What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

Our organizaiton had 8 terabytes of critical storage on a NAS that was not backed up. It was risky and vulnerable. For some time we sought solutions. Ultimately, we chose Wasabi because it integrated with the device seamlessly and offered a reasonably prices solution. Soon afterward, we added a remote worker that required the constant exchange of large files that a local team shared with the remote worker. Wasabi easily allowed us to create an additional storage bucket, limite the remote worker's access to only the shared team storage. It worked perfectly with several different file access clients. Our Wasabi system wasn't petabytes of info, just a few terabytes. We accessed the files often while using the remote worker. We've also found the backup very helpful when files accidentally get deleted or misplaced. Wasabi has been a great technology partner for our office. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

We are not mass storage experts. They system to limit access for particular users to particular storage buckets was cryptic. That area was definitely written by software and networking engineers. It could be more user friendly. But, the features are there and useful. We made it work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

It is a very inexpensive and reliable cloud storage solution. I like the ease of setup with nothing to maintain on my end. I have a ton of videos from court proceedings that we upload and basically can forget about. When the time comes that we may need the recording, simply grab it and bring it back with no add-on charges. Simple!! We use it weekly to upload videos off the live storage system, more than enough storage and can always add more if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

For our use here, I have not found anything that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

Wasabi is by far the least expensive cloud storage / object storage solution out there - they know this, they have comparison tools all over their website showing how much you'll save versus AWS, Azure, or Google. Allowed us to do even more off-site/cloud backup than we anticipated when switching our overall backup solution. Support is great, and their uptime is about what you'd expect and hope for. What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

Almost nothing. The tool you used (text editor really) to set permissions on buckets is very technical and obscure, definitely have to copy and paste another example and edit it. Some of the configuration options are also a little hard to figure out without reading documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

Wasabi by far has been the better solution for a small business that needs hot cloud storage and wont break the bank. Being able to have a reliable company that treats its customers and thier data with care, is a refreshing breath of air. The ability to have instant access to your data is also a huge plus by not having to wait to restore a file. It also ties in very nicely with Veeam Tools. After the account was set up, it has been easy to use with our tools. We do have scheduled backups every night, and even then we dont have a huge bill. The few times I have had to reach out for support, they are very quick and assistive with my requests. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

Im not sure if I have found a negative yet or anything that would be a detriment to having the service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

I like that it's easy to estimate and predict my billing since there are no ingress/egress charges. I was able to sub in my Wasabi endpoint for my S3 endpoint in my Python functions and it worked exactly the same way with boto3 - no additional coding needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

The price just went up slightly, but it's still comparable enough to S3 with regards to price per terabyte that the benefit of no ingress/egress charges is well worth it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

Wasabi makes it super easy to go from only on-prem storage, to Immutable Cloud Storage. I just had to build a Scale Out Backup Repository with my existing on-prem storage, and my newly created Immutable Bucket in Wasabi, and within a day we had backups offloading to Wasabi. Fanstastic! Easy to configure, and very affordable. Nothing else competes in my mind... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

I have experienced zero downsides to using Wasabi. Nothing at all. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

I started using Wasabi personally for offsite storage, and then was fortunate enough to be able to use them professionally too. I'm certain the business has saved a considerable amount of money vs other S3 object storage providers. Excellent service and easy to integrate into a workflow. I'm happy that my backups are safely stored each day, and that I can get them back quickly if necessary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

The management portal can be a little daunting initially, but everything is fairly obvious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

We have successfully transition over two dozen customers from a previous cloud provider to Wasabi. Each of the migrations were smooth and efficient plus they put our customers onto a more performant and secure platform. The value returned to our customers comes back as significantly greater than the investment they are making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

As a provider servicing multiple customers I think we need better/more robust reporting on actual customer usage to help justify overages and billing variances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

We've been using Wasabi for our backup and archive storage for the past 10 months. It is easy to manage. Adding additional buckets and setting up security is straightforward. Customer Support was very helpful with the setup and deciding whether to use pay-as-you-go or reserve capacity storage. Integration with our backup solution was seamless. Multiple computers access it daily, with no outages to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

I can honestly say that we have not had a downside with Wasabi so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wasabi Object Storage?

Wasabai's focus on storage along with their affordable cost models allow us to use what we need, when we need it, without the fear of surpise charges or complicated pricing calucations. We have predictable costs, with plenty of reserve on demand. Their immutable options and other featurs integrate nicely with our on-premise storage software as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wasabi Object Storage?

In the past their console has been rather clunky and required some patience to navigate. This has improved lately and is no longer as much of an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
