We can deploy virtual servers/desktops in minutes, and thus we can use the CPU and memory of the server efficiently. It's a type-1 hypervisor which virtualises the servers into VMs. On top of the virtualised VMs, we can provision applications and desktops virtually. **What do you dislike about VMware vSphere?** The vSphere client user interface is a bit old and buggy. Time to upgrade to the new version. Apart from that, there is nothing to dislike about the vSphere hypervisor. **What problems is VMware vSphere solving and how is that benefiting you?** VMware vSphere Hypervisor is helping us to enable our users to work remotely(from anywhere) by virtualising our data centre, thus providing virtual servers, desktops and applications to the end users, which they can access from anywhere over the internet. From the ratio of 1 OS to 1 physical server, they made it possible to host multiple OS/servers in 1 physical server (depending on the server specifications).
