What do you like best about Waydev?

- Easy to integrate Bitbucket repositories and Jira projects together.

- Full visibility across all the development workflow.

- Metrics breakdown across different teams.

What do you dislike about Waydev?

- A bit expensive for mid-size companies

- Billing should be done on a monthly basis too, instead of on a yearly basis only. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Waydev solving and how is that benefiting you?

- The automated weekly reports are useful to share with each engineering team to discuss and improve the team's performance and collaboration as much as possible — also really useful for sprint retrospectives.

- The same reports and insights can also be used as baselines for engineering performance reviews and 1:1s.

"A very complete platform"

What do you like best about Waydev?

The way that we can use the platform to evaluate our engineers team. The insights provided make me take my teams to the next level. I've tried others tools, but waydev is the most complete and stable Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Review Waydev"

What do you like best about Waydev?

The advantage of using waydev is to be able to have complete control of the actions generated by the developers once the work is started in azure/gitlab or even Jira.

The greatest advantage that waydev allows is to be able to have a large number of reports according to the search criteria of each user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Waydev?

One of the things where the platform fails is having constant or repetitive problems in some of its functions.

We can analyze the individual and collective impact in different projects

We also use it to analyze recommendations, churn code, best team players, productivity, etc

It's very useful as well to evaluate if the teams are evolving and getting better velocity and impact

"Great tool for engineering managers. Very comprehensive analytics!"

What do you like best about Waydev?

One thing is that the platform is constantly improved and updated with new features. Also, we can really zoom into what the teams are doing, and that helps us spot any blockers or potential risks.

The flexibility of reporting is great, we can create custom reports and slice and dice metrics as we like. We also plugged in JIRA to help us understand how much we spend on unplanned work, bugs, and track the progress of our features.

The platform also plugs into Jenkins, which allows us to measure our teams’ DORA metrics automatically.

Another fantastic thing about the platform is that we can actually visualize the performance of our teams and set targets for them, so whenever they hit a certain point, the managers are notified.

It is a really great investment for us because we can see everything that went wrong in our processes, but also everything that was going well, so we could do the right moves, and take action in the right way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
