"Voxy is next generation language development app"

What do you like best about Voxy?

I like the proficiency graphics that Voxy provides to students. Students can visually see how much progress they've made, how many hours they've dedicated towards their efforts, and how many activities they've completed. This information lets us individualize our student experience, helping us to encourage continued growth. It also helps us communicate this growth to other stakeholders. On another note, regarding the inner workings of Voxy, this AI based testing approach that reacts to student performance within the app is superior to standardized testing, which requires continuous improving of tests and diligence with test security. What do you dislike about Voxy?

Voxy does not work well as an app on the iPad. One must use Safari. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Voxy:

This is a great tool to be used to learn English, whether a business person who needs to improve spoken communication or an international student studying at the high school level, needing language support alongside English language arts or social sciences. What problems is Voxy solving and how is that benefiting you?

Voxy has two-fold purposes for us. As a high school boarding organization, we both house students and provide English language acquisition support. With Voxy, we can give our student/clients a reliable language learning experience, whether in the US or outside the US. The Voxy Proficiency Assessment yields a score that we can correlate with the Common European Frameworks of Reference (CEFR). With this information, we can verify an admission test score or get current proficiency information that can help us place the student into an appropriate English support course at our partner high schools, and finally to measure the ongoing growth twice during each semester. Finally, the regular Voxy platform doubles our efforts in helping students prepare for other proficiency tests, like TOEFL iBT, as well as work towards general proficiency improvement. What do you like best about Voxy?

The content is always up to date. It can be adapted to your institution syllabus. The support and success teams are always eager to help you either to solve any technical detail as well as to help you to get the best of the platform. Also, they continously do improvements at not additional cost, which is great. In addition, the added value to your students learning process is amazing as they can continue learning outside the class with real life and interest based content. What do you dislike about Voxy?

It is important to have very clear how do you want to use the tool for your students. We chose optional and its proven being successful, but for some students on "probation" we made it mandatory during their probation time and it also proved being successful. What problems is Voxy solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main business problem we solved was being able to offer an online platform to our more than 2000 English students without the cost of develop it and maintain it. Our students are more engaged in our courses and get a tool to improve their language abilities. We were able to offer a really appreciated added value in short time. Overall it is a great system, even though there are minor issues with the Pronunciation practice and the quality of the units' recordings. As Voxy has a rising number of students around the world, live instruction sessions at some levels are often full. I hope Voxy can fix it quickly so that our students can enjoy the classes. What do you like best about Voxy?

I really like the accessibility of the platform, as well as the interface.

We can give the opportunity for our students to study English without leaving their homes or going to a traditional class. Also, it is a powerful tool of internationalization at home, as it provides English learning for our students inside the university. "Voxy: The epitome of perfection"

What do you like best about Voxy?

What I love the best about Voxy is the way the real world is brought into each and every one of the lessons delivered. The perfect balance between listening comprehension and reading comprehension makes it a fantastically harmonious course. The hightlight of the whole course is the unlimited number of live classes that students can take in any given day. No other course in the market is able to offer live classes galore! What do you dislike about Voxy?

There are things you can tell they are trying to improve on - aka their streamlining with different products and their technology. For some of the lessons, I had a bit of a difficulty understanding how they came about their multiple choice questions or vocabulary options. For learning lessons, it is best to have similar items. I understand learning and so forth is helpful when made fun, but there needs to be some updates in technology - which I have seen.
