**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

The drag and drop visual interface is the thing I like the most it makes building the complex conversational voice agents very fast and efficient. It has so many options for integrations with different tools for CRMS, e-commerce platforms and apps so that we can easily use it in existing systems.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

The documentation is not informative , we need to figure out a lot of things ourself before building Agents. And human in loop feature is not there which is very much required.

**What problems is Voiceflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Voiceflow has become our preferred tool for quickly building proof-of-concepts for clients, often within just a few days. We only need one developer to create the conversation flow, rather than a large team, which saves a significant amount of resources. Its capability to integrate with our existing tech stack via APIs allows us to easily connect to CRMs, databases, and third-party services without the need for extensive custom development. This makes our POC demonstrations both more impressive and functional.

**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

What I love most about Voiceflow is how intuitive and flexible it is.
It allows me to design complex conversational experiences visually, while still having full control through logic, variables, APIs, and JavaScript blocks.
The interface is clean, easy to use, and makes it fast to build and iterate on chatbot projects for clients, even large ones.
It’s the perfect balance between simplicity and power, making it ideal for both beginners and professionals. And very easy to implement on a website.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

One thing that’s still missing is the ability to handle more advanced conversation management.
For example, we can’t yet attach or send files inside conversations, or transfer an ongoing chat to another user or agent directly within the interface.
Having a built-in system for team collaboration and conversation transfer would make it even more complete for professional use. Need still the use of meta intégration.

**What problems is Voiceflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Voiceflow helps me design and deploy conversational agents that automate repetitive customer interactions, from answering FAQs to qualifying leads and booking appointments.

Before using Voiceflow, building and maintaining chatbots required a lot of manual coding and testing. Now, I can quickly prototype, test, and improve experiences without needing a developer for every update.

It helps my clients scale their customer support without hiring additional staff.

**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

What I appreciate most about Voiceflow is how intuitive and well-organized the platform feels. It streamlines the process of designing, testing, and deploying conversational AI projects, making even complex workflows manageable. The drag-and-drop interface, paired with the option for code integration, strikes an excellent balance between user-friendliness and technical capability. Setting up projects is straightforward, and the documentation along with the support resources are both clear and current. I also value the collaborative tools, which make it easy to work alongside non-technical colleagues and iterate efficiently. The extensive range of built-in features and integrations is impressive, enabling me to connect with APIs, databases, and other external services with very little hassle.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

While Voiceflow is highly user-friendly, there are still some advanced features that necessitate manual workarounds or the use of external integrations to achieve complete customization. Managing complex logic or larger projects can sometimes become challenging from a visual standpoint. Furthermore, although customer support is responsive, having more real-time assistance or more comprehensive technical documentation would be especially helpful for developers working on enterprise-level solutions. Despite these minor issues, they are outweighed by Voiceflow’s overall usability, flexibility, and reliable performance.

Very easy to create userflows. I like how building a voice agent I can use this for an upsell and a voice agent. The agent step is super powerful but you can also build deterministic flows if needed which is very handy.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

I wish I was allowed to add the footer text such as "Powered by Valchy.AI" as before this was an option but they removed it and now I can't add this which is a nice way to promote my agency with my client's traffic.

Voice agents for companies being overwhelmed with calls for basic inquiries as well as AI chatbots which usually again solves customer supoprt issues and free's up time as 70% of the questions easily get automated.

**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

I prefer Voiceflow over any other no-code bot building platform. I run my entire AI integration agency solely with Voiceflow, supporting more than 10 clients. In my experience, Voiceflow provides some of the most advanced customization options available, such as functions, extensions, and custom CSS. These features allow you to create almost any behavior, functionality, or unique look for your AI assistant. The platform is also extremely reliable and stable in production, and it scales effortlessly to accommodate tens of thousands of users without any problems. Voiceflow also offers a wide range of APIs, so you can programmatically control nearly anything you require. For over five years, Voiceflow has remained a leading bot building platform, consistently staying ahead by regularly adding new features. Overall, I would recommend this platform to anyone serious about launching and growing a reliable, profitable AI business in the future.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

One drawback is that Voiceflow cannot be hosted locally or restricted to a specific region, such as the EU, which limits the ability to choose a particular hosting location. Another limitation is that you are unable to use your own API keys for the AI agent, as you must rely on the built-in AI credits provided. Furthermore, there are no integrated features for setting up guardrails or moderation to prevent harmful content from being processed by the LLM. When it comes to using extensions, there is also no way to cache them in the conversation history, so you are required to clear the conversation history or memory with each new browser session.

It makes building AI assistants much easier, faster, and more intuitive, eliminating the need to write custom code from the ground up. **What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

I have been using Voiceflow for over a year at an AI automation agency, and I find it to be incredibly beneficial for building custom AI solutions, especially chat agents for various sectors like car dealerships and financial advisors. I appreciate how easy it was to set up Voiceflow initially, which allowed me to quickly learn and start building AI agents. The native chat widgets and streaming functions significantly enhance user experience, making it easy to provide high-level service. I particularly like the 'agent step' feature and how Voiceflow manages the knowledge base and indexing into vectors. The visual appeal of their chat widgets and pop-ups is also noteworthy. I like that Voiceflow significantly reduces the need for users to speak to a human by effectively troubleshooting and providing instant answers, which is particularly beneficial for our chatbot operations. I appreciate the button creation feature, as it prompts users through the experience and enhances their interaction with the chatbot, preventing them from dropping out or deciding to type messages to speak to a human. I also find the integration with Intercom beneficial; it smoothly turns requests to speak to a human into emails, maintaining seamless communication. Moreover, the pricing of Voiceflow is very solid and highly worth it, offering great value for our needs.

I found the initial setup process to be slightly difficult. I would recommend that Voiceflow provide more templates to help users start off with a base instead of a blank slate.

I really like that you can make your build as complex as you want. You are even able to use the API to create a custom UI or integrate Voiceflow to your app. For people who want quick wins, Voiceflow is easy to use and implement.

It still requires additional tools to access certain features. Also, there is still no option to be fully GDPR compliant.

Voiceflow is solving the challenge of designing and deploying conversational AI experiences efficiently. It is eliminating the need for complex coding, allowing our team to collaborate seamlessly and bring ideas to life faster without any engineering limitation. We used to spend months trying to get an intent prioritarized internally with the engeenering team and now as the interface is low-code we can do it by ourselves. The platform’s flexibility and premium support make it an invaluable system for our customer solutions team to design and create excellent conversational workflows.

What I like most is that the platform is very intuitive and while there is a learning curve, once you get the hang of it, you are empowered to create some really powerful applications.  The support when you get stuck is great and there are plenty of resources which makes it easy to help yourself.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

Voiceflow is a maturing platfrom, which has it's pros and cons.  The pros is that the team is shipping new features at a rapid pace, but the downside of that there can sometimes be some unusual bugs which creep in, and on a number of occasions functionality you have built is no longer supported meaning some time is required to rebuild with the newer functionality.

**What problems is Voiceflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I work for a large financial services company, and financial services is notoriously complex.  Building AI powered chatbots and agents means that we can design experiences that help users navigate complex domains in plain and accessible language.  Increased accessibility, and reduced complexity, and increase ease of use widens our business opportunities and this is resulting in increasing our ability to serve more clients, better and cheaper.  And at the same time we are learning more about our clients given the interface, enabling us to design better and better experiences for them over time.

**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

Voiceflow enables perfect planning of the communication flow between chatbot and user. It can be used as a no-code tool, but functions can also be created using Javascript, the web plugin can be customized using html, css and javascript, etc. Countless links with other tools are possible via API. The use of Open AI and Anthropic GPTs is directly integrated into the tool, as is a knowledge base that can be queried via RAG. These functions can also be customized as required (e.g. linking with open source LLMs via API etc...). What I find particularly exciting about the future developments are the functions that are currently being developed for LLM-based real-time voice chatbots. A simple Voiceflow chatbot can be set up in a few minutes and quickly integrated into a website with a plugin. This is also very motivating for complete beginners, the sense of achievement is immediate and the usefulness is quickly recognized. I therefore now use Voiceflow regularly: to build my own chatbots or chatbots for my university and also to introduce university staff and students to the topic of chatbots in practice (training, prototyping...) .

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

Voiceflow has developed so quickly in recent years that the documentation sometimes can't quite keep up with the multitude of possibilities. However, there is a support chatbot and a helpful community on Discord. In the “old” Voiceflow, the classic building blocks such as intents and entities sometimes only worked to a limited extent (as with most NLP tools, intent recognition was sometimes faulty), but here too, the integration of LLMs has resulted in a huge leap forward! LLM-based intent recognition is now available, which has also greatly improved the use of classic chatbot functions.

**What problems is Voiceflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In principle, any workflow that can be handled by means of a conversation (text, voice) between user/customer and chatbot/company can be implemented with Voiceflow. I currently use Voiceflow to communicate with potential applicants for our study programs and customers.

Testing different agent versions or testing your agent on different knowledge base versions isn't very efficient. 

You have to create different agents, test them, and compare with different tabs/screens open. 

An idea:  select two agents, ask a question and see the difference in how both agents respond. 

Adding a feedback survey in an open flow  (a flow where there is no specific end) is complex. You don't want to hardcode asking for feedback because a customer can have multiple questions, you don't want them to fill out a survey after every question.

**What problems is Voiceflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It automates/optimizes our support operations by answering support questions for our software product. We aren't live yet, so we still have to see the real beneftis. However, we expect that our support team can focus on complex questions only and perform additional tasks. Also, we expect that our customer satisfaction will increase since they get answers quicker.

**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

The fact that it's a visual development platform, while at the same time as robust and flexible as if coded from scratch. It has everything, or has the tools to make everything possible. I don't think there are chatbot use cases VF cant handle. It's a complete toolbox with everything in it you need to build agents for any use case you can imagine.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

not an easy way to bring your own model (at least on plan I'm on) so yuo have to buy credits all the time. A more flexible way to incorporate models to the fullest (it is actually possible to do this) would be desired, but I'm sure they will solve this at some point since new features are launched on monthly basis.

**What problems is Voiceflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

for me it's the perfect mix between coding yuor own chatbot experience and and simple assistant. It can do anything you could develop with code, with the easy of a visual builder with code support for more complex use cases.

**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

My favorite part of Voiceflow has been the company's customer service. They've been receptive to feedback even when contracts were still being negotiated. We've seen even small enhancements get fixed by their product team quickly. Beyond that, Voiceflow is incredibly user-friendly and has all the elements needed to make organized, collaborative bot designs. I use Voiceflow all day every day, and it's made my work life a thousand times easier.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

There’s no resounding, large thing I can think of that I dislike about Voiceflow. There are small things that could be improved, like giving default access to every space in an organization unless you elect to make a space private because almost daily we have to give new people access to all our different spaces, and that’s time consuming. Or when you duplicate a project, it’d be nice if the comments and personas were duplicated as well.

**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

Voiceflow is a great platform for building AI chatbots. Voiceflow has an active community with third-party applications being built on top of their APIs. The canvas design enables a very visual and easy building experience.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

Would like more advanced AI features, embeddings, data.

**What problems is Voiceflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Voiceflow streamlines the AI chatbot creation process enabling advanced builds with their canvas designer. Voiceflow is the platform to use with all types of client requirements, having full control of the chatbot flow enables much more useful applications.

**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

Great user interface. Easily navigable, simple, user-friendly, collaborative.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

Voiceflow typically had a lot of "bugs" that hindered our work at times as well as made it difficult for our other team members to go in and collaborate with us. I spent a lot of my time as a designer, troubleshooting for other team members. Also, VF became so focused on the GenAI features that large enterprise groups who are unable to integrate with or use GenAI at all, got kind of lost in the shuffle. The product became so focused on those features that basic capabilities like version control took a back seat.

**What problems is Voiceflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VF solves design and collaboration problems. With VF you have everything in one place, one source of truth. VF makes design clearer than any other tool.

**What do you like best about Voiceflow?**

VoiceFlow is an excellent tool for prototyping voice and chat experiences and has a great deal of flexibility. The support team is also very helpful and quick to provide answers, as well as willing to listen to suggestions for improvement.

**What do you dislike about Voiceflow?**

Difficult for multimodal experiences and incorporating images.

**What problems is Voiceflow solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us to create quick and high quality prototypes for leadership and review. Also allows us to have consistent documentation for critical flows.

Easy to use, comprehensive solution, great templates and intuitive canvas. The team are very helpful and knowledgeable, very easy to work with.

I wish Voiceflow had more out-of-the-box integrations to the major customer support and CRM platforms
