## vMix Reviews
 ### 1. Great streaming software - for me the best

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael R. | Owner of a media company, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2024

**What do you like best about vMix?**

Stability, performance, functions, possibilities
For me it was the best streaming software then I testet the famous ones for my productive use several years ago.
I use it for every livestream. After I watched some tutorials I figured out how to use it - which is not really intuitive at first. But after understanding how the software works it is great to work with.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

It is different so you really have to learn the UI. But then it is great.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need a reliable live mixing software for my live streams. I mix several sdi cameras with blackmagic ATEM and PIP and title elements together to a stream and bring it to the people using wowza.

 ### 2. Good production product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2024

**What do you like best about vMix?**

Stability and resource consumption are minimal with an excellent tool and many options.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

It is only available for Windows, and it cannot be used on Mac, and the integration with mobile devices is through third parties.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I think the licensing would be better as a monthly or annual subscription.

 ### 3. Easy to spin up and use even to someone new

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mudith J. | Project Manager - KSA Delivery, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 28, 2023

**What do you like best about vMix?**

vMix was our core braodcasting software, which allowed us to stream using 2 to 4 camera setups. It was easy to use and switch beteen the cameras, and we were able to use super imposed scoring and live commentary which was sent to a Wowza Streaming engine as this supported connectivity to the same. The license cost was a bit towards the high side but hte investment was all returned within a span of just 1 month as we used to live stream upto 20 matches within a calendar month. All were local sports games which were 1 - 8 hours of play (Rugby and Cricket). We didnt have any support requirements as everything was smooth in terms of setting things up to usage.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Nothing to note as it was all super easy.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our core business is about live streaming school and local national level sports games. vMix was our main software to support switching and push to the live streaming egress point at Wowza.

 ### 4. Helps to Live stream and few live edit access.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** kushal g. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2024

**What do you like best about vMix?**

Vmix helps in live streaming and to switch between the camera views and can use a good backgroud.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Felt the pricing is more and needed more live edit inputs.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vmix help to stream live in zoom, youtube and other platforms too and quick edit options also available which helps a lot.

 ### 5. vMix and Zoom is a great combo!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey F. | Co-Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about vMix?**

I like that it has the ability to utilize multiple cameras as well as videos, slideshows, and pictures all in one program. It is versatile and adaptable to my needs.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

It's sometimes difficult to figure out how to do what I want in vMix. While it is highly adaptable, I've had to do lots of research to figure out how to make those adaptations. And that's fine, but sometimes I'd just like it to be a bit simpler.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use vMix for live streaming our worship services every Sunday morning. The benefit is that it is adaptable to the needs of each service and we can offer a quality product to our at-home worshippers.

 ### 6. vMix Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** SW E. | Production and Ops Supervisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about vMix?**

I love the versatility of vMix. We use it in multiple different environments, and it can adapt to our needs. I am yet to find something that it doesn't do that I would like it to do.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

I dislike that it often requires you to restart vMix after doing some settings changes. If you change some settings mid-show and then you have to restart it, it can become annoying. Not all setting changes require a restart.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use vMix for many things. We use it for score bugs by taking an input from OCR software. We use it for vision mixing, audio mixing, live streaming and recording

 ### 7. Great Livestreaming Software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Religious Institutions | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2022

**What do you like best about vMix?**

Ease of use. The wide variety of features.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Nothing that I can think of at the moment.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An easy interface to set up our livestream worship services.

 ### 8. Great product! Need a beefed up computer

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan K. | Pastor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2022

**What do you like best about vMix?**

It's user interface and the many options built into it

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

It takes some time to learn the program and how to best implement it.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program helped us get off the ground live streaming. Moreover, their program helped to create a more refined and professional product.

 ### 9. Robust Livestreaming Platform with a Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mojenta D. | Director of Marketing Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about vMix?**

The source inputs and outputs have a great deal of variety. Additionally, its many features allow you to do a great deal with live streaming. It broadcasts fairly seamlessly with several platforms and has a very smooth interface (once you get past the learning curve).

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

The tool has a fairly steep learning curve (as do many other live streaming tools), so you'll have to get past that hurdle before you're able to leverage the software effectively. Additionally, it is a bandwidth hog (as are most live streaming services), so be sure to have a strong connection before pushing things live.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No active problems to flag. The biggest benefit is multi-location live streaming, which allows us to share links with people off-site, which we can push onto the stream. This had a significant impact during the pandemic.

 ### 10. My First Choice for a Live Stream Solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc I. | Producer/Project Manager/Script Writer/Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2021

**What do you like best about vMix?**

I like producing a live stream using both live speakers and prerecorded segments easily through this broadcast platform. I always recommend having the vMix operator control all content, including waiting room countdown videos, rather than using a separate person to run content on the platform where the content is streaming, Zoom, for example.

The green room option gives speakers a place to connect and discuss the content before the live stream begins. That's especially helpful if a particular speaker cannot join us for the tech set-up ahead of the live event start. They can log into vMix and be added to the green room before their segment begins. This scenario has been a recurring one with the live events I produce that often involve people from different time zones and even other countries.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

The limited seat count (8) on vMix has been an issue for productions involving more than eight speakers. If they're not all appearing simultaneously, it can mean multiple people must share the same link at different times during the live stream. It also means I am unable to remain on vMix if a production has eight speakers. For rehearsals, I will remain on vMix as a producer/director but then must move to another platform on live event day. This forces me to communicate with my vMix team through other means during the live stream, such as texting.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

vMix allows me to provide live streaming services for clients who host webinars, summits, and conferences. One major benefit is taking the requirement of playing the prerecorded content (videos, slideshows, etc.) out of their hands during the event so they can watch the event and enjoy it. The professional production keeps clients coming back again and again for this service.

 ### 11. A powerful video mixer at your fingertips

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Photography | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 08, 2021

**What do you like best about vMix?**

VMix makes it easy to set up multiple inputs, including cameras, audio, and mixed media. Keyboard shortcuts make it simple to toggle back and forth between inputs.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

At first use, the GUI isn't very intuitive. For example, setting up triggers is a bit confusing because there is no "save" button. However, you'll be able to find everything you need in their excellent documentation and in their YouTube video tutorials.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VMix helped us set up an entire video production without purchasing expensive video mixing equipment. We were able to get up and running quickly with our existing PC and a video ingest card.

 ### 12. vMix Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stacy B. | Resilience & Performance Advanced Leadership Strategist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2020

 ### 13. Full of suprises

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony C. | Independent Business Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 09, 2020

**What do you like best about vMix?**

The guide to get started made it quick and easy to learn and begin creating content

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Some of the word overlays dont have enough room for text. This is problematic when we have someone who is a guest and they have a long name followed by a long sermon title.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

Plan ahead before using it. Make sure you purchase a capture card. After your trial expires, know that the $60 does not give you what you had during your trial. Instead that cost $350.00 Yes, its written on their website but you have to be searching for it to know. The $60 only gives you 4 inputs. Each image counts as a input.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the organizations I used this software for is composed of many older generational individuals. Therefore it was important to them that they find something that would assist them with being attractive to the younger generation. We are able to live stream so all of our affiliates may engage. This enabled us to include slide shows and attract other advertisements. We were able to place scriptures on top of our videos for our viewers to read along quickly. Our giving has increased as a result of being able to visibly communicate where and how to give during this pandemic. Another organization waited until the last minute to put together something in lieu of not being able to have their regional event. They were able to retain sponsors because of this production.

 ### 14. The best live video production software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro P. | Productor Ejecutivo, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2020

**What do you like best about vMix?**

vMix has all the tools that you could need to produce a live video show. All of them.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

The media pool is tricky. The resizing options are a pain. The audio mixing and talkback could be better. No option to replace an asset for another, keeping their attributes.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

Spend time reading and watching tutorials, and making test and trials to achieve the best results. Record and stream as much as you can.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In the lockdown era, remote video production is the only way to move forward. For media producers vMix give us all the tools you can need to perform a professional live show, and this is priceless

 ### 15. Software solution for video mixing and online streaming

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abhishek D. | Media & Streaming Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2020

**What do you like best about vMix?**

I like vMix because it is very easy to setup various shots by assigning various camera inputs, adding videos, presentation and other graphics. It is an all in one solution for mixing video and streaming.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

There are two things I dislike about vMix. First to install and run vMix with all its functionality it requires a machine with high specs, secondly streaming using vMix at a lower bit-rate give less clarity as compared to other streaming software.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

If you are looking for a software solution for live video mixing or switching do try vMix. It solves a lot of problem by eliminating many hardware devices that one might require while using a dedicated video mixer. All you need is one machine with the required specification.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using vMix as a one stop solution to video mix different camera shots as well as live stream it. vMix has reduced the size of my setup by eliminating a dedicated hardware video mixer.

 ### 16. vMix is a powerful software based switcher perfect for broadcast and livestream environments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2020

**What do you like best about vMix?**

vMix filled a hole for us several years ago where we didn't want to spend the money required for a full production switcher, but needed a multi-cam switcher for our live stream broadcasts that was budget friendly but was still feature rich. vMix has only grown leaps and bounds since then, adding a multitude of features that has kept it competitive while still keeping the price low. The support team is great, and the community is excellent if you have questions.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Because it is software based, there have been instances that it won't work with certain hardware, but we don't find that out until the testing phase. They did produce their own hardware briefly, which we purchased, but it is underpowered for the current version and we can't use all the features. Also, the interface really could used a slight update, as it looks very plain when compared to other offerings from Newtek or Black Magic.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

If you are looking for a budget friendly live switcher, this is the one. The basic version has the features you need, the Pro version has the features you want. It really gives people just getting started a way to deliver professional looking events, and has a feature set that will impress seasoned pros.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

vMix gave us a powerful broadcast grade switcher for a budget price. It works with any of the major broadcast formats and hardware, so we are able to deploy it with our own crews or any third party crew and integrate with them seamlessly. It allows us to work with the client to deliver exactly what they want without hiccups and it is very flexible.

 ### 17. A great product for all your streaming needs

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Events Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2020

**What do you like best about vMix?**

The variety of things you can do with the software is great. You can switch in a live picture in picture, you can record, multi-cord, stream and have your video source projecting externally, you can set up multiple hotkeys and have a variety of sources ready to go at once. There are things also like Vmix NDi, which is a very useful tool as well as Vmix Call, particularly because whichever computer is connecting externally for NDi or for Vmix call doesn't actually need to have Vmix installed.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

It uses a lot of CPU usage, and it can be a bit expensive. It also can be a bit buggy at times, so, for example, my encoder needs to be connected before I launch Vmix, otherwise, Vmix won't recognize its there.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been able to record slides with video at the same time using Vmix NDi, which has saved us lots of time in post-production. Also just being able to live switch and create lower thirds on the fly has proven to be immensely useful

 ### 18. Best value for money streaming software out there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eric T. | Marketing and Communications Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

Really great set of features for streaming live sports on a budget. $60 gets you access to four inputs and HD broadcasting, or you can step it up and get features like instant replay. Great set of scoreboards too with XML input.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

If you're more tech savvy, you can get OBS and use it for free. Sometimes has a few bugs when trying to stream to YouTube in 1080p, but these were fixed.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

If you're on a budget and need barebones HD streaming, use OBS and pay $0. But for a bit extra, you can get access to useful features and quality of life improvements that make for a much easier streaming experience.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before vMix we had glitchy, unreliable streams of our matches, but this new software has allowed us to have a consistent, easy to use streaming setup that can be adapted for national team matches in huge stadiums or tiny productions at a park with no local Internet connection available.

 ### 19. A little clunky, but overall decent video mixing / streaming software

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

It's relatively easy to set up an RTMP stream to social media (Facebook). As long as you have the right equipment, you can deploy a mobile setup quickly. This can be helpful if budget and time restrictions are present.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

The software itself can be somewhat clunky to use if you're not proficient in a video mixing software.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

Works in a pinch, but if you're going to use it on a regular basis, I would recommend a hardware switcher instead of software. You need pretty hefty CPU requirements to keep up with more than two simultaneous sources, whereas a hardware switcher can handle 8-10 with no issues!

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I occasionally use it to send a live event to Facebook. If I need to set up a live feed for an event, I can do so quickly. Note, I would only recommend vMix for a mobile setup, not for a permanent rig.

 ### 20. Amazing Software With So Many Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Preeti G. | Content Manager & Digital Marketer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

There are a lot of things I like about this software is
- Easy to use.
- Setup is very simple and the layout and workflow are adaptable.
- The software is also very cheap as compared to other software's.
- Supports good varieties of different media sources

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

what i dislike about vMIX is It does not support 3 different streaming services at a time.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

Are you looking for a tool to show your project or your company this software is best. it is very cheap and has a lot of graphic features. I would highly recommend this software to everyone.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using vMix to live stream our events. VMix has enabled us to connect a lot higher evaluation cameras, switch angles, and even include illustrations like our logo directly on top. This has made a very better looking and sounding live stream for our audiences.

 ### 21. VMix is a great product for all your multimedia software needs.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris S. | Office Support, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

VMix is great for being able to broadcast a live stream across various platforms in an easy to use interface that takes little training. VMix also supports a good variety of different media sources as well, making it easy to use almost any media source you have.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Vmix currently does not support streaming to more than 3 different streaming services at a time. Creating overlay's could be made more simple as well.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

Use the free trial offered on the website. This will give you a good indication as to how the software works. I think most will find it suits your streaming needs.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A clean stream is sent to all sources that we stream to for our live broadcast.

 ### 22. vMix - simple & effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brooke G. | Independent Business Owner, Media Production, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

vMix has been easy to use. The layout and workflow is adaptable to any team and area of work that involves live streaming. Set up was simple, and troubleshooting was simple. It is also way cheaper than lots of other resources out there. We use this for our non-profit, so that can tell you how affordable it is. We had a problem we needed to solve, and vMix was a direct answer. Many other companies tried to sell us, but vMix was the obvious choice. We used it for post-production services but then we discovered we could also live stream and switch as well!

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

What I dislike about vMix is the requirement of a video graphics card. This was not a problem for us, however it makes it harder to recommend to other non-profits that may not have the resources to purchase the needed components. This can be a major setback for organizations. Other than that, vMix has been great.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

Its cheap and gets the job done - it's worth the try

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using vMix to live stream our church services, worship/music times, and events. We live stream to multiple platforms. We solved a major quality issue by using vMix. We used to use just a mobile phone to stream. This limited us to only 1 angle and fairly bad audio (especially during live music). VMix has allowed us to hook up much higher grade cameras, switch angles, and even add graphics like our logo right on top. This has created an extremely better looking and sounding live stream for our audience.

 ### 23. Vmix Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Murilo T. | IT Technician, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 02, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

Vmix its a powerful video switcher to live transmissions and live recording videos.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

The license its only payable with dollar.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

If you are tired of struggling with OBS, come find out why vMix Rocks! When compared to other streaming software, vMix is the Best Streaming Software for PC.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I could reuse legacy video devices and computers at USP to create an auditorium environment.

 ### 24. A software with many features and benifits

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Navodya J. | Undergraduated, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

The software is easy to use and cost effective relative to the other products. Can upload videos in many format options. I can place up to four screens to have better control of my transmission.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Not supporting 3 streaming videos at a time is kind of an issue.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

It is easy to use and cheap as well. Worth trying!

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used it for live streaming ,so far the output is excellent. Its amazing how the user can add logos on top of the screen while screening the videos.

 ### 25. Review of vMix

**Reviewed by:** Paige C. | Student Mentor, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

I like the ease of this system and how many tools there are to use.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Sometimes it takes a while to learn all the different aspects of the program but it’s worth it.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

Learn as much as you can about it because of its usefulness.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Learning the extent of the system. Benefits include all the different things I can do and make on this system.

 ### 26. vMix Great for Performers and Presenters

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Entertainment | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

You can literally have a person switch between preprogrammed shots during a live performance or presentation. The possibilities with this program are endless and bring the professional feel of video use in a live show to a whole new, user friendly level.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

You will have to pay a much higher dollar to be able to work with 4K video, as I’m currently only using the HD version.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VMix brings my use of video to a much more professional looking level and requires the work of only one person to operate.

 ### 27. Seems capable but not easy to implement

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Transportation/Trucking/Railroad | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 23, 2019

**What do you like best about vMix?**

We never really found a great fit for this. We liked all the features that have but seemed a bit difficult to implement.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Documentation and figuring out what product we should be looking for was a challenge.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing at this time. Would like to use it to replace backgrounds in live broadcasts but not sure it will give the quality we need.

 ### 28. Best intuitive live streaming software

**Reviewed by:** Khursheed A. | Founder, Chairman & CEO, Professional Training & Coaching, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 22, 2017

**What do you like best about vMix?**

Easy handling, initial 2 months free trial, regularly updating, training videos, punctual and friendly response, reliability.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Nothing, even if I do and write to the forum to implement, it is done if enough vote justify them to do.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

Must for live streamers, Get initiated by "streaming idiots".

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Live broadcasting.

 ### 29. Trial use only.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Broadcast Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2017

**What do you like best about vMix?**

I like the layout style and unlimted layer structure of Wirecast.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

Not being able to deactivate or turn off the Preview window.

**Recommendations to others considering vMix:**

Ask them to make it so that you can deactivate or turn off the Preview window.

**What problems is vMix solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It handles a custom virtual studio reasonably but does not allow switching with the preview window deactivated.

 ### 30. Impressive video projection!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Johnny R. | Fundador, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2016

**What do you like best about vMix?**

A lighter interface with a minuscule time waiting for the start. Easy to upload files to project and many formatting options. I used the time to deferred television channels and live the experience was rewarding. The new version supports 4K video with high stability. This program allows input capture video in real time without losing fluidity and image quality. It Contains 4 options overlay file over another. You have tool to remove archival holdings and thus use scenarios containing virtual to create a set in real time. I can record my program with excellent quality. Supports variety of formats such as: Videos (all formats), audio (all formats), pictures, PowerPoint, Flash, desktop capture, xaml. I can project my overlapping social networks with real-time updating. I can place up to four screens to have better control of my transmission.

**What do you dislike about vMix?**

I limited to only four channels overlap. It requires installation of codec packs to support all formats. Project requires many resources to live with high output formats such as 2K and 4K. The playlist tool does not allow add entire lists of files, you must add one by one each video you intend to project and that makes automatic programming times each hour.
