The electronic enrollment of payors is a lifesaver! Claims editor and tips are very helpful!

There isn't much I dislike about Waystar it serves its purpose and definitely meets our billing needs.

Electronic enrollment of payors has helped get ERAs quickly and the denial/rejection editor has helped us correct claims easier and get paid quicker.

Sometimes the systems take a minute to load, but I suspect that this is because of the routine Maintenance.

**What do you like best about Waystar?**

Sometimes a claim will be rejected by insurance/payer for no good reason.  Easiest solution is to click on the "Claims" in Waystar, search "All" & "Clients Name," and then locate the DOS.  Click on the History tab, click on POTF button, and print the Proof of Claim & Filing Status.  Then, click on View tab to print the rejected claim and snail mail both.  Saves so much time and is headache free.  Bada bing bada boom.

**What do you dislike about Waystar?**

There is nothing I dislike about Waystar.  I've worked very late and been able to connect with help from their representatives, after hours, to answer any of my questions and concerns.

**What problems is Waystar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spending less time on hold with payers and filing claims more efficiently than we had achieved prior to using Waystar.

I like the ease of uploading my batches into Waystar. It is a quick process and quickly shows me what still might need my attention.

I would like to see a more concise list of the payer EDI numbers. It does not seem to always give me the information I need.

Very effective platform for electronic claims submission. I would recommend Waystar to any medical office practice.

It has been easier cleaning up my claims involving our Immunization clinic NDC numbers.

Ease of use to resubmit claims, ease of processing credit cards and reviewing payments on a remit and claim level.

Support used to be wonderful, now it seems they have added levels and often times the first level doesn't do their due diligence in researching the issue.

Claims Management feature allows us to locate denials/rejections from payor portals, which saves us time in tracking down these denials we don't receive.

Consistent and accurate.  It is immediate and I do not have to keep sensitive information in the office since the information is stored and I also do not  have access to this information

**What do you dislike about Waystar?**

The many notices that are not applicable to what I do.  It is for other companies / agencies and you have to click through them before you get to your desired page.

**What problems is Waystar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Waystar is the tool that my agency uses for credit card payments from clients and to then issue them a receipt.  It is easy to use and immediate so  clients do not have to wait to be billed.

i dislike that you cant modify the language on the payment plan print out receipts to differentiate from the regular receipts and payment plan receipts

I have mainly dealt with their technical support and they have always been efficient & timely in assisting me with my issues. They respond in a timely manner and provide constant updates.

As of now, I do not have a dislike or downside to Waystar.

I am having issues running eligibility through my EHR.  I have been working with Brandi Hart, she has been amazing, explaining everything, researching the issue, providing me updates. She even did a conference call with myself & my IT person to try to resolve the issue.

I love the ease of integration with my EHR.

Doesn't have unlimited training without a price tag.

**What problems is Waystar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Had lots of claims denials from insurance.  Waystar would catch those denials before going to the actual insurance.  Ex:  Patient's insurance had expired, but Waystar caught it.  Another example is a claim contained an obsolete code, and Waystar caught it. The benefits beyond those mentioned is that I'm able to see the trends in potential denials and adjust the workflow and properly train staff to significantly reduce them before they start.

Waystar has one of the easiest platforms to learn.  A 30 minute webinar and we were up and running!

There is nothing to dislike about this program.

We have no problems other than their outages that are sometimes bothersome...but who doesn't have outages.
Benefits: Quick acceptance of the claims.  If there is a problem with the claim it is easily fixable through their program.  Waystar also has easy access reports.

Using the claim status application helps free up time for follow-up associates to be able to focus on claims that need more attention.  The excellent support team that we work with.

**What do you dislike about Waystar?**

Since we have some facilities in 2 different systems, not all the same rules apply and can't control more of what we need in the one system.

**What problems is Waystar solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to solve the problems of the claims that are not found and payers that have more errors than others.  When reviewing claims that are not found, it shows us the issues we have on our end and being able to provide education on choosing the correct payer plans and other information.

EOBs layout is excellent. Its also easy to edit and resubmit claims in Waystar.

It doesn't give further claim status. The furthest Waystar can tell is that claim has been accepted for processing. After that the next thing is an EOB from payer.

It sometimes locks up and will not let me archive and download payments but this is not a consistent issue.

It is a little slower than I would like when switching between facilities.

I have used other clearinghouse programs before.  This one far surpasses the previous software in every way I have needed.

Tracking timely filing has been a big problem solved by Waystar.  Just recently, I discovered the ability to print primary EOBs that contain only a single pt.
