One of the best things about the Vicarius solution is its focus on proactive vulnerability management through its Topia platform. The ability to prioritize vulnerabilities based on real-time risk assessments and asset criticality is incredibly valuable. It provides actionable insights that allow teams to efficiently address the most critical threats, optimizing both time and resources. The integration options with existing security tools and the intuitive dashboard also make it a standout feature for enhancing visibility and decision-making. While Vicarius excels in vulnerability management, one area for improvement would be the automatic generation of detailed reports immediately after executing an automation, particularly when custom scripts are used. This feature would provide immediate insights into the outcomes of the automation process, saving time and enhancing clarity for security teams. Additionally, expanding the functionality and options available for automation via the endpoint API would significantly enhance its flexibility and adaptability to various environments. These enhancements would make an already strong platform even more powerful for security operations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
vRx can discover, prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities, all within the same platform. This breadth of capability far exceeds competitors that I've come across.
Vuln Discovery: vRx supports 3500+ third party apps, plus all the major operating systems. This is far in excess of other products.
Vuln Prioritisation: vRx uses the context of each business' unique environment to determine which vulnerabilities are truly the most important, and doesn't just rely on the CVSS score.
Vuln Remediation: vRx can automatically patch the vulns it discovers. Admins can create their own rules to automate the process (e.g.: automatically remediate 'critical' and 'high' vulns for the Microsoft Office suite). This same feature can be used to deploy scripts on endpoints (e.g.: take a backup before patching). Lastly, vRx has the ability to patch vulnerabilities before the software vendor has released an official patch.
The user experience is fantastic. It's easy to understand, quick to get started, and the interface is rapid.
vRx is very easy to deploy across the environment with wide support across Windows, MacOS and Linux.
For Australian clients, vRx is a fantastic tool for reaching into Essential 8 ML3 for Patch Applications and Patch Operating Systems.
Pricing is very competitive, especially given the power of the platform - it can often replace two or more tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reporting could be stronger, particularly when 'selling' the on-going benefits of the product into senior leadership teams. vRx will do a heap of work, but at the same time lots of vulns are released every day, so it's important to showcase that vulns are actually being addressed in large numbers, despite the overal total only reducing slowly over time. If your organization requires vulnerability management in IT environments, Vicarius is the ideal choice. Its effectiveness impressed us from the initial setup to daily operations, standing out with its intuitive interface that accelerates and simplifies the process of identifying, prioritizing, and mitigating risks.
The most significant benefit I observed is its ability to centralize all critical information, streamlining analysis and decision-making. This translates into the ability to proactively address and remediate vulnerabilities.
I highly recommend Vicarius to any company aiming to manage vulnerabilities effectively and enhance its cyber resilience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In our experience helping organizations enhance cyber resilience, if the focus is solely on identifying vulnerabilities without acting on remediations, there are other solutions in the market that offer better cost-effectiveness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Vicarius vRx is one of the few tools I have used that truly delivers on its promises. In addition to offering just one type of license that covers all its features, its implementation is incredibly fast, regardless of the company's scope. Scheduled patching and vulnerability management are handled in a very intuitive and straightforward way, helping to resolve vulnerabilities much faster than with a traditional approach. The only thing I could say I dislike about Vicarius is that sometimes they don’t have Spanish-speaking support engineers, so I have to wait a few extra minutes to be assisted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use vRx by Vicarius daily, and I am constantly impressed by its proactive vulnerability management capabilities.
The automation in identifying and patching vulnerabilities, combined with real-time protection, saves me a significant amount of time.
I appreciate especially the depth of insight and control that vRx offers, allowing for efficient management across multiple systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While vRx is incredibly powerful, I feel that some of the more advanced analytics could be simplified for users who may not have deep technical knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Best in vRx is that you may have all your risks in security in one console regarding the OS versions and third-party apps. With that, vRx will offer you the highest risk helping you prioritize what you should update first. Also the automation of tasks helps reducing the time of the security team members into those tasks. Customer Support helps you anytime, and the implementation is so easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The integration with AD is difficult to cover by vRx, because an endpoint or server may be included in several groups, and that means that you can find that machine in a subgroup that you are not interested for this matter, for example, you can have two groups, Windows and Linux, but also you can have groups for geographical location, Office, DataCenter, Administration... with that picture, it is tricky to setup automation that covers every machine Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user-friendly interface and automated patch deployment are standout features, making vulnerability management less cumbersome for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside is that the initial setup can be time-consuming, especially for organizations with complex environments. Also the application management can also be added as a addon feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A very decent priced product for what's offered. You get a lot more than just patch management, it has a lot of different tools that can be utilized to assist with the management of endpoints. The security and permissions within VrX are very granular, allowing you to cherry-pick permissions between different teams. Installation of the product was easy, we just deployed through Intune. We have set up patching schedules throught the app, that we can adjust the frequency of.
The Vicarius team is also a very nice community, the forums have many post and the support team is very helpful. They actually know the product, unlike a lot of other support teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing that I actively dislike, having to approve a sign in is tedious, but I'd rather be safe than lazy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

vRx truly simplifies detecting and remediating vulnerabilities with continuous assessment and its features for patch management and remediation — all within a single platform with a unique license. The automation feature is the icing on the cake, it provides great help far beyond vulnerality management, it's like having and assistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
