Better Impact is a very easy program to use for operators at all levels. The rostering and reporting system is just excellent. Nothing I have used compares to BI. Every year I am asked to create reports for all of our BI organisations. The reports need to include gender specific stats for all orgs and this can be difficult to develop a report for. I like that I can create a schedule that volunteers can pick and choose from. I can also attached documents to specific activities so volunteers have all the information ahead of time. Not really dislike, but the learning curve, when for setting it up. But the training videos were extremely helpful. Once I learned where to find them. I like that i can ask for help with how to use Better Impact any time. I love the app for volunteers. I like the communication facility; everything is a lot easier to do. Everything I need to do in my role is made easy; reporting, communication and managing large numbers of volunteers would not be possible without it. We are able to be paperless. It is easier to comply with GDPR regulations. A peer has persuaded her organisation to get Better Impact based on my recommendation. I showed her how to get started; she is delighted with it. The flexibility of the software to accomodate almost any requirement that our organization has come up with. It is amazing how many challenges we have resolved through Better Impact. The support system is outstanding; a terrific on-line help system, combined with nearly instantaneous chat support, keeps us productive. 700 happy volunteers using the system is the icing on the cake. It's hard to find a dislike, but a challenge that we have is that Better Impact is a closed system that we are not able to interface with other systems. A few examples; using a single sign-on ability, the ability to integrate contact information for an online directory, and integration with an external donation system. We have a significant number of events (over a thousand) that volunteers can sign up for. Keeping track of this was a nightmare before implementing Better Impact. The support on chat has been wonderful! The response is timely and has helped me solve many challenges. For example, terminology such as Activity and Assign can confuse volunteers. They are used differently than most organizations in our area use them. I like that Better Impact has a dedicated team that is easy to connect with to help me with any question or need that I might have. The program is extensive and has a lot to offer and sometimes I just need to talk to a real person who knows the program inside and out so that I can maximize what I get out of the software. The only downside to Better Impact is that there are sometimes restrictions to what Better Impact can accomplish. Consumers can suggest new features to to be added to Better Impact which is fantastic but unfortunately I have seen some great ideas get rejected and with no answer as to why. Better Impact was the software that had the capabilities to work at an Enterprise level for our organisation as well as giving us the options we needed for different area's requirements. I did not find much about this software that I disliked. If I had to choose it would be the fact I had to set up the software by myself and it was not as user friendly as I expected.
