We've seen increased use across campus, and once faculty and advisors have access to student data, they fall in love with it. **What do you dislike about Watermark Student Success & Engagement?** The support documents can be confusing because they use different terms to explain the same concept. It would be helpful to have support documents updated and reflect both two-year and four-year schools. **What problems is Watermark Student Success & Engagement solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's helping us solve the student insight problem. We have visibility of potential issues and current grades through reports, auto-alerts, achievements, and staff alerts. This allows us to repond in a timely manner with the appropriate support. ### 2. All of the information that you need is on one screen. It is only a click away if you want to get deeper into something else regarding a student, like the courses they are taking or other notes associated with that person. **What do you dislike about Watermark Student Success & Engagement?** This is not necessarily something I dislike, but I think it could be a welcomed addition to make it easier. All people associated with a student are listed on the right side of the main profile screen. I want to be able to hover over any of those people and have the option to send them a text message or a note. This would save just one more step. The only other way that I see that I can reach out to somebody associated with the student is to click on the 'message' button above the student's name, and then there is a drop-down menu. This is too many steps. **What problems is Watermark Student Success & Engagement solving and how is that benefiting you?** Watermark keeps all of my students right in front of me and allows me to look at them from a bird's eye view. I can delve deeper into any one student if I would like. It also gives me green, amber, and red alerts to take a snapshot when I get online as to who I need to focus on. ### 3. We have expanded the use to key stakeholders across campus for their specific needs, all centered on student support. We are seeing increased collaboration from various departments, allowing us to support students in ways we never have before. Through the SS&E features, we can help students proactively rather than reactively. **What do you dislike about Watermark Student Success & Engagement?** Old support docs, seeing data, reporting **What problems is Watermark Student Success & Engagement solving and how is that benefiting you?** Watermark SS&E allows us to see detailed student information, collaborate across departments, communicate more easily with target groups, narrow our student subsets, and work more efficiently to solve student academic issues. This has benefitted us greatly in knowing which students are struggling academically and providing support more quickly. This is positioning us to reach our persistence and retention goals. ### 4. The ease of use which allows faculty and staff to engage with students by email, text message, or push notification in the app. The fact that you can set permissions/access at a granular level depending on staff role. The response of the staff at Watermark when you have a request or an issue. **What do you dislike about Watermark Student Success & Engagement?** The only downside is the fact that some changes are made to the product without advance notice. However, this is not a large issue due to the overall usability of the application. **What problems is Watermark Student Success & Engagement solving and how is that benefiting you?** Watermark Student Success and Engagement allows us to have an "all in one" place for faculty and staff (including but not limited to Academic Advisors, Success Coaches, and Counselors) to monitor and react to the success of our students. This has allowed us to assist students when they need it, and allows for proactive action, rather than just reactive action. This has contributed to increased student retention semester to semester, and year to year, every term since implementation in January 2020. ### 5. One thing that would be helpful would be the ability to pull more data and reports from both your caseload and an overall student population or major group. **What problems is Watermark Student Success & Engagement solving and how is that benefiting you?** For me, the biggest challenge was knowing how my students were doing in classes outside of the program. Being able to see their progress in general education classes helps me to better advise students. ### 6.
