It is much easier to scalable your environment using vSphere compared to the traditional physical server environment as well as performance optimization.
Overall Availability, Scalability, Optimization, and Manageability provide great benefits.
As well as customer support is very remarkable when issues occur they are quickly responding to the tickets that we are submitted through our support portals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VMware vSphere licensing cost is difficult for small businesses to afford.
Technical engineers who are new to VMware vSphere it somewhat difficult to learn to get experience in Install, configuring & manage the vSphere Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Of everything I find the most useful in VMware vSphere, what I find the most useful is a good performance and versatility when it comes to managing a virtualized environment in which the management of resources, growth and the management of virtual machines is highly effective. VMware vSphere has one disadvantage just as it is a best bet against its competitor, however, this is where vSphere stands apart. This is the reason why VMware vSphere is said to be of a disadvantage in the presented system; which in turns leads to the additional initial setup and configuration difficulties for those who either have no prior basic knowledge of virtualization tools or does not possess an engineering degree in IT for a least of a few years of practice. vSphere has been the benchmark of virtualisation products since I can remember. vSphere is a product that "just works" within an on-premise datacentre environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Removal of the "fat" client and force usage of the web client was a particular grievance. Useability of the web client has imporved significantly in recent years, however it still falls slightly short. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VMware vSphere is easy to deploy, use, and manage. I've been working with it since version 4.0 and have several certifications. The installation is very easy if you follow the hardware support guide and make sure to use supported hardware. Customer support is generally pretty good, but can be hit or miss depending on the engineering support you get assigned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest downside of VMware vSphere is Broadcom's purchase of the company. The support has gotten both worse and much more expensive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find that vSphere does it's job very well. We've made heavy use of templates and scripting to make deploying new VM's very quick and easy. Using technologies like vVols makes storage in vSphere easy to track and manage. Also, given app admin console access which allows them to get to the consoles of their boxes if something is wrong so they aren't waiting on VI admins to trouble shoot their boxes. Other than cost currently, I've not got very many downsides with vSphere to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VMware vSphere has become an integral part of our day to day work
It helps to easily create and manage multiple virtual machines
because of VMWare vSphere we able easily create virtual machines and test the software which we require in our day to day work.
The istallation on a Server is very easy and smooth.
The best part what I like the most is that with the new version of vSphere we don't have to installl the client software to manage it, one can do through a web interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of now don't have any specific thing which i can point which makes me dislike it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are several things to like about such as High Availability and Fault Tolerance with echance security including encyrption, secure and role based access control also the intergation and compability is unmatched. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost can be quiet expensive specially for small business. Vsphere integrates well with other Vmware Products but compatiblity with third party solution can sometime be limited or require additional configurations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like VMware vSphere for its robust virtualization capabilities, allowing efficient resource utilization and easy management of virtual machines. Its high availability, fault tolerance, and live migration features enhance uptime and reliability. vSphere’s ability to automate tasks and integrate with various third-party tools streamlines IT operations. Additionally, its scalability supports growing infrastructure needs, while the centralized management console simplifies oversight. The enhanced security and performance optimization tools make it a comprehensive solution for modern IT environments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One downside of VMware vSphere is its high licensing and support costs, which can be prohibitive for smaller organizations. The complexity of initial setup and configuration can also be challenging for teams without specialized expertise. Additionally, while vSphere is feature-rich, some functionalities are only available in higher-tier licenses, limiting flexibility for those on a budget. Frequent updates and patches, while necessary for security, can sometimes introduce compatibility issues or require significant downtime for upgrades. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been working with VMware vSphere for six years. I was positively surprised by the stability and diversity of vSphere options: vMotion, HA, DRS and DVS. Additionally, Fault Tolerance and AutoDeploy. Those are very cool features.
vSphere works best with Aria Operations and vSAN. I also want to highlight the ease of deploying vCenter and ESXi hosts.
In case you need anything, customer support is always ready to assist with troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
