The only frustration I have with WAVE is when it comes to uploading and tracking receipts. Each receipt has to be uploaded manually, which can be monotonizing. It would also be nice if WAVE automatically applied any late fees we have once an invoice becomes overdue. I love that Wave is free to use & easy to use. The fact that I can set up recurring invoices for my customers and manually send them is a major plus! I also really appreciate that Wave has an app that I can use so that I don't have to be connected to my computer constantly. The downside to Wave might be that I cannot set custom reminders. I have to use the pre-set times they have programmed into the system. Payments at our company are not late until the 10th of the month & I would like the option to set up reminders just then. At one point, our debits were showing up as credits, and our credits were showing up as debits. This was solved later and might have been an issue with our bank. Wave is a great low-cost alternative to more expensive software packages like Quickbooks, with the same functionality. Add ons make it a robust package without breaking the bank. It allows me to do most of the things I need without needing to be in front of a computer (it is mobile-friendly) and pass off the quarterly and payroll items to my accountant without losing control. The customer support experience is really poor. They don't always respond to your emails even though they promise a 2-business day response time. Customer support chat is the only other option, but it can be a long wait and the agents like to disconnect you if you don't respond or they have a whiff of you being away from the keyboard for a minute. There is no call support option.
