documentation is on point and pretty easy to understand.

The best thing is Weavy provides support even if you are still in their free account and that level of hand holding definitely helps fast track and ease the development and integration process.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

There nothing much really. But some areas of improvement would be in terms on the Notifications for P2P chat.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weavy helped us connect our internal teams to help coordinate better within themselves and our end users.

 ### 2. Great and fair chat for many applications

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

As a company that mediates customers, we had the need for a reliable chat system. So we started to go with the Weavy chat functionality, including the UI kit for the web. It's straightforward to implement, seamlessly integrating into our broker platform to facilitate customer communication. The customer support is top - we consistently receive prompt and helpful responses. Weavy's versatility is very good, making it applicable across various domains. Also the pricing model of Weavy with monthly engaged users is fair in comparison to other chat systems, where every active user is billed. Additionally, they're responsive to customer requests, often incorporating them into the software when feasible, enhancing the user experience. Our customers are using Weavy for a daily base as communion tool.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

On the downside, the documentation is somewhat brief, which can make implementation a bit challenging. Also, the lack of an SDK for Android and iOS limits Weavy's usability on mobile platforms.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weavy's chat feature facilitates communication between senders and drivers, crucial for our crowd logistics mediation company.
It helps us coordinate deliveries and record important events like delivery statuses efficiently.

 ### 3. A affordable chat tool with lots of potentials

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wayne W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

- Weavy is pretty chep compared to other chat platforms
- the UI for chats and messengers is nice and customizable
- setting up Weavy is straightforward
- supports lots of JS-framworks
- great, fast and powerfull API
- Integration with AI
- webhooks work seamlessly

And not to forget, they also provide great customer support and also nice suggestions in Discord.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

- Weavy's documentation can be confusing and occasionally inaccurate, especially regarding features like there's no uid' in the conversations, etc...
- the distinction between chats, apps, messengers, and conversations is unclear, making it challenging to understand their intended use
- no user-roles-management to control actions like creating new chats or adding users to apps.
- storage usage seems disproportionate to message volume. Clearer information on storage calculations would be helpful
- no out-of the-box support for multiple languages
- It's not possible to change the organization name on invoices.

It would be nice of you to provide several real-world-usecase examples for how to use Weavy with all those apps and features you provide and how the work together. Many things I haven't tried out yet, like Posts and Files, but they might be a great fit for the user's project. Maybe also some demos for those usecases.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

User in our platform can get in contact with each other without sharing their phone or email

 ### 4. Amazing customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Svetlozar D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

I like the versitility of their products - they are quite flexible (with numerous features) especially with the ability to customize the functionality to your particular needs. The guys at Weavy are actively developing and fixing things and they feedback seriously into consideration.
Their customer support is great! I've had several calls and chats with them about different problems I've been having with my integration and they are always quick in replying and have been really helpful.
The product can be easy to implement/integarte (even with just a few lines of code) and use, which of course depends on what you're looking to build, but the support is always there for guidance.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Some of the API lacks detailed documentation and for simple queries I often have to turn to the support.
Some of the terminoligy to distinguish between things is a bit hard to graps and differentiate (apps, conversations, messages) and what is best used in different scenarios.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Giving the ability for tutors to communicate with their students on an e-learning platform (LMS) without the need for emails.

 ### 5. Weavy for our application

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Markus . | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Everything is customizable and easy to adapt to our own companies needs without having a predefined chat experience from an sdk.
The implementation was easy and straightforward without any complications as we integrated it into our application.
The staff from weavy was very helpful and helped us in every step.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

The documentation could be a little more refined and if the staff wouldn´t have been so helpful, the implementation would have been way more complicated.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To be able for our users to inteact and engage with each other using an easy to use and failproof chat.

 ### 6. Implemented upgrade of Weavy for a client to fix issues with previous version

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Construction | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Support was really great when things wouldnt work while embedding into application. Works well once set up, super easy to use. Nick was super great as well

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

They went through a lot of changes with the packages and documentation as I was trying to implement a new solution to get rid of some of the previous errors. some of the things did not work or were not documented well but the support always came back and helped out. So my integration was not super easy and took longer than necessary. But its all good now. Also the overseas developers made it harder to get immediate feedback

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the ui-web kit solved a lot of the issues we were having. Chats are hard to custom implement and costly and weavy does it pretty well at a decent cost

 ### 7. Super glad we've implemented Weavy

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jim B. | Founder & General Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

We were looking into adding community features such as chat and feeds to our portal to support our clients - and working with Weavy is just incredibly fast and takes almost no resources from our small team.

The components are well designed - from backend to frontend - so there were minimal customizations needed. Easy to implement and the Weavy team are always available to help with questions. Perfect fit for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Not much to dislike, to be honest - were some lacking pieces in the documentation regarding the authentication workflow, but their team was super responsive, and we got it sorted ASAP.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to create a community feel in our portal, with no barriers to communicating and sharing - and thanks to the Weavy components, we were able to add that in the fraction compared to building it ourselves. We have 18 global partners and 118 startups using our Portal; the integration of Weavy is making it so much easier for them, and us, to collaborate while in the Portal.

 ### 8. Well priced, good support , good product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Media Production | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Weavy is very start-up friendly. Enough good documentation and support team is responsive.
Pricing is also something we have consider while building our first MVP. Weaxy supports that.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

We would like to see some more capabilities/functionality in the future.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were in need of a chat API that is cost effective for early stage start-ups.

 ### 9. Amazing Development Partner

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David A. C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Weavy has truly simplified the process. Their turnkey solution provided my company with a comprehensive set of tools that seamlessly integrated into our application. The ease of implementation was surprising – within a fraction of the time it would have taken to develop these features in-house, we had robust instant messaging up and running. Our users were able to communicate effortlessly, enhancing the overall user experience.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Not much to dislike, to be honest - communication could be improved and their overall documentation accessibility , but their team has been and continues to be responsive when questions are posed.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provided our company with a turnkey solution to develop a swiss army knife of features and functionalities for the modern organization to connect, collaborate and communicate across desktop and mobile.

 ### 10. The best version of this kind of service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

My business runs on a tight budget and Weavy was a godsend for us. We’re spread out all over the United States, and in the past it was a huge challenge to make sure that we were organized as one unit. We needed something allowed file sharing across different cloud storage options, we wanted to be able to share updates, something that had the ability for fast deployment with customization, and most of all is easy to use (several of our team members are neurodivergent, and we rejected several other platforms because the UI was difficult to navigate. Weavy’s is great!).

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

The documentation is sometimes difficult to follow and it would be nice if we didn’t have to have a basis in CSS to do a lot of the customization, but those drawbacks pale in comparison to how much it has allowed us to shift our focus away from our own productivity, to actually serving customers.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Something that was very frustrating for us was trying to manage shared workspaces, especially with various cloud services that we all prefer to use. Being able to drag and drop links works far more seamlessly than on other similar services. Bad UI slows down businesses and we don't have the time to deal with it, but I find that it is a straightforward program that is surprisingly robust for how simple and clean it is. Sometimes we've felt that other products slow down our work versus accelerate it, but Weavy really does allow us to rocket forward and progress more quickly than we have before.

 ### 11. We needed to add chat to our app easily, and Weavy delivered.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Weavy is super easy to use from the get go. We needed the ability to add a chat function to our app, and were able to leverage Weavy to complete this quickly. This was a huge departure from the experience we had previously had with Sendbird, and because utilizing Weavy was so simple, the product team was able to focus on other core features that required attention. With only a bit of work, we were able to customize the chat the way we needed to, and when we needed assistance, we had a very responsive support team. The Zoom integration to send meeting links in the chat is especially great, and has simplified our process greatly.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Though easy to implement, the documentation is sometimes lacking and the customization we needed did require understanding of CSS. Having expanded documentation would be great.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our app was lacking a chat function for our customers, but we didn't have the time or resources to devote a huge chunk of time to be able to handle without another resource. Weavy helped us get the chat implemented quickly, and we've had many customers comment on their happiness not only that the chat funciton exists now, but that it is also seamlessly integrated into our site.

 ### 12. Perfect for our internal apps

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

We needed to add social features to our internal apps - some home built and some standard - and it was very easy to add the Weavy features across our apps, allowing us to have a unified way of sharing, etc.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

There are some missing pieces in the documentation to get it up and running on our own - we were using the JS Ui kit - but the team helped us out, so we still got it in place very fast.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We need to add a way to communicate across our internal apps without context switching, and thanks to Weavy, we could add chat and feeds to all the apps.

We're building a white-label platform for healthcare providers - in the era of telehealth - and the absolute best thing with Weavy is the fact that we can host the whole backend in our infrastructure for privacy and compliance - and on top of that, quickly add the features we want to our platform and monetize on them.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

It all works great, but we miss the React Native UI Kit - but we've heard it's coming out soon.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

The documentation is something that lacks in weavy, also it will be good if user can style the page from some attributes itself

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am developing a chatting website called chatverse, want that user's can do realtime chatting, so for that purpose i came to weavy, one feature i lacks that how i get all the user chatting in weavy, although it is not a big deal to get chat of all users, but it will be good if there will be a feature of that.

 ### 18. Really helpful for our projects with clients

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

It's swift and easy for us to add to our client projects whenever we need it - usually, we have several running parallel projects - and thanks to its ease, it doesn't require much work for each one.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Not much right now - it fits our need, but we would like more customization options in their JS UI kit - not really a way, right now at lease, to add or remove elements easily.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

From time to time, in our projects, we need to add social and community features - and instead of building them from scratch over and over again, we can just add the features from Weavy and save a lot of time.

 ### 19. Excellent integration into the product.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilya M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

When we got a request to add the chat functionality into our product we analyzed different solutions and found that the Weavy is the best to cover all our scenarios. From the box we got ability to install backend on IIS and used a chat Drop-in UI in mobile and desktop clients. It's really minimized our efforts to get the full-featured chat in the product.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

It would be good to have more detailed documentation about API endpoints. There is a Swagger documentation but in some cases the parameters format is not clear. Anyway when we had some questions the Weavy support provided quick and good response.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed to add a chat functionality into the product. It had to work as on mobile as on desktop clients. So the Weavy solution allowed us to get necessary functionality in a short period of time.

All good for now - but we would like to see localization so we can have several languages simultaneously.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking to add community features to our solution, afraid it would be a huge task - only to find out we could get it done in weeks with Weavy - so that's great.

Customizability was challenging at times, but Weavy's engineers were readily available within a few hours of us contacting them. They were always happy to hop on a call and help us tackle any technical challenges.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without Weavy, we would have been forced to develop our own custom chat feature, which would have significantly increased costs and delayed our timeline into production.

Weavy is fantastic! We were able to deploy the chat tool in our system extremely quickly and easily.
The API is very well designed and the people at Weavy are very approachable and very helpful.
We also like the methodology of separating users into "directories", so we are able to provide a single chat tool for all our customers.

At the moment there's nothing to 'dislike'. We do miss the ability to change the interface language, but the Weavy team is already working on it.
As I said, they're very approachable.

With Weavy we can provide a chat tool for our customers, so users inside they corporation can talk to each other.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

At the moment, there is nothing to dislike about Weavy. But, in the future, community support should be enhanced, and multi-language support in the API will be better.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Weavy, we can do live collaborations with the in-app chat solution. It is especially the best when it comes to providing live support and attending multiple customers at once.

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

We’re building the #1 engagement platform to incentivize people in every area – both personally and professionally – and needless to say collaboration and communication are a big part of that.
For us to be able to add key features, in no time, that just had to be there – specifically messaging and feeds – meant that we could put all our resources to build features in our platform that was crucial for our industry, and deliver a product for our users above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Some missing pieces in the API that we would like to see – but they’re extremely responsive and basically have new releases every week – so we’re not worried about that.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us it’s the fact that we can add these features that are essential for our users, without taking any resources away from our core product team – so we can deliver on our roadmap promises.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thanks for your feedback, we hope your issues have been addressed with our regular updates, if not don't hesitate to reach back out.

 ### 28. Very useful templates and services

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Weavy tools were easy to use and smoothly integrated into our existing solution. Weavy provides intuitive in-app chat APIs and SDKs are really simple to use and integrate into web and mobile applications.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

The documentation for the v2 we used for our solution was a bit lacking, but they have since updated it to a more user-friendly format.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weavy provides easy-to-use in-app chat solutions to enable live collaborations. We used it to add more functionality to our dashboard to enable collaboration and communication between teachers in remote settings.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thanks for your feedback! We're always updating our documentation and would love to hear more about where we can do better.

 ### 29. Very good products

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

The free chat sdk was very easy to integrate and to get up and running. It added instant chat between our users and our back office.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

For us a startup the only negative thing is the price level of a paid tier.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weavy chat sdk created, in our test environment so far, a direct channel of communication between or users and our back office staff. Which we think will improve our closing rate.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thank you so much for your feedback! We've taken it into account and have updated the cost of our paid version to be extremely competitive with the competition.

All paid versions are now priced at $0.09/monthly engaged user. That means that you only pay for the users who took actions (sent a message, uploaded a file, etc.) in the billing period.

 ### 30. Effective collaboration sdk

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niels J. | Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2023

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Simple integration into our developing environment and supported by solid onboarding service.
So far, a powerful collaboration tool that we are still exploring.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

We encountered problems with properly scaling within our UI, but this was solved by Weavy.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal communication and documentation of unstructured data

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad our team was able to assist you with your UI issues.

 ### 31. Adding great features in no time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander L. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

We’ve been using Weavy now for a couple of projects, and it helps us to focus on building what matters most for our clients while delivering on the features their users expect like chat, mentions, notifications, and more.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

We really like to go on the depth, so it would be nice to have access to the full backend for customizations, but on the other hand, we can do all the stuff on the front end and complement it with our APIs - so not a big issue at all.

**Recommendations to others considering Weavy:**

Use the resources provided on their Github. Really good examples, and it's easy to get started with.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves us a tremendous amount of time by not building the same thing over and over again that every client is asking for, we can just get it in and done, and focus on the important stuff.

 ### 32. Easy to use and adds lots of value in no time!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Prem S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

We build new apps and projects all the time – and what’s consistent throughout them all is the need for communication and real-time interaction – and Weavy does that for us super-fast and easy.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Nothing really, to be honest – eagerly awaiting the release of their UI kit for Android Studio – I’m a big Android user!

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us adding the table stakes features in everything we’re building, freeing up our resources to build the stuff that matters in the app.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thanks for your feedback! We're hard at work on our Android UI Kit.

 ### 33. Instrumental piece in building our global network of researchers and scientists.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Phil R. | H, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

The fact that we easily could add collaboration features to our platform without building it from scratch, with no prior experience at all building chats, etc. Further the level of support from the technical team is outstanding.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Hard to point anything out, because it was all a fit from technology stack and need – in the beginning there was a limited way of doing customizations, but with the latest releases that’s fixed.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weavy keeps our users engaged and without Weavy we would have to spend month, maybe years to reach the level we have now in our platform – it’s truly amazing how much time AND money we saved using Weavy.

 ### 34. Great starting point for any start-up that needs user communication!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dave A. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

What I like best is that I got a fully working user chat experience right out of the box with typing indicators, emojis, and read/sent receipts. I personally find dealing with WebSockets to be a headache, so just having that ready to go saved me a lot of time and pain.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

That the solution is written in C#. Since I don't have much experience with it, it was a little intimidating. With that being said, it really wasn't that hard to get more familiar with it, and there are a lot of functions they have backed in so the little code I had to write to customize was pretty straightforward. I created some of the API endpoints we had to use for data collection, and their team helped me out a lot. Thanks Mai!

**Recommendations to others considering Weavy:**

Ask their dev team for help if you're struggling! They were able to spot the error I made in a few minutes and I wasted too much time on my own trying to figure out what I did wrong.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was taking a long time for our team to build messaging into our app... It seemed like it would be pretty quick, but to get all of the functionality we wanted, it was taking months. Then we found weavy, and it cut that time down to weeks... with some features that we weren't planning on adding to the chats, like group conversations!

 ### 35. Amazing Community Tools Right Out of the Box!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug S. | Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 23, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Weavy provides a great set of community tools right out of the box. Their Feed system allows your network to share posts like Facebook and LinkedIn. It's what users and community members typically expect to see, and Weavy does a great job at making this system easily embeddable into your application. Their Messages system also provides a modern and straightforward interface for creating and exchanging chat or instant messages with other members of your community or application. Again, dropping this into an existing app is what makes Weavy shine.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

There are so many options available to configure within the Weavy tools, and these options sometimes could use a little more explanation from the configuration and the user experience.

**Recommendations to others considering Weavy:**

Consider the ROI for building your own tools, and determine if Weavy's price point is worth it to you. Also, consider time to design, build, host, test, deploy, and maintain. Then lastly, think about the quality of the user experience and how that will meet the demand of your Users.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weavy solves the problem of keeping our community engaged with each other through feed posts and instant messages. Without Weavy we would have to spend many hours, weeks, and months building our own system. Buildng our own platform for this purpose was not be cost-effective for us, and since Weavy's tools are ready to use right out of the box we were able to focus on building our and engaging our community.

**Official Response from Rickard Hansson:**

> We love your use case, and the design and experience you've created is very nice!!! Well done! Really appreciate you pointing out the Buy vs Build - for us, it's a no-brainer - but hey, we're biased! Feedback received in terms of more documentation and explanation of the configuration part, it's in the backlog as we speak.

 ### 36. Highly recommended!

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

With Weavy we have found solutions of multiple multiple problems in one case. Especially their chat awesome is very fast and reliable. In our case, we had a multitenant app and we used different tenants of weavy as well, we can create tenants with just a few clicks from their portal. It is highly customizable and we were able to customize a lot of things, their technical support is really amazing and helped in everything.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Most of their documentation is for javascript, We used it with Blazor but again their technical support is amazing they helped us to set it up.

**Recommendations to others considering Weavy:**

Highly Reccomended!

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solved our problem of:
- Messenger
- Group Chat
- Files
- Comments
- Social posts
Weavy was plug and play solution for all of these problems and saved us from reinventing the wheel and years of coding.

**Official Response from Rickard Hansson:**

> Thank you for the feedback, very appreciated! When it comes to Blazor, we actually do have onboarding docs for that (https://www.weavy.com/docs/chat/blazor/introduction) - sorry you missed that, let us know if you need anything. ### 37. A good experience

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Davide T. | Software Developer , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

The simple integration with the most useful cloud drive ever. it is really intuitive, a really positive experience, it was a great experience both of use and training in the implementation of weavy in our web application. In our integration experience we have integrated it with rest api and even api soap both on the frontend and backend side, the use experience was excellent, it was easier and more intuitive to integrate it on the frontend side, and in some points having needs a lot customization we had to consult with the developers who promptly replied within a few hours, truly a great

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

it is not possible to customize the functionality, remove a button rather than add or modify its functionality. During the rollout we noticed these shortcomings, so make all features even more customizable if possible. In addition, the documentation for the back end integration was a bit more lacking than the front end integration, but we quietly solved it by asking a few questions directly to the developers who promptly replied to the emails

**Recommendations to others considering Weavy:**

I would recommend it to other weavy, it's really well integrated and easy to use, by the time smaller clouds like Mega are added it will be really great, fantastic, amazing

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Now the app communicates with the most useful cloud drive in a short time! a great feature to be able to communicate with clouds so easily. it was a wonderful experience of use and functionality, it would be great to integrate minor clouds as well

**Official Response from Rickard Hansson:**

> Great to hear, we aim to please! ;) The customization part we've heard before, and we're addressing it in our upcoming version where every detail can be customized - from super easy CSS changes to removing and adding elements - keep your eyes on our website for announcements.

 ### 38. a stimulating experience to learn from

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valentina S. | Software Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 25, 2021

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

* easy to integrate: integrating weavy into your application is very simple. It only takes a few steps and a few requests to start testing all the features
* versatile: it applies to different fields and uses
* support always available and prepared: in case of need, the support provides clear and exhaustive answers, often correlated by examples
* customizable: it is easy to customize weavy to adapt it as much as possible to the product on which it is integrated

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

* sdk client documentation lacking: the documentation relating to the sdk client is very scarce, often I didn't know where to look for the information I needed. Code comments certainly help, but they aren't enough. For example, promise management is very interesting, but it should be better documented
* UI cannot be customized

**Recommendations to others considering Weavy:**

* try all the various features from the demo (it's very complete)
* try to integrate one feature at a time
* customize the features according to your needs
* write to assistance in case of problems: they are very kind and helpful!

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used weavy in particular for the file-sharing part, so I was able to learn both to communicate with various cloud providers, and to enrich my solution with integrations towards these clouds. It was also very instructive to study the weavy file browser, the solutions adopted are certainly very interesting; useful for those wishing to customize the existing file providers with new features or add new ones

**Official Response from Rickard Hansson:**

> Wow, what an awesome review - thank you so much - everyone at the office was very happy hearing all this! Fairly recently we updated the docs site, so it should be better - if not, let us know (https://www.weavy.com/docs) - and when it comes to UI customizations - we hear ya', and it's coming - keep your eyes on our website for announcement of our new version coming out.

 ### 39. Saved us so much time and effort!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catalin B. | Senior Manager Business Development & Partnering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

The fact it’s made to work with everything built-in: presence and typing indicators, previews of
attached files in all major formats, integrations with Dropbox, Google Drive, etc, and now also Zoom
and Teams - we saved an insane amount of time, instead of building it inhouse.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

We’re not super familiar with .NET and C#, but thankfully we could do all of our customizations in
the frontend.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Users were asking for the chat feature, in particular, so we got it in there way faster than we planned
to so now we’re delivering a way better user experience.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thanks for your feedback, we're glad to hear the front end customizations have met your team's needs.

 ### 40. Just what we needed, when we needed it.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mammad Y. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

We bridge the gap between physical and digital workspace in the wake of everyone working from
home, and increasingly our users were asking for productivity features in our app - and thankfully we
found Weavy that helped us to add chat, feeds, file sharing, notifications, and more - and we can get it
done in no time with few resources.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

We need native components for our mobile experience in React Native, but we know it’s in the
works and released soon.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our users want to get everything done within the app, and thanks to the features Weavy is adding
on top of our own we’re truly delivering on that. It also makes us independent from integrations with Microsoft or other big players.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thanks for your feedback, we have a React UI kit at the ready!

 ### 41. Very easy to integrate, adds great value instantly to almost any app.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bernardo C. | CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

The collaboration features work out of the box. There's no need to waste time configuring details. It all just works (and looks very nice).
The server-side APIs add even more power if you need it.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

I wish I could do more from the client-site. Although it works great as-is, in some cases I might want to do some styling or customization.
For example, I might want to have a "dark" theme, or sanitize comment threads without changing the server part of my app.

**Recommendations to others considering Weavy:**

Give it a try, I think you'll like it.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weavy allows users to contribute and collaborate efficiently. Users may easily add comments or questions from within the app itself without having to switch and manage multiple apps. It makes effective collaboration easy and even fun.

**Official Response from Rickard Hansson:**

> Klas, our UX/UI guy appreciates that the work that he puts in pays off - thanks! When it comes to styling and customizations, in the works - new release coming where you can do both quick styling, and deep UI changes.

 ### 42. Instantly great high value features added

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

What can I say? It just works! The UI is super sleek and modern and has all the things you expect. It’s super stable - not a hiccup for as long as we used it. And saved us tons of development time, so our developers can get more done.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Our developers were not super keen on C#, but it works and gets the job done.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, it’s always to deliver above and beyond for our users, and with Weavy’s help, we added more high-value features in a shorter time than we expected - and as an outcome, we sell more and do better.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry you're not wild about C# but glad to hear you've been able to find success regardless.

 ### 43. Added so much value for our users

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Maritime | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Our app is all about teams - skippers staying safe and charter employees being more efficient. Our tech team is really small, so the fact it was easy and fast was important for us.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

First, we had to host it ourselves, but thankfully they just released their hosted alternative, so we just moved there and it made it so much easier for us.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our apps are all about communication and productivity, but more so on the data side, and now we can have the people communicate as well which means we can deliver a complete solution end-to-end for our customers.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thanks for your feedback, we're glad you're enjoying our new weavy.io hosting environment.

 ### 44. Easy to Integrate, and simplified UI- one of the best in the market

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arjun R. | Associate Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

-> Weavy contains one of the well-written documentation.
->Embedding features into the web app is super easy, one or two lines of code will do the trick.
->The entire data is on the server-side itself, so it is safe.
-> Weavy chat is free to use.
-> Simplified and easy to use UI

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

-> the integration is not supported on android SDK.
-> Server-side modification can be made simpler.
-> Weavy UI is great, but more customization options to the UI will enhance the experience.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weavy chat has been an essential feature in providing an end-to-end chat application in my project.I have used Weavy for building two web apps during the last 2 years, and I find integrating Weavy into your app is the easiest part. The services provided are simpler and much safer as the data belongs to the user and are on the client-side itself. That being said, they offer integration only to selected technologies (at the time of this writing). The UI is the fundamental part of the Weavy experience, as it provides a fresh and simpler look to your web app.

**Official Response from Rickard Hansson:**

> Great feedback, thanks!! Andriod and more customizations possibilities are coming in our new release, stay tuned. Server-side modifications made simpler are tricky, that's just the nature of it - but we're always striving to do better.

 ### 45. The All New Updated Weavy Docs Website Really Helped Out

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Akshay V. | Developer I - Software Engineering, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

The best thing about this is that the whole process is documented on the Weavy Docs Website. Also, the in-app chat was made available for free. I think that was the icing on the cake.
We was able to complete our prototype in record time. All thanks to the new and updated resourses and helpfull team from weavy.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

I had a very tough time navigating and finding the resources we needed to integrate Weavy into our app and a little bit of trouble setting up the JWT authentication. Otherwise, it was all smooth

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Last year during the first Weavy collaboration hack, our team had a very tough time navigating and finding the resources we needed to integrate weavy into our app. As Weavy was relatively new back then, there were no sufficient resources online . Now, after a year, the whole story has changed about weavy.

" Your Project Horizon: A Virtual Classroom truly resembles the best of collaboration. From personal ToDo’s, calendar embedded to classroom integration using weavy spaces, your solution has everything one needs to be a part of the classroom. The 3D Models of Biology provides us the possibility to go beyond conventional online classes and learn with more realistic tools leveraging AR and VR to its best."

These were the jury words about the project we presented on the Weavy build tomorrow hackathon. We were so pleased by the jury's comment.

**Official Response from Rickard Hansson:**

> Thank you, we put a lot of effort into our new docs site, so glad it paid off. And yeah, authentication is always tricky - user-friendliness and security will never go hand in hand - but we're trying to do our best in guiding you guys. Congrats on the hackathon results!!

 ### 46. Simple collaboration features as a plug and play service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jonas A. | Interim CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 22, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

It's simply a toolbox of collaboration features you want but don't want to spend your time on building. Easily integrated, adaptable to your app own and needs and constantly updated with great new features. It's like having a separate product team for free.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Using the API you can do mostly anything with your own front so there's not much to dislike. However, if there were ready packages and plugins for Flutter that would take away the need for us to build our own front and speed up the process.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our users need to talk across our apps and have collaboration built into or product to stay longer. Shure, they use other collaboration apps as well but the ability to start a conversation and keeping it in context makes our users stay longer in our service.

**Official Response from Rickard Hansson:**

> Appreciate the feedback, Jonas - always a pleasure working with you. React, React Native, Flutter, Angular - you name it - UI-kits is coming soon, a lot of work happening behind the scenes right now.

 ### 47. Weavy is the secure chat company we chose to partner with us.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 30, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Their upfront integration development work at a low, fixed cost.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

Nothing that I dislike at this time. We have not completed the rollout, but everything is running smoothly so far.

**Recommendations to others considering Weavy:**

Excellent choice for us for the level of integration, secure chat features, and many more features that we hadn't even thought of yet!

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a secure chat platform that we could integrate into our existing Azure environment. It was a perfect match for us.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thank you for your feedback. We're sure by now you've deployed and would love any additional feedback.

 ### 48. In-app collaboration at its best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samir S. | CEO & Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Very easy to add to our apps, took only days to get chat, feeds, and document collaboration in front of the users. Also easy to customize to our needs, like adding integrations, etc.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

I would like to see more native stuff built on, for example, Swift, and other libraries like React, Angular, etc. - that would speed up development even more. Also, I miss reactions on messages and posts - but I know that it's in the works.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, it's all about delivering more value to the user, and in this case, it's about saving them time - no wasted time losing context when collaborating and chatting.

**Official Response from Andy Heriaud:**

> Thanks for your feedback, we're always working on new UI kits for other libraries. Not long after you wrote this review we implemented reactions.

 ### 49. The fastest way to create your community platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 01, 2021

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

Weavy comes right out of the box containing all the critical components you need to build a community platform. This means that time to value is incredibly fast for us. Simply insert the Weavy components into your platform and you're ready to go! Without Weavy, we would have spent a year to build this functionality and longer to maintain it.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

There are two items that we struggled with. First is Weavy's customization capability. We learned that we needed to update the C# code directly to create a new build with most of the customizations we wanted to perform. Second, we would have preferred to install instantly on AWS, but there were not a lot of instructions for us on how to do this. So instead, we went with a different environment on Azure.

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Weavy has enabled us to offer Feed and Instant Messaging capabilities for our large communities at scale with minimal development overhead. The performance of our platform experience has increased, and more importantly, the engagement on our platform has grown.

**Official Response from Rickard Hansson:**

> I'm happy that we saved you a whole year (!!), and instead focusing on your core business - just what we want. And yes, customizations in the current version is C#, you can do a lot - but you need to master it - but we're working on a new release that's addressing that too. When it comes to Azure, yeah - guilty as charged - we do love Azure, even if it works with AWS - and we should have some proper docs up for that. We'll get back to you on that.

 ### 50. Awesome Product, Awesome team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** June 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Weavy?**

The support is fantastic, it is an amazing product that has cut down development time for me and my team.

**What do you dislike about Weavy?**

It's amazing but I do not like the fact that you are forced to use MSSQL

**What problems is Weavy solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Chat and real-time messaging communication which is a core of the product I am currently building
